What is Clickbank Pirate?

clickbank pirate homepage

Clickbank Pirate is a done-for-you package which gives you their turnkey websites and templates to build your own affiliate marketing business.

Apart from that, they also have their own tutorials and other marketing tools & resources for their members. Their main focus is to help their members build a successful and profitable affiliate marketing business based around Clickbank (this is pretty obvious from the name of their product, right?).

This may sound like a pretty decent program in the beginning but I'm here with this review to show you the opposite and expose to you their ugly truth, literally!

Founders of Clickbank Pirate

Let's start off from the founders of Clickbank Pirate because I found something interesting.

On their sales page, the message is from a guy called David Blaze, which I couldn't find any information about him online:

clickbank pirate founder message

However, I found out that the actual founders are Soren Jordansen and Cindy Battye. Upon further investigation, these two are also the owners of IM Wealth Builder, the company that created quite a number of scam products like Covert Store Builder.

I confirmed this discovery when I found out that you'll be led to IM Wealth Builders' support page when you click on the "Contact us" link at the end of Clickbank Pirate sales page.

Clickbank Pirate Hypes & Promises:

As you skim through CBP's sales page, you'll find a lot of hypes and promises along the way. Let me just highlight to you the main ones and expose them one by one...

1. $10,000 Per Month Without a Website or a Product of Your Own

I wouldn't consider myself as an expert in internet marketing. But being in this business for quite some time, website is one of the most important thing for me.

It's fine if you don't have your own product because you can promote other people's product via affiliate marketing. However, if you don't have a website, everything will be a lot more difficult for you.

Not only that, Clickbank Pirate says that they will provide you with turnkey websites. But I thought they've just said you don't need a website?

Isn't that contradicting?

2. Start Generating Autopilot Income in Less Than 15min

clickbank pirate hype

I believe even the experts won't be able to start generating autopilot income in less than 15 minutes from scratch. How can they be so confident and promise you this?

3. Set up Everything for You. You don't need your own Hosting, Autoresponder or whatsoever...

clickbank pirate hype

Well, they promise you that they'll handle all these for you and you can just use the tools they provide for their members.

You can definitely use their hosting but for things like website and autoresponder, I'm sure you don't want to have identical content and design as your competitors, right?

If they are really setting up all these for you, doesn't that mean all the members will have very similar if not identical website and autoresponder?

Let's assume they really do provide these for you. But do you know how expensive do these things cost? If you want a quality hosting, website and autoresponder, it'll cost much much more than $37 per month. So, I'm 100% sure their services are very low-quality.

4. Never have to Write a Single Word

clickbank pirate hype

Clickbank Pirate even promised you that you don't need to write a single word because they'll provide you with 20 done-for-you blog posts every month for your turnkey website. They claim that you'll be able to start generating autopilot income with their done-for-you blog posts.

Seriously! Do you believe in this kind of BS?

This kind of done-for-you blog posts are considered duplicate content in the eyes of Google. You're not publishing unique and original content. No search engine is going to trust you and give you the traffic you want.

How are you going to create your so-called "autopilot income" even without traffic?

5. You don't have to Sell Anything

clickbank pirate hype

They promise you that you don't have to sell anything. All you need to do is to give away free reports and they'll do all the selling for you.

Well, they're once again offering you a done-for-you service.

Let me expose to you what they are actually doing behind this process...

They'll give you your affiliate link to give away their free reports. However, you're actually helping them to promote their product and help them make more money.

You will get your commission but the owners of Clickbank Pirate are earning way more than you. In other words, this can be seen as a form of pyramid scheme because what they're doing is to teach you and help you promote their own product.

6. 5 Complete Turnkey Packages Every Month

If you're a member of CBP, they'll send you 5 complete turnkey packages every month which include ready-made landing page templates, articles and blog posts.

To get these tools and resources, you have to pay a recurring fee of $37 per month which I don't think it's worth the price at all. In addition, the duplicate articles and blog posts have zero value.

In my opinion, this is just their strategy to make people continue paying them recurring membership fees.

Pros & Cons

The Good

1. 60-Day Money-Back Guarantee

I think the best thing about this package is that you're covered by 60-Day Money-Back Guarantee. You can always get a refund within 60 days if you don't like it (which I feel the chances are high).

Payment processing is done through Clickbank so it's pretty easy to request for a refund.

2. Access to the Proven Templates

Their turnkey websites and landing pages may be useful for beginners because beginners don't know how to create an effective landing page to convert potential customers.

Pre-built proven templates are actually very helpful for beginners to start running their business. If not, building your own conversion focused website and landing page is actually quite a big obstacle for complete newbies.

3. At least it's Teaching a Legit Business Model

Clickbank Pirate is using and teaching affiliate marketing, which is a legit and proven business model. A lot of people have achieved huge success and monetary reward via affiliate marketing.

Despite how useless their turnkey services are, at least they are using a legit business model, instead of things like paid surveys.

The Bad

1. Outdated Training & Resources

This product was created quite some time ago and their training resources have not been updated. This can be seen from their training on article marketing and Private Label Right (PLR) articles.

These are outdated strategies that don't work today. You'll have to focus on creating quality, unique and original content to gain Google's trust and rankings.

Also, take a look at their income proof on their sales page:

clickbank pirate income proof

They are still using proofs from 2011

Their income proof shows 2011! They're still using proofs from 2011 on their sales page. What can you expect from their training?

2. Limited to Clickbank

Clickbank is a huge marketplace for affiliate marketing but affiliate marketing is not just about Clickbank. There are a lot more platforms and opportunities out there for you to make money.

If you're onlt limited to Clickbank, then what's the point?

3. A Lot of Hype & Undelivered Promises

As you can seen, Clickbank Pirate is another program that creates a lot of hype and undelivered promises just to convince you to take out your credit card.

Like I've revealed to you. A lot of their claims are just false promises which they don't even deliver.

4. Duplicate Contents

This has been discussed earlier before. Clickbank Pirate's training and resources are outdated. They are still using methods that will lead to duplicate content issue.

On top of that, they didn't mention a single thing about Search Engine Optimization (SEO) as well.

5. Useless Upsell

Right after you subscribe to CBP, they'll offer you an upsell of $197 for an extra 5 turnkey systems. Like I've said earlier these are useless and outdated turnkey systems.

5 More Turnkey Systems cost $197

Clickbank Pirate Alternatives...

I'm sure my stand on this program is pretty clear. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone. It's just an outdated program with a lot of hypes.

Clickbank Pirate makes everything seem so easy and you don't have to do anything much.

Take my advice:

"You won't get the results you want if you're not willing to put in the effort."

Having said that, there are definitely better programs out there.

If you're looking for legitimate custom built websites that are really going to make you money, Human Proof Designs is the place I recommend.

If you want to make money from Clickbank, it makes more sense for you to learn directly from Clickbank, right?

Clickbank University 2.0 is the program that Clickbank created to help people leverage Clickbank and make money.

Finally, Wealthy Affiliate is my all time favorite place for you to learn and earn from affiliate marketing.

Take a look at Wealthy Affiliate and you'll see that there are absolutely no hypes and unrealistic promises like Clickbank Pirate.

Wealthy Affiliate is all about HELP & CARE. It's the only online community that I can confidently use my own reputation to guarantee that you'll get whatever promised.

Thank you for your awesome information. You just helped to save my money and time. I think you are an expert in this affiliate marketing industry. Then you would have heard about Mark Ling and his training courses. I just checked one of his product on this review Do you agree what he saying?

Like always, if it sounds too good to be true then it certainly is so.
Like you say, these guys are only looking to put money into their own bank accounts, not yours.
If Clickbank Pirate really worked then everybody would get copy of it. Just about everyone would like to make easy money and some people are even desperate to do it so I can understand how Clickbank Pirate find their clients.
What everyone needs to learn is that making money online will always take little effort but it is certainly possible if you persist and keep working.
Thanks for a good and detailed review of yet another “make money online” scam.

    Jerry Huang - January 24, 2018

    Hey Jojo,

I agree with you that if something is too good to be true then stay away from it. But I think that making money online is more than just a “little effort”. It requires a lot of hard work and commitment but the reward is worth the hustle!

Thanks for leaving an awesome comment 🙂

I am familiar with Clickbank, but I have not heard of this product in particular.

As soon as I saw the $10,000 a month claim, I already knew that this was a flat out scam! I think if that were real, everyone would be doing that.

Seeing as how you mentioned that they have their own tutorials, that makes me wonder what they teach in them. My guess is that it includes step by step transactions that you must make to them, haha.

The idea of signing up for this and having them do all of the work for you sounds way too good to be true, but sadly, many people still fall for this as I’d imagine.

My question is, how are you able to tell what Clickbank products are legitimate, as well as the illegitimate ones? What would be your advice for that to a new Clickbank user?

    Jerry Huang - January 24, 2018

    Hey Arie,

Thanks a lot for your comment and your great question.

Sadly, it may be hard to tell if a Clickbank product is legit for beginners. Clickbank has a pretty poor regulation on the products people are selling on their platform. That’s why some people say Clickbank is just a payment processing platform.

Ultimately, to determine if a Clickbank product is legit still requires some experience. For beginners, they should do their own research online for a product before purchasing. More experienced marketers will be able to tell immediately if a product is a scam. That’s why there are websites like this one to review products and expose scams.

But a general rule of thumb is to follow your own intuition. If you feel something is too good to be true or you feel they are hiding something from you, then stay away from the product. But if the product has a free trial or something like that, then just go ahead and test it out yourself.

Once again, thanks for this awesome question. I’m sure many others will benefit from your question as well!

I think Clickbank Pirates is pillaging and plundering poor innocent people who are new to the Online Marketing World!!! I got caught in one that was so bogus with all the downloads you could have and re-sell and so much more. NOT!!
Just didn’t happen just like this program won’t happen. Not in that time frame anyway. Oh wait, there is probably someone who will do that. Yes, how foolish of me. The owners of the site.
Thank you for sharing this information Jerry and I hope many people looking for honesty and a real way to earn online see this.

    Jerry Huang - January 24, 2018

    Hi Merry,
Thanks for your comment. It is so interesting!

A lot of programs out there today are just making use of the innocence of beginners. We can’t prevent them from happening. All we can do is to help as many people as we can to make a difference 🙂

sergio - January 24, 2018

How many of these exist online? Hundreds of hyped products that only target beginners since they are the most easy prays for marketers to make money with a product that either is very old or has very outdated resources.
Also many red flags like 60 money back guarantee and outrageous claims.
many of ClickBank products just are full of Up-sells and not many good strategies since this worked back in the 90s but a lot has changed online beginners don’t know this and tend to buy on empty promises.

    Jerry Huang - January 24, 2018

    Hey Sergio,

Totally agree with you. All they are relying on is the innocence and ignorance of beginners.

Javier Pineda - January 23, 2018

Great review. Is crazy how people can believe they can make money without the work lol. Thanks for opening our eyes!

    Jerry Huang - January 24, 2018

You’re welcome, Javier! Thank you for checking out and leaving a comment 🙂
