ClickBank University 2.0 Review (What they don’t reveal to you upfront!)

ClickBank has been a very well-known platform for both vendors and affiliate marketers to make money online for years. They had launched their first version of ClickBank University back in 2013 and 3 years later they've upgraded it to 2.0.

In this ClickBank University 2.0 review, I will reveal to you what they are not telling you upfront, despite being such a reputable company in the market.

I think that is very crucial to be exposed for anyone who want to invest in this...

(If you want to know what CBU 2.0 is not revealing to you upfront, you need to read to the end!)

They also have a set of course to guide people in affiliate marketing but the information is limited and outdated. In addition, CBU has a high-ticket upsell which they did not reveal to you upfront. So, take note of that!

ClickBank University is mainly for people who want to sell their own products. If you don't want to create your own product and simply promote other people's product (i.e. affiliate marketing), Wealthy Affiliate is my Top Recommended platform.

What is ClickBank University 2.0 about?

clickbank university 2.0 salespage

ClickBank University 2.0 Salespage featuring Adam Horwitz & Justin Atlan

ClickBank University 2.0 is an upgraded edition of a series of online course which aim at helping both vendors and affiliate marketers to utilize ClickBank and make money online.

If you're familiar with affiliate marketing, you should know that ClickBank is one of the largest affiliate marketplaces for selling digital products.

However, the main focus of ClickBank University is to teach people how to create their own digital products to sell on ClickBank.

Let's take a look at what you can expect from CBU 2.0...

What are the Resources included in CBU 2.0?

8-Week Training on Affiliate Marketing

Like I've said, CBU 2.0 has two main parts to their training. One of them is this 8-week course to teach people how to promote other people's product on ClickBank as an affiliate.

So, you don't need to create your own product and all you need to do is to promote other people's product and earn affiliate commissions.

(If this sounds good to you, you may be interested in this course.)

However, the problem with CBU 2.0 is that they put a lot less emphasis on the affiliate marketing part. So the training here is just decent or I would say below average because the information provided is very limited and not updated.

A much better place for you to learn affiliate marketing is at Wealthy Affiliate.

12-Week Training for Vendors

On the other hand, they put more emphasis on the training for vendors to help people create their own digital products to sell online.

The training here is quite extensive and informative. They cover a wide range of topics that include:

  • Brainstorming and researching on what niche to go into and what product to create
  • How to create a customer avatar
  • How to create a digital product
  • How to create a landing page/squeeze page
  • How to create a sales funnel
  • How to drive traffic to your landing page
  • How to get affiliates to promote your product
  • How to scale up your ClickBank business, etc...

So, if you have certain experience/knowledge to share with the world and you're interested in creating your own product, I would highly recommend ClickBank University 2.0 to you because you can really learn a lot of insider knowledge and skills from them.

By the way, all training is in a weekly step-by-step format with videos to watch and PDFs to read.

(I will cover the disadvantages to these training later on in this review)

Weekly Live Q&A Webinar with Adam & Justin

Adam and Justin offer a weekly Live Q&A webinar that allows members to ask any questions they have. Another thing is that the webinars are recorded so any member can watch them anytime they want.

This sounds like a good idea but usually there isn't a specific topic so the whole webinar will be very messy that is filled with random questions.

Also, I'm guessing this is one of their strategy to "hook" members to stay in the community and keep paying for the monthly fee of $47. If not, members can just cancel their membership once they've completed the courses, right?

Private CBU Facebook Support Group

For the support part, you'll have access to a CBU forum and their private Facebook group. The activeness and engagement within the forum and the group are decent. But their community is definitely not as active as the one I'm personally involved in.

Adam and Justin will personally participate in the discussion but its very seldom.

ClickBank Builder 2.0 (Upsell)

This is the catch and one of the things that they won't tell you upfront in their sales video.

clickbank university 2.0 upsell

They claim it the new software to help boost your business

ClickBank Builder 2.0 is a very useful tool to help you easily create professional websites, landing pages and offer pages.

It is a 'drag-and-drop' tool with various templates to help you craft beautiful pages.

However, the catch is that this is an upsell that costs $594. Although it is a lifetime access and you can have 2 payments of $297, it is way too expensive for a tool like this.

Personally, I'm using a powerful 'drag-and-drop' page builder called "Thrive Architect" which only cost $67 to purchase a license for one website.

thrive architect logo

Needless to say, ClickBank Builder 2.0 has its own advantage. It is created by ClickBank so you can easily integrate and customize it with your ClickBank offers.

However, the training at CBU 2.0 mainly focuses on using ClickBank Builder. This means that you need to purchase it if you're a beginner despite it is not a compulsory purchase.

If you don't purchase it, it'll be a lot harder for you to follow along with the training and implement what is taught.

Another thing is that once you start using ClickBank Builder, you need to host your website at ClickBank which means you need to continue paying them money and it's difficult for you to move your website elsewhere if you decide to leave CBU.

This is what I called a "website lock-in" issue.

CBU Toolkit (Upsell)

This is another thing you need to pay extra money for. To run a successful online business, you'll need a lot more tools and resources, such as your website domain, Email Service Provider (ESP), social media tools, etc.

CBU will direct you to all these different services through their affiliate links and make you purchase these additional stuffs because they are necessary.

Haven't Made Your First $1 Online?

Studies have shown that more than 70% of the people who want to make money online have not made their first dollar yet. So you're not alone!

Pros & Cons

The Good

1. Created by ClickBank for ClickBank

As you all know, ClickBank is a reputable platform for online marketers. There are thousands of people making full time or even six, seven figure income from it.

At the same time, there are people out there claiming themselves to be the experts in ClickBank. Judging from the course information they provide, I would recommend people who want to make money from ClickBank to learn directly from ClickBank, instead of other sources.

Adam and Justin have been very successful with ClickBank and thus they are working directly with CB to deliver this CBU. They really know what they are talking about.

2. 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee

This is another great point for CBU. Although they don't offer a free trial or a $1 trial anymore, you can still get a refund within 30 days if you find this program is not for you.

So, it's still similar to having a free trial knowing that you can get a refund anytime within 30 days.

It's basically a risk-free investment.

cbu 30-day money back guarantee

The Bad

1. Mainly for Vendors

Like I've said, there are a lot more information on creating and selling your own product than promoting other people's product. The training on the affiliate side is not really updated.

So, if you're looking to make money by promoting other people's products (i.e. affiliate marketing), I would say ClickBank University 2.0 is NOT for you. Instead, you should be looking at programs like Wealthy Affiliate University!

However, if you're interested in creating your own digital product (e.g. online courses, programs, membership site, eBooks, etc.) and selling it online, ClickBank University 2.0 is a good place for you to start. They have one of the best training for you.

2. Beware of ClickBank Builder 2.0

clickbank builder 2.0 upsell

ClickBank Builder 2.0 Upsell immediately after purchasing their membership

This has been discussed above but just let me recap on all the problems with ClickBank Builder 2.0:

  • It's expensive compared to other similar tools in the market
  • There's a "website lock-in" issue where you must host your website at ClickBank
  • The training focuses on using this tool so it will be a huge disadvantage if you purchased their training without purchasing this tool
  • They didn't told you upfront about this upsell but they're making it "necessary" for the course

3. A lot of Training is Locked

One more issue with their training, both the affiliate and the vendor side, is that you're not allowed to go through all the training videos once you join. They only allow you to watch few and they'll unlock each one for you after some time.

According to them, this is to avoid you from skipping any steps. However, it's really quite annoying for many people when they can't get access to everything even after they've paid the price.

I'm also guessing that this is one of their "secret strategy" to keep you longer inside the community so that you will pass the 30-Day Money-Back duration. (Just my personal opinion)

One solution for this will be to Email them and they'll help you unlock. However, this is definitely quite troublesome.

4. Low Quality Weekly Webinars

Like I've said earlier, their weekly webinars don't have a very clear topic so random questions just flew in anytime and the whole presentation was just very messy.

Another problem is that a lot of the questions asked are beginners questions. So, if you're more experienced, you won't find these webinars helpful.

5. Only Paid Traffic is Covered

One last disadvantage of CBU 2.0 is that they only teach you about paid traffic in their course. And the paid traffic they focus on are just Facebook Ads and Instagram Influencer Marketing.

They didn't cover the free traffic part so they totally missed out on methods like Search Engine Optimization (SEO), content marketing and free social media marketing.

In other words, you also need to invest money in paid traffic in addition to the monthly membership cost, ClickBank Builder cost and other essential tools' cost.

When you add everything together, you'll find that you're investing $1,000++ a year on CBU which doesn't guarantee you to see results within a certain period of time.

Only Facebook Ads and Instagram Shoutouts are covered

Is ClickBank University 2.0 a Scam?

ClickBank University 2.0 is definitely NOT a scam because there are real coaches with legit training resources to help you make money with ClickBank.

Just that the cost is a bit too high and the training is a bit too limited.

Like I've said, I would highly recommend people who are interested about creating your own products to give CBU a shot...

But for those who are more experienced and want to learn affiliate marketing, Wealthy Affiliate is the platform to go!

Hi Jerry. I’m from the Philippines but I live in Korea. I’m very interested in affiliate marketing. Do you think WA can help me get started and help me earn comissions even though I’m living in Asia? What I’m saying is I don’t really have a lot of connections outside Asia so I was wondering if affiliate marketing is for me. Thanks!

Hey Farrah! I’m Asian too and I don’t have lots of connections either. Affiliate Marketing is leveraging the internet. You can leverage the internet to reach people from all over the world. So you don’t have to worry about that. If you’re willing to put in the work and time, Affiliate Marketing can work for you for sure πŸ™‚

I am from India and I have already made an account in Wealthy Affiliate but the problem is:
“Hi Henry, Free Starter accounts are not available in your country, but we would love to have you as a Premium Member!”
I mailed also but no reply. I know it’s a trusted brand but I want to try first and see what else I need to start earning. I mean do I need a website or paid traffic that I need to invest in?

    Hi Henry,
    Thanks for reaching out.

But do you mean you’ve “tried” to create an account but it says you can only sign up for Premium?

If that’s the case, the only way is to go Premium directly. Another more complicated way is to use VPN, change your IP address and then try signing up for WA’s Free Starter Membership.

As for other things you need to invest in, you can start by creating free website in WA. Not need to pay for that in the beginning. And WA doesn’t focus on paid traffic so you don’t need to spend money on that as well. WA focuses on free targeted traffic via SEO. You’ll be guided on that as well.

I hope this helps. Let me know if you have anymore questions πŸ™‚

Thank you so much for a great article. But I personally like ClickBank and what they are offering through their course because as a newbie, it is overwhelming to learn affiliate marketing from the scratch. And that’s what you’ll get inside the course.

    Hey Faizan,

I agree with you that it’s overwhelming to learn affiliate marketing from scratch. And I believe ClickBank has its own valuable training and resources to teach you about affiliate marketing.

However, like I’ve mentioned in the review, ClickBank University 2.0 is more about teaching you how to sell on ClickBank. The training on the affiliate marketing part is not that comprehensive.

That’s why I recommend Wealthy Affiliate. I’m sure you’ll be amazed at the amount of training, resources and help you can get at Wealthy Affiliate if you give it a shot.

It’s free to join anyway, unlike CBU 2.0 where you need to pay upfront for the course.

I was thinking about taking them up on their last offer but unfortunately the website “lock-in issue” is a deal breaker for me. Almost $600 for access to a website builder. Whether it’s a one time fee or not should be a crime.

Other than that CBU seems like a great option for learning internet marketing. I follow their YouTube channel and they have some fun and informative videos.

Yup, you definitely don’t want to be restricted somewhere so I can understand why the “lock-in issue” is huge for not just you but many others as well. I didn’t know they have great videos on YouTube though, I should check them out!

Firstly, sorry about the long messages (this one included). I DO have a tendency to do that being a blogger/writer.

Next, If I knew how to attach a screen shot in this box I would. I could SHOW you what they are doing to me. I will look for a way to copy and paste one here for you shortly. I do have some responses to what you told me.

As for the support, IF you are a current member, I DO agree, the support is great. Once you LEAVE, it is like the Arizona desert. You are the tumbleweed blowing across it. Nothing is heard or seen for as far as you can see or hear, just the whistling through the cacti.

The information you have my friend I am sad to say you are misinformed. I would LOVE to be ABLE to agree with you. I REALLY WOULD. But I can’t. I was wrong on the name calling it Gold over Premium. You are right on the name. It was $379.00 or $359.00. If it is over $350.00 I rounded up. It is closer to $400 than $300.

WA gives you two sites that uses sublinks. When I say sub-links I mean that they make you go into their servers of (for example as I can’t remember their links off the top of my head as I use so many now) say http://www.whatsiteisit.mysite.wealthyaffiliate.com or something like that where it gets routed somewhere before it goes to your site as you are using their main link and it is rerouted to you through them.

That does not happen when you buy your domain. I NEVER pay as high as you mentioned of $14.99 to $18.99. I use Blue Host as my new host and the most I have ever paid there is $11.99 and the outside of the free ones they gave me in the initial buying of the package as one of their selling points.

I have even paid as little as $4.00 for them there. There is no sub-links or rerouting to and through the servers which not only slows you down some but leaves you a little more vulnerable to cyber attacks. I am computer security literate and take that very serious as I have a U.S. patent and work on the computer at times.

I did nothing wrong for the transfer of my site. I am well educated in the use of these systems. I HAD Kyle email me and say it would be forwarded but it never came to me. He never responded back to me when I told him that. In fact, he never responded to me in the first place. He responded to Enom when they went to him. Support tells you this as a non member (copy and paste.. like just about everything else)

“Hey There Michael!

You currently do not have access to the Members Area because your Premium membership is closed. To enable your account and regain full access to all of your information, please resubscribe by clicking the button below!”

That includes reaching out to members to ask for help with this situation too.

You know what is funny? Right now as I go to WA to get the info for my site, some of it has changed. The ENTIRE site has been wiped out and replaced. I guess WA DELETED it or domain shield did. I do not have ANY of my products on it. It was not even a valid link the last time I went to open it. Now it DOES open and shows a damn flower pot. It shows WA servers holding it again at the WA site which I changed several times to the BLUE HOST servers and Enom told them to LEAVE alone and in 10 days they would automatically lock in or something of the sort but of course that did not work either.

If I can secure the dot com under my name then I will let all of this go away as my 3 patent pending items need a landing page soon for investors to check out.

I was working with “Teddy Bear” Chris in WA. I hope he is doing better he was very sick the last time I talked with him. He knew of the problems I was having. Some of them anyway. We lost touch when he had a stroke and needed to recover.

    Hi Mike,

First of all, I have been with WA for years and I’am getting good results. So you definitely have no rights to say that I’m misinformed or anything like that. Just because you had some problems for your site in WA, it doesn’t mean WA has the full responsibility for it. I’ll explain later. But to be honest, I must say you’re the one that’s misinformed.

Let me ask you a question, why do you think WA should offer non-members the same kind of support as members? WA has lots of members. It doesn’t make sense for them to personally help if you are not their member already.

In fact, WA has made it very clear that you should transfer your website to your own hosting before you cancel its membership. They have no responsibility to help you host and keep the site after you’ve left WA.

So that’s why you’re having difficulty getting your website to transfer to other places. You even complained that WA may have deleted your website. Like I’ve said, it’s totally your fault because they’ve explicitly said that you need to transfer your website to other hosting before you leave. So I don’t see there’s any problem with WA for that issue.

It’s not called “sublink”. It’s called “subdomain website”. What’s wrong with sub-domain website? Wealthy Affiliate offers 2 sud-domain website for FREE if you’re a starter member and WA’s subdomain website looks something like this: YOURDOMAIN.siterubix.com

Seriously, what’s wrong with sub-domain websites? They’re free. They’re a good choice for beginners to get started at very little cost. If you want to have your own domain, just purchase it within WA Site Domain platform. It’s very straight-forward.

If you see any other places offering free websites, they’re probably doing the same thing – offering sub-domain website. Just from this point alone, I can see that you’re clearly misinformed, aren’t you?

As for the price, different companies offer different packages. WA’s hosting is provided within the membership cost. So why are you comparing? I really don’t understand. WA offers FREE SSL Certificate for all Premium website hosted there. This SSL Certificate can easily cost hundreds of dollars per year for other hosting.

Once again, you’re facing problem with transferring your site because you’re not following their rules and instructions. If they’ve explicitly told you that you need to transfer your website out before you leave but you didn’t do so, who’s fault is that?

Why do you think they should allow you into the member’s area when you’ve cancelled your membership? I really don’t get it.

Seriously, I understand how frustrating it is when you have this kind of problem. But instead of blaming others and complaining about WA, why not reflecting on yourself first? I’m sure you’re the one that’s misinformed in this case. I hope you can now see the reality here.

I’m sorry if I’m a bit rude here. But I’m just tired of negative people who just keep complaining without reflecting on themselves. Sorry about that but that’s the impression you gave me.

    Jerry

While you talk about ClickBank holding the website “hostage” so to speak if an affiliate or vendor wanted to host their website somewhere else other than ClickBank, Do you know that for a fact? Do you know of this first-hand?

I DO know Wealthy Affiliates first-hand as I WAS a member for 1 year. I used 3 websites through them and I was successful BEHIND the scenes with networking and connecting with people but there I did not get the help I needed or wanted. It wasn’t like I did not reach out to others either but the worst part of being there is right now over a year later.

I own my own physical brick and mortar business called Love Lights(c)LLC. I HAD a website of http://www.lovelightsllc.com BEFORE WA and registered it until 2019 purposely in case something like this potentially did happen.

Sadly, it has and still IS going on. When I finally decided to leave WA and not renew at the roughly $400 gold member membership price, WA changed the websites email holder to no longer for example to be mike@lovelightsllc.com but to mike@domainshield.com. I have had several agencies contact the owners of WA to rectify this plan and I have even been emailed directly saying that they have “fixed the problem”.

As you may or may not know, to transfer a site you need to get the EPP code and then point the servers at the new host. The NEW host is then to send you a validation code that is ONLY accepted at the website email address to which is taken over by domainshield.com. Since THEY hold access to that email. I am locked out of the website. I cannot verify their validation code. I cannot point the servers at the site. I contacted WA again, now, there is no response.

None to me or to Enom who was fighting for me and BlueHost who is also fighting for me. Blue Host charged me over $150 LESS for hosting and total control of my sites and for unlimited domain monitoring and maintenance too.

Compare that to the WA services and I felt it was better for me to save the cash since the site was mine in the first place. They also locked two other sites I was using for affiliate marketing.

If they can do that to me, who else have they done it to? I have not heard any reviews for CLickBank except this one and it IS good to know they ALSO have hidden fees.

Have you checked out the Inbox Blueprint by founded by Anik Sengal? I am doing this now and making GOOD money at it teaching others things I know like the back of my head.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder my friend. Good luck in your WA business. Maybe YOU can get my websites unlocked and get me my validation codes so I can keep my .com and get back to selling my patented toy bears (U.S. patent #8,376,807) and to introduce the 3 patent pending toy lines.

I have to wait to do that and it is costing me money that soon will turn into a legal battle if it makes me miss my launch day due to this. I have been working on this since December and currently have stopped “chasing it down” as other deadlines are getting passed over because of them.

I had to catch up to go back to that and you just reminded me of it. I am going to go follow up on that right after I post this to you. I doubt that you will allow this to go public anyway. If you don’t maybe you can show this to someone that CAN get me back into my old website’s email and get it away from domainshield.

If I can get into it and get my validation code so the new servers will get pointed to the site or vice versa (however it works) then I will go away quietly into the night (lol.. sounds like an old horror movie to me) but seriously.

You could help me a million times over if you could find out how to get through this domain shield issue that WA has put on me.

THEY SAY they have put a forward on the website but that did not solve the validation code. I have never received one when one was sent. Not in an inbox, trash or spam box. Not in a forward or direct to my personal email that they said it was sent to of azpatriot36@yahoo.com.

Outside of this MAJOR issue, I enjoyed the people I met at WA, the videos and the learning I did there too. I found I could gather more information on my own for the tools were, average to me and if you upgrade they became much much better.

It CAN be worked with the basics but it will take you a long time to get them working using a host sublinked website and just 2 before you have to pay for your domains which one should want to do even for the 1st two so you do not have the long sublink. I wouldn’t buy from a sublink. I would think it is a trap or a “sneaky” website more so than a “trusted” dot com site. That is why it is ALWAYS worth paying the $11.99 or $12.99 for the domain registration, for the MILLIONS of people like me in the computer security field.

Hey Mike, this is a really really long message. I’ll try to address your problems as much as possible. I’ll answer them in sequence.

First of all, I’m not saying you MUST host your website at ClickBank. But if you’ve started building website using their Builder tool, it’s hard for you to move it somewhere else, not because they hold “hostage” to your website. It’s because the contents are built in such a way that it can only be shown properly using their Builder. When you move your website to somewhere else, you have to spend a lot of time re-doing all the content to make it look visually appealing. You get my point here? This is just like many other content/page builders. Once you stop using the plugin, your content is no longer readable.

I’m sure there are some misconception because it’s impossible to no getting help in Wealthy Affiliate. If you have issue with your website, WA’s 24/7 Site Support team will respond to you pretty fast. Most of the time within a couple of minutes. If you have other issues, Kyle and Carson are there to help as well despite it may take a longer time for them to reply.

WA doesn’t have a “Gold Membership” that cost $400. They only have Free Starter Membership and Premium Membership. Premium Membership is $49/month or $359/year.

I’m sure you can always create your business Email address using your website domain name. It always is the case. So I’m not sure what domain shield you’re talking about.

Once again, I have no idea what you’re talking about the domain shield regarding your website transfer.

Wealthy Affiliate never lock any website. As long as you have purchased your own domain name, it’s yours 100%. For hosting, WA doesn’t charge any additional charge for web hosting. It’s included in the membership price which I mentioned earlier on. If you’re referring to the domain name, one domain name costs around $14 to $16 per year. So I really don’t know what’s the expensive hosting you’re talking about.

Additionally, for all the websites hosted at Wealthy Affiliate, you can enjoy their various site features, such as spam protection, site speed and even FREE SSL Certificate. SSL Certificates are usually a paid service in other hosting platforms.

Yes, I’ve checked out Anik Singals’s Inbox Blueprint. It is a legit program and I’ve written an Inbox Blueprint review here!

I’ve no idea what website locking issue are you talking about. If you could give me more information, maybe I can help.

Why would I not let this comment go public? I’m a completely honest person and I respond to all comments including criticisms. (Except spams!) And I am 100% confident with Wealthy Affiliate so why would I hide anything?

Please tell me more about the domain shield thing because it’s the first time I came across this term. I’m very familiar with WA’s hosting and their custom Email. There’s no problem with their system. It’s most probably you have some misconceptions or you’ve done something wrong.

I have no doubt if you follow the proper procedure to get help within WA community, you won’t encounter any problem that cannot be fixed. You may not agree with me or think I;m just too ignorant or innocent. But there’s no doubt that many WA members are having successes including myself.

So WA works. If it doesn’t work for you, it’s probably you’re doing something wrong.

And lastly, what “sublink website” are you referring to? Are you talking about “Suddomain websites”? Suddomain websites are free so I don’t understand why you said you don’t want to “buy from a sublink”…

From your comment, I can see that you really have some misconceptions. If you could provide more information, maybe I could help. But I’m not understanding a lot of things you’re talking here because many of them just don’t exist in WA.

I hope this answers your questions!

Hello, I have a few question if you could help me please!

I came across ClickBank. Basically I studied how to make money online from like 6 months now and never got started, and I almost started with ClickBank. But first of all I don’t want to make my own products. I want to do affiliate thing until I can make my own products and sell them.

I have a question though, is it true that they make like 6-7 figure a year from affiliate marketing? And also what you need to do afterward when you have more than $2K in your account? Do you need to setup a business account at the bank because I heard that when you start making money they will block it till you have the business setup.

My last question is, should I take the wealth academy? I need to say I need training like from the basic. I’m pretty new to this thing. Or can you recommend me something until I can get the WH academy? I really appreciate your answer, thank you very much πŸ™‚

    Hey Herman,

First of all, thanks for your comment and your questions. I’m more than happy to answer them for you πŸ™‚

    1) You don’t need to create your own product if you don’t want. Affiliate marketing allows you to sell other people’s products and still earn good money if done right.

    2) It’s totally possible to make 6-7 figure a year with affiliate marketing. There are a lot of full-time marketers enjoying a good life with that. But it’s not as easy as it seems on the surface. There are a lot of things to learn and a lot of hard work is involved. But to be honest, the reward is worth the hustle.

    3) For the bank account, I don’t think it’s necessary to set up a business account or something. I’m not really familiar with the banking system and the rule just yet. But a lot of my friends are doing well with normal bank accounts if I’m not wrong. Anyway, most of the time, your affiliate commission will be paid to your PayPal account first. After that, you can then transfer it to your own bank account if you need the money.

    4) For your last question, I’m not sure what’s the “Wealthy Academy” or “WH Academy” you’re talking about. I suppose you’re talking about Wealthy Affiliate? Anyway, I understand that you’re looking for a place to get a basic step-by-step training to help you get started on doing the real thing. So, I do recommend you to sign up with Wealthy Affiliate. It’s a platform which will provide you with step-by-step training from scratch, teaching you how to set up your own website, things like that. It’s Free to get started, so I’ll see you in the community soon!

I can personally help you from there onward inside the WA community πŸ™‚

Hi Jerry,
For the business model Wealthy Affiliate is using, is it focusing on making our site rank in Search Engines

OR

Do they teach us how to to get leads and market the products by email marketing?

Thanks!

    Hi Hyzel,
The main training focuses on SEO which is ranking our websites in search engines to get Free targeted traffic. That’s the main strategy WA focuses on. But there are also supplement training and webinar which teaches members on things like Email marketing and lead generation πŸ™‚

I hope this answers your question!

I came across this ClickBank university, recently during the summer of 2017. I am not sure if it was the updated version but, I am glad you reviewed this product. I almost signed up with them, thinking that they would actually provided answers to building a business. For some reason, I changed my mind. Probably because, I knew it had a catch to it somewhere. And, after reading this article. I can clearly see why I did not sign up.

I am already involved with Wealthy Affiliate, and they are an awesome company. I see you recommend Thrive Architect as a page builder. Is that a year fee or a one time fee? and do I have to have technical skills to use this product? I look forward to your response…Have an awesome day!

    Hi Lakisha,
In summer of 2017, CBU should be the updated version already. Anyway, glad you didn’t sign up for it.

If you purchase Thrive Architect this plugin alone, it’ll be a one-time fee. However, there’s an option for you to purchase their membership which allows you to gain access to all Thrive plugins and themes (this is a very good deal in my opinion). In this case, it will be either a quarterly fee or a yearly fee depending on your choice. Thrive Themes does provide a lot of training and support to help its customers so don’t worry that you don’t have the technical skill to use it. It’s all drag and drop. They make it so simple that anyone can handle it.

I hope this answers your question!

Hi Jerry, Yes I never really went through this academy but I went through a similar one, JVZoo Academy. I ended up spending $300 + on the tools and website/landing page builder which was horrible and didn’t host anything. I needed to buy hosting for that.

I will admit that it was quite in-depth if you wanted to create products and sell them on JVZoo but that was not my intention. They do this obviously because they make money from content builders, not affiliates.

I was considering giving ClickBank University a try but now that I see it is pretty much the same I will just pass.

    Hi Damian,
I don’t have experience in JVZoo although I’ve heard of it. Thanks for sharing your experience. I may test it out and write a review on it another day. Anyway, it seems similar to what ClickBank University 2.0 is offering so I’m glad that my review helps clear this for you. All the best πŸ™‚

I saw a webinar a few years ago with ClickBank University and to tell you the truth I was very impressed. But like you said what I realized was that they are really expensive. Nevertheless, many members have said how ClickBank has made them some really good money. I agree with you, the Wealthy Affiliate University platform has the best online training by far.

    Hey Norman,
Wealthy Affiliate University definitely has a lot more thorough training for affiliate marketers but there’s no training for merchants in WA. So, for those interested in being a merchant and sell their own products online, they should definitely follow CBU 2.0!

Thank you for your brilliant description.
If I have a product to sell, the ClickBank University 2.0 would be suitable for me, wouldn’t it?
If I want to promote someone’s product, the Wealthy Affiliate would be a good choice, wouldn’t it?
