What is Jeunesse?

Jeunesse is a health, wellness & skincare Multi-Level Marketing (MLM) company, founded by Wendy Lewis & Randy Ray in 2009.

Their mission is this...

"The Jeunesse Family creates positive impact in the world by helping people look & feel young, while empowering each other to unleash our potential."

In other words, they focus on selling Anti-aging products and also the network marketing business opportunity for members to make money.

Some Background Info...

Prior to creating Jeunesse, Wendy Lewis & Randy Ray were also the founder of another network marketing company called Fuel Freedom International

They sell micro-thin coating known as "MPG-CAPS" which claimed to help vehicles burn fuel more efficiently and thus reduce gas consumption.

In the end, people found out that it didn't work.

Weird enough, Wendy & Randy changed from selling MPG-CAPS to face creams which has no link at all. But that's just what they're doing right now.

The good thing about Jeunesse is that they're growing really fast.

They have achieved over US$1.4 Billion in annual sales in 2016, one of the fastest growing MLM company.

Due to their exponential growth, that's also how they managed to get themselves into so many controversies, media attention and even tons of lawsuits which I'll go into more details in a second.

Jeunesse Product Line

  3. NV (Stands for "Envy") ($55.95) - Perfecting mist facial spray to give you an enviable, professional airbrush finish
  4. AM & PM Essentials ($139.95) - Dietary multivitamin supplements take in the morning & evening
  5. RESERVE ($137.95) - Antioxidant fruit juice
  6. FINITI ($144.95 ~ $289.95) - Another supplement
  7. ZEN Bodi ($21.95 ~ $399.95) - An extremely expensive health drink with some fruits & plants extract
  8. M1ND ($137.95) - Ddietary supplement clinically shown to support memory and reduce mental distraction

To be honest with you, there are definitely nutritional value in these products.

Some of them are even clinically-proven & science-based.

I get it.

But seriously, they're just hyped-up and overpriced products.

Their nutritional value and benefits aren't worth the price for sure!

How to Make Money with Jeunesse?

This is the most controversial part...

Since Jeunesse is running on a MLM business model, when you sponsor a person into the business you get paid on the product pack they purchase.

There are 6 different ways you can make money in Jeunesse which I'll go through in a second.

But let's take a look at what it really takes for you to be eligible for the money...

Requirements (Financial Burden Warning!)

In order for you to become their independent distributor and make money, these are the steps you need to go through...

First of all, you'll need to pay a $49.95 upfront fee to purchase your "Starter Kit".

The good thing is that this is the only fee for you to start promoting Jeunesse products.

But, they'll strongly encourage or even push you to purchase other product packages which can cost all the way up to $1,800.

According to them, you'll be able to "jump-start" your business and have a good head-start by purchasing such package.

Most importantly, your upline/sponsor will earn a commission once you purchase this. So, they'll definitely encourage you to purchase.

WARNING: Without a clear mind and just blindly follow what people say is the fastest way for you to get into even deeper DEBT in such MLM!

That's NOT the end...

There's a $19.95/year renewal fee and you MUST order a minimum of $85 worth of products every month for you to be an "active" distributor and be eligible for commission (if any).

Can you start to see why a lot of people slowly lost a lot of money and got themselves further into debt?

Seriously, starting a business of your own doesn't need to be so expensive, especially the internet is so powerful today.

P.S. This program that has enabled me to generate a 4-Figure Monthly Passive Income at just 21 years old is FREE to get started and only cost $49/month fee to go full-time!

Jeunesse Compensation Plan

There are 6 main ways for you to earn commission in Jeunesse:

  1. Retail Profit - 35% commission from each retail product sale
  2. New Customer Acquisition Bonus - $25 ~ $250 bonus when new downline purchase any of the jump-start packages
  3. Team Commissions - based on the binary compensation plan concept, earn commission based on the performance of your 2 downline teams
  4. Leadership Matching Bonus - Bonus reward for helping your downline to achieve certain ranks
  5. Customer Acquisition Incentive - Get higher Matching Bonus commission percentage by recruiting even more people within a certain period of time
  6. Leadership Bonus Pool - Get a percentage from the company's profit sharing once you achieve certain leadership ranks

As you can see, I'm trying my best to breakdown everything in the simplest way possible for you to understand.

But the most important thing you need to know for their compensation plan is this...

If you want to join Jeunesse and run this business, be prepared to do a lot of face-to-face selling and most importantly - Recruiting!!

For the detailed compensation plan, please check out their compensation plan PDF or watch the demonstration video below:

Jeunesse Ugly Truths Revealed!

1. Pyramid Scheme in Disguise

No matter you like it or not, agree it or not, Jeunesse Global is a pyramid scheme in disguise in my opinion.

Here's why...

According to FTC, a company can be considered as a pyramid scheme if the entire business is focusing on recruiting members into the system rather than offering real products & services.

Some of you might disagree with me because Jeunesse has its own products.

Yes, I get it.

That's why I'm not saying Jeunesse IS a pyramid scheme. I'm just saying it's "in disguise"!

Despite having those "seemingly good" but overpriced products, their entire business model is focusing a lot on recruiting people because that's where most of the money is made.

Just take a look at what Kim Hui, one of the top earners in Jeunesse has to say (you'll be shocked!)...

is jeunesse a pyramid scheme

The First Thing We Do is Recruit!

"So first thing we’ve got to do is go out there and recruit... We’re building a distribution channel if you would and so what we do – the first thing we do is recruit. What do we recruit? We recruit entrepreneurs...

And the second thing we do is that we teach other people how to recruit because this business is all about duplication. It’s not about one person selling all the time cause that’s linear income, you know, trading time for money. But this business model is about building distribution and about creating wealth...

And then the third thing we do is we teach other people on how to teach other people and so that’s when true duplication happens... With wealth, with the money would be – we are paid to build our distribution network."

KIM HUI  //  Jeunesse Top Earner

Isn't this evidence strong enough to prove that Jeunesse is all about recruiting people?

That's not the end...

Australian authority has already taken action against Jeunesse as they consider it as a pyramid scheme.

That's why I said if you want to enter this business, get ready to do lots of face-to-face selling and most importantly - Recruiting!

By the way, I'm not saying recruiting is always bad. Nope!

Recruiting is a good way to build a sustainable business. BUT, that's only when you adopt the right recruiting techniques & mindset.

Here's the thing...

When everyone enters this business because of the money and not because of the product, this business is not going to be sustainable.

That's why when you're evaluating a MLM company, the first thing you need to consider is that if the "money" is taken out of the equation, are there lots of people willing to join the company just because they love the products?

If there are, then it's probably a good MLM business. Then the next step is to analyze the compensation plan of that company.

2. Stockpiling

In order for you to be an active distributor and qualify for commission, you need to have a minimum monthly order of 100PV, which is roughly equivalent to $85.

However, if you can't sell enough products and meet that requirement, your upline will definitely ask you to purchase those products yourself so that you are still active.

I've even heard that you need to purchase those products first and then retail them to people.

That's when you start to accumulate inventory in your house.

I've met a guy desperately trying to sell his AM/PM Essentials because he has quite a lot of stocks at home.

That's when some people will resort to selling on Amazon things like that.

To be honest, a real legitimate MLM should not cause its members to have this stockpiling problem.

That's the fastest way for innocent people to get further into debt because they just keep purchasing products to meet the requirement.

This is horrible!

3. Extremely Expensive

As you can see from the product pricing I've listed above, those products are definitely overpriced.

It roughly costs $45~$300 just for a month's supply of ONE single product.

Can you see how running Jeunesse as a business can be a huge financial burden for many people, especially when they're just starting out?

4. FALSE Health/Income Claims

Horrible things don't end there...

Through my research, there are quite a number of distributors giving inappropriate and unsubstantiated health claims.

For example, there are distributors claiming the Jeunesse products can cure cancer, lower blood pressure and other serious illness, which is definitely inappropriate because Jeunesse products are not evaluated by Food and Drug Administration...

jeunesse scam
is jeuness global a scam

There's a huge database of distributors' FALSE health claims here!

Jeunesse does disclose that their products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.

So, this is not really the company's fault. But this can show the lack of proper training to help distributors promote their products legitimately.

Apart from the inappropriate health claims, there are also distributors using deceptive income claims to promote this business.

Again, it's totally Jeunesse's fault but the problem goes back to their training!

5. Lawsuits After Lawsuits

To date, there are at least 16 lawsuits filed against Jeunesse, including 2 Class-Action lawsuits. (Source: TINA.org)

These are facts and they require no further explanation.

My question to you now is that would you want to be involved in such company?

6. Many People FAILED!

Last but not least, the success rate and income potential is really nothing attractive if you study their income disclosure statement:

jeunesse income disclosure

Jeunesse US Income Disclosure 2014

This US Income Disclosure in 2014 reflected that more than 85% of the members are earning an average of $213.92 PER YEAR!

You may say that's outdated.

Let's take a look at Jeunesse Canada Income Disclosure in 2017:

jeunesse scam review

Jeunesse Canada Income Disclosure 2017

Again, more than 83% of the members are earning an average of $248 PER YEAR!

This implies that the money is all with people at the top of the pyramid...

The Good Things About Jeunesse...

Okay, enough of the cons. Jeunesse still has its value...

1. Booming Market

Jeunesse has done a right decision and that is to enter the anti-aging market which is expected to be a $200 Billion market by 2019.

That's why Jeunesse still has its advantage in terms of the market it is in.

2. Exponential Growth

This is something we should commend Jeunesse for...

Jeunesse is the only direct selling company listed in INC 500's 2016 List of Fastest Growing Privately Held Companies.

Also, it's the only company on the list to post $1 Billion USD in annual revenue in 2016.

Like I've mentioned in the beginning, it actually hit $1.4 Billion in 2016 which is a great achievement.

3. Science-Based Products

Jeuenesse claims their products to be science-based because they've done a lot of research in stem cells, DNA repair and antioxidant.

I agree that their skincare products are unique due to all the research.

But the problem is that they're trying to make people think all of their products are science-based, which is not true.

Those research are only for those skincare & anti-aging products.

On the other hand, those supplements are actually just a bunch of overpriced multivitamin products.

So, that's another issue you should be aware of.

Is Jeunesse a Scam?

Nope, Jeunesse is not a scam at the moment.

The reason I said "at the moment" because it cannot be considered as an official scam until FTC confirms it.

Just look at the number of lawsuits they're having and all the complaints about being a pyramid scheme, it's a clear sign that no matter how good the products may be, we should stay away from this company at all cost.

Who knows when will they be shut down? It can happen anytime!

A quick example is MOBE & Digital Altitude...

They were once very popular and seem like many people are making good money.

But since they're operating like a pyramid scheme, eventually they got shut down by FTC and people involved in the businesses were all shocked because everything happened so fast.

Suddenly, for many of them, their entire business and income source is going.

It's a very serious issue and it's a good lesson we all should learn at the same time!

Also, I said that you can actually age faster despite having all these anti-aging product from Jeunesse because of the huge financial burden you will most likely be going through once you join them.

So, I'm definitely not recommending this!

How I Make a Living Online...

I've reviewed many MLM companies before.

To be honest, the health & wellness niche is really saturated with all the companies like Norwex, Melaleuca, Shaklee, Essante Organics, etc...

They may have slightly different approaches but ultimately the business models are all very similar.

Personally, my top recommended business model for anyone to make money online is Affiliate Marketing!

The reason is simple...

  • You don't need to recruit people and do all the face-to-face selling
  • You can promote any products you like and not restricting to only promote the products from one MLM company

In fact, through Affiliate Marketing...

I've personally created a 4-Figure Monthly Passive Income Stream and become financially independent at just 21 years old without any College degree or working experience!

Through my own hard work, I went from a broke restaurant waiter to living my dream laptop lifestyle in less than a year's time...
