If someone told you about a paid survey site that doesn't pay out real cash, you must've thought they were crazy. But one site exists. 

And that is Bizrate Rewards!

First of all, I must Congratulate you for taking your time to do your own research before buying into any "seemingly good" product.

That's the way to avoid scams and find the legitimate way to make money online!

Let me be completely transparent with you, I'm not associated with Bizrate Rewards in any form.

So, rest assured that I'm not here to pitch or sell anything to you.

Instead, I'm here to reveal why Bizrate Rewards is not your ordinary paid survey intermediary site, and why they work the way they do. 

Is Bizrate Rewards a scam, or is it going to help you earn money?

Bizrate Rewards is, in its very essence, a paid survey intermediary site. In other words, people get paid to complete surveys from their company.  

And as the name implies, it’s a sister company of Bizrate, an online shopping site. Both are highly independent from one another.

Bizrate’s parent company, Connexity Inc., claims that they’ve been offering for more than 15 years.

The company was founded by Henri Asseily and Farhad Mohit, with its company headquarters located in Los Angeles, California.

Despite being a paid survey site, it’s actually a 3^rd party market research company that gathers customer opinions on products and services.

When companies want to determine what their target market is, or to identify who the people they want to sell to, they go to market research companies like Bizrate Rewards to gather data for them.

Another company that works exactly like Bizrate Rewards is GrabPoints, which is also a market research and lead generation company under the guise of a GPT site.

So, the next time you’re filling out a survey on one of these GPT or paid survey sites, note that they are getting your information to do with it how they please.

Just like GPT rewards and paid survey sites like BigSpot, SurveySay, and Click 4 Surveys, they will pay their participants for responding to survey questions.

It’s a lot easier said than done though, and as we go through the reviews, you’ll find out why this site and like any other GPT rewards and paid survey sites.

To sign up for the site, you must be invited by filling out a survey or making a purchase from one of their retail partners on their shopping site, Bizrate.

Once you’ve joined and received your Bizrate Rewards Login, you’ll be asked to complete your profile.

You’ll be asked to fill in fields like name, email, date of birth, employment details, and other household-related questions.

You may think that the information request is invasive, but this is necessary for Bizrate Rewards to establish your demographic group so you’ll be matched with relevant surveys.

Bizrate Rewards allows you to complete surveys, which are around 20 to 30 minutes long and pays anywhere between 5 and 5000 points.

Through their point system, you’ll be able to convert these points into gift cards.

That’s right, folks. You’re not going to get any cash from this site, but instead, you get gift cards.

For every 5000 points, you earn a $5 gift card, which you can redeem any time.

There’s only one way for anyone to earn points via Bizrate Rewards, and that is to complete and participate in surveys.

So, there’s no watching videos, no downloading and installing apps, and no completing sales offers to get points here.

For each survey you complete, you’re getting between 50 to 1000 points per activity, depending on the length and subject matter.

The amount of points you earn are revealed at the start of each survey, so you’ll know if it’s worth spending time or not.

You’ll receive invitations to complete surveys up to 2 times per week. But as a member, you’ll then be able to decide on the preferred frequency for contact.

For each 1000 points you earn, it’s equal to $1, so if a survey pays out 500 points, you just earned $0.50.

Bizrate Rewards claims that their survey payouts are between 5 and 5000 points, and while you may not see a lot of these 5-point surveys, you won’t see a lot of 5000-point surveys either.

The pay is lower than average, but the good news is that the minimum payout is lower than average as well.

Members can redeem their gift cards as soon as they reach the $5.00 mark (or 5000 points).

These points can then be traded in for various retail and restaurant e-Gift cards from big brands like Amazon and Starbucks.

Bizrate Rewards is only offered to US residents. As mentioned earlier, you only need to be invited to get into the program.

There’s no sign-up fee or any hidden costs at all.

Like a lot of the online GPT rewards site and paid survey sites, the payout is incredibly low.

Bizrate Rewards is for you if:

1. You don’t mind getting paid in gift cards
2. You have the time to fill out 20 to 30 minute surveys

Bizrate Rewards is not for you if:

1. You are actually expecting to make real money from this site
2. You are looking for a full-time income online by doing surveys

Let’s pretend that it’s actually okay for you to spend 30 minutes of your time to work your way towards a $5 gift card.

You’re not getting a lot of points for each survey, and some of them take more than 30 minutes on average.

One member even complained about having the survey points being reduced after she turned in for a $5 gift card.

Now, this could’ve been just coincidental and she got low paying surveys in succession. But if this actually happens, then people are going to get angry.

This is probably the biggest turnoff for any paid survey or GPT rewards site.

Unlike majority of the paid survey intermediaries out there, you’re not going to be earning any real money with Bizrate Rewards.

Who am I kidding?

No one ever earns real money with GPT Rewards or paid survey sites? If you’re looking for a full-time income online, you might as well go look at affiliate marketing.

Another complaint about the site is that there’s no dashboard whatsoever when you log into Bizrate Rewards.

This makes it impossible for you to check surveys that you’ve completed or even get notified about the ones that are available for you.

Instead, you have to wait for them to email you that there’s a survey up for grabs.

As for their app, the app shut down in 2016 due to a number of problems. This was announced on their official Facebook page.

While it’s good that they prevented something disastrous, it was one less avenue that members could’ve used to complete surveys.

Some members got tricked into participating for a $100 gift card after making a purchase online, and then some were offered a magazine subscription that they didn’t even want.

Unfortunately, this is a common scenario used by Bizrate Rewards to get people to sign up.

The $100 survey is a lie because the company doesn’t pay out in cash.

Then there were others who reported that the “free” part of the magazine subscription is also a deceptive ad because it lets the members handle the $2 fee per magazine.

Also, if you don’t unsubscribe before the allotted time, your credit card gets deducted for the subscription that you didn’t want in the first place.

The e-Gift Cards selection from Bizrate Rewards is what probably makes it appealing to a lot of people.

The fact that they’re receiving free money intended for stores like Amazon, Walmart, Apple, and Target may actually motivate some people to go through a lot of surveys to make it worth their while.

Bizrate Rewards is not a scam, and it’s one of those legitimate paid survey sites that actually compensates their customers for their time, but in the form of a gift card.

But I cannot recommend this to anyone who’s looking to take part in their program, and I’ll explain why.

First, there’s no REAL CASH involved. You’re not getting paid via PayPal or via bank transfers, so there goes your chance of turning this into a sideline or a part-time gig for cash.

Second, the payout per survey is low compared to other sites. On top of low paying surveys, there’s that matter of still being emailed the surveys, so you just can’t login to their site and complete surveys as you please.

This makes it one of the biggest factors why their surveys pay out lower than other survey sites.

Third, there’s no dashboard or app, so there’s no way for you to keep updated with your points or the available surveys for you to take.

Lastly, they make use of deceptive advertising to trick people into signing up for a magazine subscription. This is problematic because it involves credit cards and automatic monthly payments.

Don’t forget that customers will also pay the $2 handling fee for each magazine they receive.
