Is ARIIX a Scam? – A Much Better MLM Than Many Others!

Welcome to my ARIIX review!

Chances are, your friend or family member has just shared with you this amazing opportunity called "ARIIX", claiming that they have incredible health products and you can get rich simply by sharing those great products with your friends.

No matter how you came across ARIIX, I must Congratulate you for taking your time to do your own research before buying into any "seemingly good" product or business opportunity.

That's the way to avoid scams and find the legitimate way to make money online!

To be completely transparent with you, I'm not associated with ARIIX in any form.

So, rest assured that I'm not here to pitch or sell anything to you.

Instead, I've reviewed hundreds of money-making opportunities and I'm here to give you an unbiased 3rd party review for ARIIX.

Is ARIIX a scam? Is it a pyramid scheme? Should I invest my time and money into this company?

Let me reveal to you some of the ugly truths you really need to know about ARIIX before taking out your credit card...

ARIIX is an Utah-based health & wellness Multi-Level Marketing (MLM) company selling those typical dietary supplements, personal care, weight loss products, etc...

They have a pretty experienced leadership team because most of their founders were ex-senior executives of another health & wellness MLM company called USANA Health Sciences.

Talking about USANA, it's a well-established company with great track records and they have been in business for over 25 years.

ARIIX is in head-on competition with USANA.

To be honest, it's quite impossible for ARIIX to beat USANA.

The differences between ARIIX and USANA are: 

• ARIIX is considered a newbie in the game because it was only founded in 2011 (not even in business for a decade)
• USANA specialize in nutritional supplements and it's the top leader in the industry while ARIIX ventures into many different markets
• ARIIX has a pretty unique compensation plan (which I'll explain in a sec) while USANA adopts the traditional Binary compensation plan

Like I've mentioned. ARIIX ventures into multiple markets and they have different product lines for each market.

They call them different "brands". Here are the "brands" they have:

• Nutrifii - A series of supplements that provide nutritional support
• Slenderiiz - Weight management product line designed to control appetite and increase metabolism
• Puritii - Purification product line that includes air and water filters
• Reviive - Personal care products including shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and toothpaste
• Priime - Essential Oils (For best Essential Oils, check out Young Living & doTERRA)
• Jouve - 3 skincare products (Skin tightening serum, dark spot corrector & brightening cream, nourishing night cream)
• NuCerity - This is their new skincare product line with more advanced technology
• ARIIX Travel - An innovative loyalty rewards program offering incredible vacation savings that go hand-in-hand with building your ARIIX business

So, the most commonly asked question is definitely:

Does ARIIX products work?

To be honest, I've not tried them before but from my research, there's a mixed results.

Some people felt dramatic health benefits while some doesn't feel anything at all.

And there's always a group of people who has experienced some negative impacts or side effects from using the products.

Some studies have shown that the products are no different than any other health & skincare company. Most of the effect are more or less placebo.

(In fact, if you are looking for nutritional supplements, personal care and skincare products, I would recommend you to try USANA because I've used them before and I can guarantee you the quality.)

This is always the same for all health and wellness companies.

The only way for you to know if they work is to try it out yourself.

But let me warn you...

They're not cheap!

Just like any other MLM companies, the 2 main ways for you to make money with ARIIX is to:

1. Sell products and earn retail commissions
2. Recruit people and build your downline teams to earn various bonuses, commissions and incentives

But before that, we need to first understand how to get started and qualify for commissions...

First of all, in order to join ARIIX as their "representative" or distributor, you have to purchase one of their Enrollment Packs.

The tricky part about this is that they have 9 different Enrollment Packs for you to choose from and the price ranges from $294.95 all the way to $2,098. (Which is crazy to be honest!)

The more expensive the Enrollment Pack, the more products you have and the more earning potential you have.

That's why your sponsor will definitely recommend you to purchase one of the more expensive ones like the Elite Pack which costs $1,414.95.

They will claim that expensive pack allows you to have a better head-start in business and you can make more money in the long run.

But the reality is that the more money you pay, the more money they make. Simple as that.

And that's just the beginning my friend...

Another criteria for you to be commission qualified is that you have to maintain a sales volume of 100PV per month, which is equivalent to around $150.

To reach this sales volume, you can either sell products to your customers or purchase and consume those products yourself.

For most beginners who lack the necessary sales & recruiting skills, they'll have to bear the $150/month cost every month in order to stay active and qualified.

On top of that, there's another $25/year annual renewal fee.

I believe that's a huge financial burden for many people.

Don't you think so?

ARIIX called their compensation plan ACTIV8 and they claimed that it's one of the best compensation plan in the whole MLM world.

Why can they be so confident?

Because they adopt a very unique and patent-pending compensation plan called "Multi-line".

The three most common compensation plans are:

• Unilevel
• Binary
• Matrix

But each of them has their own pros and cons.

For example, unilevel mainly focuses on width and binary focuses on depth.

But ARIIX's multi-line compensation plan allows you to build and earn from unlimited width and depth.

Apart from that, they also have some very innovative features in their comp plan like:

• Auto-balancing - The patent-pending algorithm will help you place all the points (sales volume) generated by you and your downline perfectly by "auto-balancing" it so that you can earn maximum commission. (Never have to worry about where to place your points within your organization)
• Power Re-entry - This is another patent-pending feature where you can enroll in multiple teams within the organization which is unheard of in the MLM industry
• And various other bonuses like Income Position Bonus, Pay Line Bonus, Savings Bonus, Matching Bonus, etc...

That's the basic concept of their ACTIV8 compensation plan.

No matter how special their compensation plan is, most of the money are still being made through recruiting and they're still using the traditional ways to recruit (i.e. hosting home parties).

Not only that, from my research, quite a number of people shared how they got tricked to join ARIIX with deceptive tactics.

For example, I found a few complaints which they claimed that they were being fetched to those "home parties" by luxurious cars to attend a couple hours of "pitching sessions" that were full of hype.

And they would use some tactics to indirectly force you to take out your credit card to pay for the product packages.

Here's one example:

Let me tell you this...

This ONE example cannot show that everyone in the company is using such shady recruitment tactics.

This cannot imply that ARIIX is a shady company either because it could be just a case-by-case thing.

But the truth is that recruiting is still one of the most important thing in this business.

If you're not good at recruiting or you hate recruiting your friends and family members, this is not the right business for you.

Before you even consider joining ARIIX, you need to understand that health & wellness is an extremely saturated and competitive market.

I've reviewed tons of MLM business opportunities. What I've found is that more than 80% of the MLM companies are selling health, nutrition and/or personal care products.

Just take a look at companies like Juice Plus+, Forever Living, Yoli and Melaleuca.

If you really spend time to do some research, you'll realize the MLM industry is full of health & wellness companies. (You can find a list of MLM companies I've reviewed before here.)

I'm sure you've come across some of your friends and family members who always try to sell you some health & wellness products, right?

My question to you is...

Do you want to be known by your friends and family as one of those "supplements salesperson"?

Some of your are okay with it but I'm sure most of you don't.

Yea, you heard it right!

Just like many MLM businesses, most people failed to make a sustainable living or even make a profit from ARIIX.

Here's the proof:

This screenshot was taken from ARIIX's income disclosure statement.

As you can see, majority of the representatives fall into either the rank of Manager, Supervisor or Team Lead.

And here' the average annual income for each of the rank:

• Team Lead: $3,658/year which is equivalent to around $300/month
• Supervisor: $8,664/year which is equivalent to $722/month
• Manager: $14,313/year which is equivalent to $1,192.75/month

The average earning for ALL representatives in 2016 is $2,025.62 which is only $168.80/month.

Can you see why I said most people failed?

Now, compare these average earnings to the cost of starting this business (highest Enrollment Pack costs $2,098).

That's the reason why many people couldn't even recover the money they invested.

However, I must say ARIIX's income disclosure is one of the best I've seen so far after reviewing so many MLM companies.

In the MLM industry, ARIIX has one of the highest income potential judging from their income disclosure.

That's a huge advantage of ARIIX and this also shows that their unique compensation plan works!

Like I've explained earlier on, the costs needed to start and run this business include:

• Enrollment Packs: Costs ranging from $294.95 all the way to $2,098
• Monthly Autoship: 100PV per month which is roughly about $150/month
• Annual Renewal Fee: $25

To be honest, this is some pretty expensive startup cost for many people.

Most people are not even aware of all these costs involved because people who introduce them to this business will not mention all of them to scare them off in the beginning.

ARIIX has created this thing called the Business Orientation System (B.O.S).

It costs $29.95 and it has pretty good training, support and coaching which is what most MLMs are lacking.

Once again, I have to mention that ARIIX has a really unique and patent-pending compensation plan.

Many MLMs have their own patent-pending or patented products but never in my life had I seen a patent-pending compensation plan.

And their "Multi-line compensation plan" seems to be industry's first.

The effectiveness of such compensation plan is evidence in their income disclosure which shows a much higher income potential than many MLMs.

No, ARIIX is not a scam, nor is it a pyramid scheme.

Anyone who tells you that ARIIX is a scam has probably failed before. At the same time, people who claim ARIIX is the best business opportunity are most likely trying to recruit you into the company.

My take on ARIIX is this...

It's still too early to determine whether ARIIX is a good business opportunity because it's still a very young company founded in 2011.

It has only been in business for less than a decade.

Judging from their compensation plan and income disclosure, it's a much better MLM business opportunity compared to many other MLMs out there.

However, it's too expensive to get started in my opinion and recruiting your friends and family is never the business model I'm interested in.

I'm not a fan of MLM, not because it's illegal or not profitable, but because of all the restrictions and the expensive costs involved.

Instead, Affiliate Marketing is my top recommended business model for anyone to make money online.

• You have the freedom to promote any products you want and not being restricted to only promote the products from one MLM company
