First of all, I must Congratulate you for taking your time to do your own research before buying into any "seemingly good" product.

That's the way to avoid scams and find the legitimate way to make money online!

Let me be straightforward with you, My Freelance Paycheck by Laura Pennington is NOT a scam. It is a legit product teaching you about how to be a freelance writer and work from home.

However, there are still quite a number of RED FLAGS in this product. That's why it's just a borderline product in my opinion.

As always, my no BS review will prove it to you with real evidence.

So, let's dive right into our review today...

As its name suggests, My Freelance Paycheck is a 156-page eBook teaching you how to become a freelance writer, work from home and make money online.

Because of the Internet, there's a consistent growth in demand for people who can write quality contents helping individuals, companies or organizations to market their businesses/products or get their message out to the public.

That's when freelance writers come into play.

Basically, what you'll be doing as a Freelance writer is to help your clients write contents they need and you get paid for doing so.

On the surface, this business sounds pretty simple. But there are a lot more details you need to understand and master before you can make a decent living from home as a freelance writer.

Starting a freelance business doesn't require anything much.

You don't even need a degree in English/Literature or whatsoever. You just need a laptop, internet connection, and a passion to write.

This is unlike some other business models where you need to know about sales, marketing or even have a certain amount of startup capital.

That's why I said the barriers to entry for a freelance writer is pretty low. This is definitely a plus point for My Freelance Paycheck.

Freelancing is a legit business and it's a growing industry since more and more people are aware of the importance of outsourcing.

Writing is just one small area of freelancing. You can take a look at platforms like Fiverr.com or Upwork.com.

You can offer all kinds of freelancing work from writing to graphics design to video editing to coding or even to weird stuff like pranks, LOL.

I've reviewed hundreds of scam products online and a lot of them simply propose business models that don't work at all.

They just make it seems like a magic push-button solution to making money online. Quantum Ad Code is one example of such scams.

So, another good thing about My Freelance Paycheck is that it's based on a 100% legit business model that many people are achieving success with today.

To be honest, the sales page of My Freelance Paycheck is really poorly made.

It looks like the standard scam sales page where the narrator just read through the slides and pitch the scam product to you.

But the founder of My Freelance Paycheck, Laura, even include a photo of herself.

So I did my own research using Google Image Search. And I found out that Laura Pennington is actually a real person.

She is a really successful writer online who has been featured on many websites.

As usual, there are quite a number of scammy testimonials on the sales page which I suspected they were fake.

But I was wrong...

Once again via Google Image Search, I found out that the testimonials provided on the poorly designed sales page are actually real.

Since My Freelance Paycheck is a ClickBank product, it comes with a 60-Day refund period.

The good thins is that at least you know it's possible to get your money back if you found out it's not suitable for you.

But the problem with ClickBank refund is that it can be really troublesome at times.

Like I've said earlier on, there are some serious RED FLAGS with this product which I'll be exposing to you right now...

Despite it is promoting a legit business, the sales page is really too hyped-up and misleading.

For example, it claimed that as long as you can type an Email to a friend or post a few sentences on Facebook, it's enough for you to succeed with freelance writing:

Seriously, this type of claim is really too much!

She is making it sounds too easy and too good to be true with this sales pitch.

Freelance writing is getting more and more competitive these days. It's impossible for you to get long-lasting clients if all you know is how to type an Email and publish a Facebook post.

That's not the end...

In the sales page, she claimed that you just need to pay ONE payment of $47.

However, once you click on the buy button, you'll be led to the standard ClickBank check out page. And below the cost of the product, there are a couple of small words telling you that there's a "Future Payment" of $37 PER MONTH!

What the heck?!

This is a really unethical way to take more money from innocent people!

That's why I described it as a "sneaky" way to charge a recurring upsell.

My Freelance Paycheck doesn't really offer any kind of support. It only provides the content. But if you have any questions, you have to figure it out on your own.

I'll be discussing in detail about who is My Freelance Paycheck for in just a moment. But all you need to know now is that it's only for people who have the passion and skills to write.

If not, you'll still be struggling with making money online.

Without the passion and skills, you can't find clients who want to work with you. That's common sense right?

I believe this is the same for any business. But Laura just makes freelance writing seems too simple and easy, which is obviously not the case.

If you think you can start making money as long as you have the passion and skill for writing, you're wrong.

Just think about this...

There are so many people doing the exact same thing and the barriers to entry is so low, why would people want to hire you instead of others?

That's why marketing is still pretty important in freelancing.

You need to to how to market yourself and attract clients.

I know My Freelance Paycheck does cover that in the training but it is making it seems too easy.

You can reach out to your friends who have being doing freelancing or have done freelancing before and ask them the details.

It takes a lot of time and hard work in order for YOU to be seen and for clients to trust you.

It's not like what Laura described in the sales video that your paychecks will just keep coming in!

This is the most important point among all...

Ultimately, freelancing is still an "active income JOB" which you're still being hired by people.

If you stop working, your income also stops.

However, that's not what we're looking for, right?

For your information, there's a type of income stream called "Passive Income"​. It means that you can build up a system to work for you 24/7 even while you sleep and travel.

If you want to achieve financial freedom, you really need to start building your passive income stream instead of trading your time for money.

You don't need an English degree for it or being a real writer.

But you need to have the passion and the skills to deliver what your clients demand.

This can be anything from writing a blog post to a sales copy to an eBook or to things like whitepaper.

You don't need to know all of them but you need to at least specialize in one of them.

However, My Freelance Paycheck is NOT for people who want to be financially free because it's quite impossible for you to achieve that by doing this active income work.

Most importantly, it's not the type of online business which you can achieve financial freedom.
