What is Market Health?

Market Health is an affiliate network just like Amazon Associates. But there are two main differences between Market Health and Amazon Associates:

  1. Market Health offers products solely on Health, Beauty and Fitness while Amazon offers a very wide range of products that you can literally find anything there.
  2. Market Health is a Direct Network, meaning that all offers in the network are own and manufactured directly by them. Unlike Amazon where the products are from different merchants all over the world (In other words, if you're a merchant/vendor who wants to sell your Health products, you can't do it at Market Health.)

(P.S. For point number 2, Market Health claims that they are a platform to satisfy both merchants and affiliates in their about page. However, I didn't find any place for me to join as a merchant. So I Emailed their support and they told me that they don't accept merchants. LOL)

Market Health does not accept Merchant Application

Anyway, some categories you can find in MH include:

  • Men's Health
  • Women's Health & Beauty
  • Sexual Health
  • Teeth Whitening
  • Weight Loss Products
  • Skin Care
  • Sports Nutrition, etc

So basically, if you're in the Health & Beauty niche, you can find lots of relevant products on Market Health to promote, which is pretty good.

Fact: Market Health used to be called JoeBucks affiliate program. Currently, JoeBucks website links everything to Market Health.

How to Make Money from Market Health?

market health homepage

The only way to partner with MH and make money is to become their affiliate. So here are the steps:

  1. Sign up for Market Health Affiliate here.
  2. Once you've received an Email saying that your Market Health account has been activated, you can login to your Dashboard here.
  3. Go to the left-hand side, there's a sidebar with all the options. Click on "offers" and you'll be able to view all the affiliate programs/products that are available in MH.
  4. Choose the offer you would like to promote and you'll see all the information you need to promote the product (e.g. affiliate tracking link, banners, landing page, custom tracking ID, etc.)
  5. Copy your affiliate link and paste it wherever you want to promote (i.e. social media, website, etc.)
  6. Anyone purchases products through your link, you'll earn 50% commission.

Pros & Cons

The Good

  • Market Health pays its affiliates twice per month on every 1st and 16th of the month with a minimum payout of $20. Low threshold and frequent payout means affiliates can be paid faster and easier.
  • Market Health offers 50% commission rate which ranges anywhere from $30 to $70 per action, lead or sale. This is a lot higher than Amazon's commission rate.
  • If you're able to generate 20 sales or more per day, you can negotiate with Market Health for even higher payouts.
  • There are affiliate products that are catered to specific regions so the landing pages of the products will be in the specific language of that region. This is extremely useful for local affiliate marketing for certain regions.
  • Market Health has a 30-day cookies for all its products which is pretty long as compared to Amazon's 24hr cookies.
  • They have some really advanced tracking tools in their platform. The only problem is that it may be a bit too complicated for beginners.
  • Some products have quite a number of promoting resources like banners for you to use.
  • You don't need a website to be approved! (Most of the affiliate programs and network requires you to have a well-established website to get approval.) This is good for those who want to promote affiliate products without using a website.

The Bad

  • Market Health offers commissions based on Cost Per Action (CPA), Cost Per Lead (CPL) or Cost Per Sale (CPS). So there's no recurring income for each sale. However, the upside for MH is that they will be doing re-marketing for you via newsletter and coupon offers to bring back old customers which you'll get commission for as well.
  • They say you can earn 5% commission for referring new affiliates to Market Health but I couldn't find anywhere to get my affiliate link at all. My mistake! Their referral link is hidden somewhere in the dashboard. I finally found it.
  • Like I've mentioned above, they don't allow merchants to join them because they're a Direct Network. (They didn't mention this anywhere on their website)
  • There are some complaints about MH not paying its affiliates on time or paying them the wrong amount. However, there are some saying that MH always pay them on time. (I'm not so sure on this)
  • From my experience, you'll need to keep logging in again and again because the system will automatically log you out very fast (This is very annoying!)

Conclusion

Market Health is a pretty good affiliate network for affiliates in the Health & Beauty niche. I would recommend this to people in these niches because of their high commission rate and long cookies duration of 30 days.

There are a lot of region specific offers as well which is very useful for local marketing.

So, quickly join Market Health here if this is relevant to you!

Hi… I am one of those that is suffering from ‘non-payment’ of commissions. I have passed 2 commission dates 1st & 15th, and my commissions have not been paid.

I contacted my account manager, but she never replies. I tried their contact page but have heard nothing back. When things are good, they are good. When they fail, there is no one to help resolve your issues.

Great affiliate program and products/commissions… but if there is an issue anywhere a long the line, if your account manager is ‘lazy’ then you have no other contact points! Very, very annoying.

Hi Jerry, thanks for the great review. I have a question.

Some Market Health products give free samples. Do you get your commission when the free sample is sent?

Or is it only when an actual sale is made.

Thanks again.
Mike.

If I’m not wrong, you have to make a sale to earn a commission.

Hello,

I have one problem. I created an account on Market Health but I couldn’t link it with Payoneer.

I always get this message “Please submit a new application, using an alternate email address”.

After that, I used the same email, on which it is registered with Payoneer, for MarketHealth but I get the same message.

Can someone help me with this?

Thanks,
Regards.

I used to promote Market Health products and I was paid once from the network. This article made me reconsider to promote Market Health products once again.

I’ve also read some success stories from them. One of them is the deadbeat Dan Brock. Yes he shows his more niche earnings and it feels amazing.

Hi Jerry, again some very useful information here on your site. I marked the post, I think I will get an affiliate with them with my Thailand website and promote some sun blockers and dairy products 🙂
You say no website is needed, does that mean I can promote Market Health products on different websites, even if they are not related to the health and beauty niche?

    Jerry Huang - January 18, 2018

    Hi Stefan,
Thanks for your comment. Yes, you’re right! You can promote any products on different websites once you’re accepted as an affiliate.

This sounds like an amazing program. 50% comms and 30 Day cookies. It must be too good to be true.

I’ve been looking for Amazon alternative as one of my sites in the health niche.

My concern is how good are the actual products? Do they have proven referral reviews for each product?

Reply
    Jerry Huang - January 18, 2018

    Hi Vince,
Good questions. I’m afraid I can’t answer that. I’m not sure whether they have proven referral reviews for each product. One thing I can be sure of is that all the products are owned by Market Health according to their support team.

Hi Jerry,
Thanks for letting everyone know about Market Health. Their affiliate program terms are definitely good, especially compared to Amazon. Although my current niche is not relevant to their products, I will be keeping them in mind for a future website.
Are their products high quality?
And what about their sales? Having a high commission on low selling products may not be as good as low commissions on high selling products.
Thanks,
Ed

    Hi Ed,

These are really good questions. But I’m afraid that I don’t have answers for them. Reason being is that I’m not a serious and dedicated affiliate for Market Health. I’m just testing their platform and writing review. So, I’m sorry I couldn’t answer those questions. I guess only those who have been working closely with Market Health for quite some time will know…

I actually think of starting a site in the Health niche and I know that many popular affiliate programs offer only a few cents lol. So I really think that Market Health can be the start of a lucrative business.

    Hey Furkan,
I agree with you that Market Health can be a good place to start a lucrative affiliate marketing business in the health niche. At least I think it’s a lot better than promoting Amazon’s products with just a few percent commission. Good luck!

I have recently started a new health and wellness website and I have been looking for a new affiliate platform that pays better than Amazon I mean let’s face it, you need an incredible amount of traffic to really make anything happen with Amazon.
Market Health looks like it might be right up my alley. However the thought of incorrect payouts does make me pause.
I have your site saved, I want to do a little more research on this program.
Thanks for sharing!

    Hi Brendon,

You should definitely do your own research but at the same time you can just sign up for an affiliate account with Market Health to test things out. It’s free to join anyway. Good luck!

Thanks for this review, Jerry.

Market Health sounds like an awesome affiliate network for those interested in the health and beauty niche. I like the fact that they pay out high commissions and pay out twice a month.

While it’s true that no recurring payments is a drawback, that is the case for most affiliate marketing niches. Recurring income is best, of course, but it’s not a deal breaker for me if it’s non-recurring.

    Hey Andy,
Thanks for reading my review and leaving a comment! Given Market Health’s high affiliate payout, I think it doesn’t matter without a recurring income, right?

Hi Jerry,

I was shocked to read you could not find your affiliate link anywhere? WOW! They seriously need to fix that bug.

However, they payout twice a month which is brilliant and a 30 cookie life!

I also like they have specific products for each country, this just makes them more appealing, and blanks out the complaints for me.

I might look further into them but if I do not see my own affiliate link – I am out of there!

Thank you kindly for you amazing review and it really was an eye opener.

Regards,

Philip.

    Hi Philip,
What I meant about the affiliate link is for the link to refer new affiliates into the network, not the affiliate links for the products. You can easily find your affiliate link for each product on their offer page. What I was referring to is the referral link that helps promote Market Health.

    Reply
    Jerry Huang - January 18, 2018

Sorry my bad, their referral link is hidden somewhere in their dashboard which I finally found it. LOL

I used to be a member of MarketHealth.
There are many products that people can promote and earn the commission.
I was banned because someone took my affiliate link and ordered products with a fake credit card.
It is hard to track and to prevent.
Thank you for your review.

    Hey Eli,
I’m so sorry to hear that your MarketHealth account got banned. Such a bad news. The application process for MarketHealth relatively simple and easy. Maybe you can try applying again with a different email and particulars.

If not, hope you find another good affiliate program. Good luck! I’ll be looking out for you too. I’ll let you know when I’ve encountered any good affiliate program or network related to health.

Hi
This is a great tip as I have my affiliate links only from Amazon and the commission there is less than 7 percent.
My website is about healthy issues for seniors so this is a good way for me now to change my strategy and look for a different markets than AMZ.
Commission that is higher than 50% is something what I was only dreaming about so thanks for your suggestion
Regards, Marty
