Once again, this is going to be a long and in-depth review. I hope the following Quick Navigation Menu can help you find the information you need as fast as possible 🙂

What is Earn Easy Commissions?

Below is the front-end sales video of Earn Easy Commissions:

Basically, it's marketed as the easiest, Done-For-You system for you to earn commissions on complete AUTOPILOT!

The founder, Chuck Nguyen, claimed that anyone can easily make their first $100,000 online with the automated system even if you are a complete beginner because he will do all the heavy-lifting and all the selling for you...

And you don't have to:

  • Create any websites
  • Learn coding
  • Optimize funnels
  • Do any data analysis
  • Do any selling

Not only that, you can get access to this "life-changing" system completely for FREE...

is earn easy commissions a scam

This may be appealing to you if you're new to the internet marketing world.

But one important rule of thumb is this:

If something seems too good to be true, it most probably is!

Having said that, I don't judge a book by its cover. So, let me reveal the whole system to you in this review...

How Does Earn Easy Commissions Work?

To be honest, you can't find out how it works unless you sign up with them and go through the lengthy videos in their members area.

Chuck did not mention anything about how his system works in his sales video and sales page. He is using the typical sales technique to hook you into joining before revealing to you the actual thing.

Not only that, he showed LOTS of income proofs on his sales page trying to hook newbies' attention.

As always, I don't give my opinion without any proof. Take a look at the screenshot below:

what is earn easy commissions

Chuck has this mini section talking about how does his system work. But seriously, do you understand anything after reading this?

NO!

He is just repeating his hyped up sales pitch that he will do everything for you. This doesn't answer the question about how does Earn Easy Commissions work. Agree?

He didn't even talk about what is the "ONE job" that you need to do.

(Let me reveal to you, the "only" thing you need to do is also one of the hardest things to so and that is traffic generation!)

So, here's how it works...

Earn Easy Commissions is actually a system combining 3 different business models:

  1. Cost Per Action (CPA)
  2. Affiliate Marketing
  3. Multi-Level Marketing (MLM) / Pyramid Scheme

You're buying into a system to make money online. But the way to make money online with this system is to promote the same system to other people.

Basically, it's a "self-recruitment platform".

They have training inside the members area but all the training is teaching you how to resell the same system to more people.

For those of you familiar with internet marketing, some common programs that adopt very similar business model may start to pop up in your mind. This include Yoonla, Easy1Up and the infamous Digital Altitude which has been sued by FTC.

So, this type of business model isn't something new or unique. Instead, it can be shut down if not managed properly like what had happened to Digital Altitude.

But EEC is a little bit more complicated than many other programs...

The reason why I said they combine 3 different business models is because...

Firstly, you get paid $1.00 or $1.20 for every qualified lead you drive into the system. This is considered CPA.

Secondly, they're using affiliate links to track your performance and that is affiliate marketing.

Finally, they have a 2-tier affiliate program which is very similar to a MLM business model.

While MLM doesn't equal to a pyramid scheme, I highly suspect Earn Easy Commissions to be a pyramid scheme in disguise just like Digital Altitude because they don't have real products to sell.

They're simply selling the system again and again down the line.

Don't agree with me? I'll explain more and justify my claims below...

Earn Easy Commissions Membership Levels

Since EEC is all about reselling the same system, their different membership levels play a very important role in the amount of money you can make.

(Yes, it's true that you can make money with EEC but I wouldn't recommend you to try out the system. You'll find out why in just a minute. Before that, here's my top recommended program for you to make money online!)

1. FREE Member

Chuck claims that you can use his system for FREE and start making money online.

Yes, it is true. You can start making some money as a Free Member of EEC. But it's definitely not enough to make you a sustainable living.

Most importantly, when Chuck said that EEC is completely Free, it's definitely NOT true at all.

If it is, how he makes money? Nothing FREE in the world can make you rich. Even if you rely on lottery, you still need to pay for it.

So, here are the things included in the Free Membership:

  • Quite a number of video training but mainly focusing on upselling to you the paid membership
  • Earn $1.00 per qualified lead
  • Earn $100 per VIP Partner sale

(Note: Qualified lead means they've confirmed their Email and logged into their account. Also, they must be from one of the 5 countries: US, Canada, UK, Australia and New Zealand.)

2. PRO Member

PRO Member is not very different from a Free Member.

The only difference is that you have to purchase GetResponse (Email Service Provider) and ClickMagick's (Link tracking tool) paid memberships.

Not only that, you'll be purchasing through Chuck's own affiliate links for these 2 services. In other words, Chuck is also earning affiliate commissions by recommending these tools to you.

They cost $15/month & $17/month respectively. This is the hidden cost you'll need to bear if you want to earn more money with EEC.

Things included in PRO Membership:

  • Exact same basic training as Free Members (really really shallow and insufficient for you to make money online)
  • Earn $1.00 per qualified lead (Same)
  • Earn $100 per VIP Partner sale (Same)
  • Earn recurring commissions for every GetResponse & ClickMagick sale (The only difference in PRO Membership)

To be honest, Chuck didn't even talked about PRO Membership in his introductory videos because he won't make much money from PRO Membership.

The next VIP Partner is what he always focuses on throughout his "system"...

3. VIP Partner ($1,000)

Chuck will be promoting to you his VIP Partner in many of the videos in his system, simply because this is the membership level that he can make most of the money from.

Like I've said earlier, Chuck is very good at selling. Despite he always said that any purchases within the EEC members area are optional, they are highly recommended.

Innocent newbies will definitely be inclined to purchase whatever products Chuck recommends.

Things included in VIP Partner:

  • Additional training on Traffic Generation
  • Earn $1.20 per qualified lead (20% more than other membership levels)
  • Earn $500 per VIP Partner sale
  • Earn recurring commissions for every GetResponse & ClickMagick sale (Same as PRO)
  • Traffic Commissions (whenever your referral buys traffic through your link, you get paid)
  • Commissions from other tools, resources and software EEC recommends
  • Earn $200 from VIP Partner sales that your downlines make (This is the 2-Tier affiliate program I was talking about)

As you can see, VIP Partner definitely has its incentives for both Chuck and his customers because you can potentially make more money if you sign up for it.

But to be honest, you're just buying the RIGHT to earn more commissions by reselling the same system.

As for the cost, many other outdated reviews said it's $750. Apparently, Chuck has increased the price to $1,000 recently as of this writing.

So, it's either a one-time payment of $1,000 or a 12-month payment of $100/month.

But, do you really think such "system" is worth $1K?

For newbies out there, you may not know the real worth. But I'm telling you that this isn't worth it at all.

YES, you can learn something about traffic generation and YES you can make money with this system.

But you're not really learning a skill to run a sustainable online business. You're just plugging into someone else's system to potentially earn some money.

What if this system shuts down one day just like what happened to Digital Altitude? Your entire business is gone.

Yet, you're paying $1K for this?

Inside Earn Easy Commissions

The EEC members are is Free to join. So if you want to check out what's inside, you can take a look here.

But I've spent hours going through the system to write this in-depth review. Below are the things I've consolidated from their Free Members Area...

(P.S. This part can be boring but it is for those who are curious about what's really inside the members area. If not, you can skip to the next section where I'll talk about the Pros & Cons about EEC.)

1. Training

Once you've signed up as a Free Member, there will be 5 Steps for you to complete.

Chuck has broken down the system and put up these 5 Steps to guide you along...

Step 1: How to Get Started

As usual, step 1 is all about introduction and welcoming you to the system.

But once again, Chuck didn't explain straightaway about his "system". Instead, he just keep showing his own PayPal earnings and other members' income proofs.

Finally, the action steps for this part is to:

  1. Give him your PayPal email address so that you can receive commissions in the future
  2. Join their Facebook Mastermind Group

Step 2: Grab Your Referral Link

This is the step where he finally explains how his "system" works:

how does earn easy commissions work

Finally, a flowchart overview

He explained that you everything you need to do is to share your unique referral link and the rest of the sign up & upsell process is automated for you.

Step 3: Maximize Your Earnings

So how do you think you can maximize your earnings?

Yes, you're right...

Chuck will be upselling you his $1,000 VIP Partner membership in this step because according to him, that's the way to maximize your earnings. (and maximize his own earnings as well!)

So far I'm really really disappointed because there's no value until now. To be honest, he didn't teach anything useful regarding how affiliate marketing or CPA works, except a very brief overview of his system.

Yet, he is upselling you at this point!

Some of you may think I'm being too harsh on this program but that's the truth. Chuck is good at selling so he is using his sales techniques to make more money for himself with this EEC system.

Step 4: Zero to $10K Journey

Chuck said that this part will be a series of step-by-step videos to show you how he started from scratch and build everything up.

I was really looking forward to this step because it seemed that he was finally going to give some value.

Yes, he did offer quite a lot of value in these 9 videos.

HOWEVER...

Almost everything is teaching you about mindset, beliefs and personal development stuff.

I agree that in order to succeed with any business, having the right mindset is very crucial that's why I said these are very valuable.

But this is totally different from what Chuck promised upfront. He said he will be showing you all the steps he took from scratch which obviously didn't happen throughout the 9 videos.

I believe Chuck has attended a lot of seminars like Tony Robbins' Unleash The Power Within and T. Harv Eker's Millionaire Mind Intensive. Because all the mindset stuff he is sharing are all from these events.

Step 5: Check Your Referrals

This step is totally useless. There's no video. He just leads you to the page where you can check your referrals.

But seriously, Chuck hasn't taught you anything much especially how to drive traffic. It's impossible for you to have any referrals at this point unless you're an experienced marketer.

BONUS: List Building System

To be honest, this is NOT a bonus for you. This is just another UPSELL for Chuck.

He is selling "Chuck's 6-Figure System" to you at the price of $97.

This upsell is mainly to help you build your own Email list. He claimed that this $97 is a setup fee (which is obviously overpriced) to give you the followings:

  • 100 Email follow-ups
  • Ready-made landing page

Of course he makes it sounds very fancy with lots of bonuses. But these are the 2 core stuff you'll get for $97.

Not only that, you still have to purchase your own membership with GetResponse and ClickMagick.

2. Tools

There are 3 tools provided in the Free members area:

  1. Email Swipes
  2. Banners Ads
  3. Facebook Images
earn easy commissions tools

But the problem with these tools is that they are low quality and not very effective.

For example, I've taken a look at the Email Swipes they've prepared. All the emails there are all promotional in nature. They are all using clickbaits to sell something.

That's not the right way to do Email Marketing. You have to offer value and build that relationship first.

3. Support

There are 3 types of support as well:

  1. A  pretty comprehensive FAQ page
  2. You can submit a support ticket to their support team
  3. If your sponsor is Chuck himself, you'll have the benefit of emailing him directly for help

Pros & Cons

The Good

1. Free Membership is REALLY Free

The good thing is that you can really earn commission as a Free Member. You're entitled to $1.00 per lead and $100 per VIP Partner sale.

But the problem is that if you're completely new to internet marketing, it's really hard for you to start making money without a proper training.

2. Real Founder

Initially when I first watched Chuck's sales video, I thought this was another scam with an unknown founder because Chuck didn't show face in his sales video and the whole video is just hype.

Eventually, I found out that Chuck is a real person. You can see him talking inside the members area.

He even has an YouTube channel with his friend/business partner, Andy.

3. Low Payout Threshold

The payout threshold for EEC is just $10 which means you can receive your PayPal commission once you hit $10.

This is a relatively low payout threshold as compared to some other programs which have thresholds up to $100 or $200. That will be very hard to cash out.

The Bad

1. Pyramid Scheme!!

Like I've said earlier, I highly suspect EEC is just a pyramid scheme in disguise.

Take a look at the definition of a pyramid scheme from Wikipedia:

what is a pyramid scheme

It says pyramid scheme is a business model that recruits members via a promise of payments or services for enrolling others into the scheme, rather than supplying investments or sale of products or services.

Isn't this describing Earn Easy Commissions?

If you think carefully, Earn Easy Commissions doesn't have any product. Throughout the "system" Chuck asked you to sign up for various 3rd party services.

The only "product" is his training on how to recruit more people into the system.

That's the exact reason why Digital Altitude got sued by FTC.

So, those EEC promoters and defenders listen up. I've laid out the facts in front of you. Please don't argue with me anymore.

I just hope the same tragedy of Digital Altitude won't happen to EEC to affect even more innocent people.

2. Hidden Costs - NOT 100% FREE!

I think I've provided you with more than enough proofs to show you that there are a lot of costs involved in Earn Easy Commissions. It's really not like what Chuck said in the beginning that EEC is a completely Free system for you to make money online. That's absolute BS!

Some of the hidden costs include:

  • VIP Partner Upsell ($1,000)
  • GetResponse membership ($15/month)
  • ClickMagick membership ($17/month)
  • Paid traffic (can cost up to thousands of dollars per month)
  • Chuck's 6-Figure Upsell ($97)

3. Very Restricted

Another problem is that you're only restricted to using GetResponse and ClickMagick. But in reality, there are tons of Email Service Providers (ESP) and link tracking tools in the market.

Why must I sign up for these two?

The reason is very simple...

Because Chuck think these are the better tools and he wants to earn affiliate commissions from these two services.

If by now you trust me more than Chuck, ConvertKit is my top recommended ESP.

And yes, I'm being transparent to you that is my affiliate link. If you join ConvertKit via that link, I'll earn affiliate commission at no extra cost to you.

4. Unable to Replicate the Business Yourself

Like I've said earlier on, you're basically plugging into a Done-For-You system.

Yes, you can potentially make real money. But you're not actually learning the skills for you to build your own online business.

If let say one day Chuck decides to shut down his system, you're entire business will be gone. You'll be paranoid but Chuck still has his other businesses running for him.

Also, if the unfortunate happen to EEC that FTC take legal actions against it, you're business is at risk. But do you know how to build your own if this system collapses?

That's why I highly recommend Wealthy Affiliate. This platform teaches you all the necessary skills and knowledge you need to build your own profitable online business.

You're no longer putting all your eggs into a single basket once you have the necessary skills at hand.

(And yes, that was an affiliate link as well!)

5. No Refund Policy

Earn Easy Commissions doesn't offer refund for its VIP Partner membership.

The reason they give is that this is a completely digital product so you'll get access to the system once you purchase it:

earn easy commissions refund

Let me give you an example to counter this...

ClickBank is one of the world's largest online marketplace selling digital products. If ClickBank can offer a 60-day refund policy, why EEC can't?

My guessing for not offering refund is that it's hard to manage refund for them because the money will already be paid to the sponsors and Chuck himself.

6. FAKE Cryptocurrency Claims!

Last but not least, Chuck claimed that you need to set up your own Bitcoin wallet and some cryptocurrency exchange account because some traffic networks will pay in Bitcoin.

When I saw this I was like WTF?!

From my years of experience in online marketing, I haven't heard of any traffic network or any online marketers pay by Bitcoin.

What I found out is that the links to sign up for these wallets and accounts are actually Chuck's affiliate links.

So my guessing is that this is just another way for Chuck to earn some extra affiliate commissions for himself.

But prove me wrong if you know any "traffic network" pay by Bitcoin. I will be curious to find out as well...

Is Earn Easy Commissions a Scam?

Okay, it's really hard to conclude whether Earn Easy Commissions is a scam. But it's definitely something that is too good to be true and it is a pyramid scheme in disguise for sure.

So you should stay away from this "system" at all cost. You can still sign up for their Free account to find out yourself since it's free anyway.

But it'll just be a waste of your time.

I can see both sides of coin on EEC. Yes, on one side it does seem a little scammy and yes there’s no doubt Chuck created this system to build his own wealth, but isn’t that what motivates everyone in business? At the end of the day we’re all trying to make that extra dollar. However, on the flip side, Earn Easy Commissions was designed for the absolute beginner who wants a complete, done-for-you, money making system where they can simply GO FOR IT. That’s what is being sold and if there were really no interest in such a system we wouldn’t be here discussing it. Having been online for quite some time now I cringe when people say “Scam, Scam, Scam” because it’s always outsiders judging a product, service or system that they themselves haven’t actually used. To me a scam is when someone cons you into giving them your money knowing there’s no chance for you to make it back + profits. Until I hear an Earn Easy Commissions VIP member say that they bought in and didn’t get paid what Chuck promised to pay, then I’ll consider it a scam. But from my own findings, the only people talking SCAM are either not members trying to sell their own “stuff” or free members who don’t want to put in the little bit of work that ANY business would need. EEC members who are ACTUALLY working the business seem to understand the trade off of “do the work, and then get paid”. And from what I’ve seen, EEC pays earned commissions every Thursday. So even though Chuck is making HIS mone (not a problem for me, I like partnering with people who make money so it might rub off on me), he apparently is also following through on his promises to members and helping them earn from a high profits plug-n-play business. “Pyramid scheme”? Well EEC only has 1 bonus level, kind of a short pyramid. As for the products… I have seen other marketers selling less content for more money, but that doesn’t even matter. All that matters is what people are willing to pay. So I feel EEC is a fair system that works if you work it and pays when you’ve earned it… Plain & Simple. There are certain things I don’t necessarily like about it, but nothing is perfect enough to please everyone.

As usual, another outdated review that is posted by a WA member whose goal is to offer WA as a better alternative As a former WA member, I can say without a doubt that Wealthy Affiliate is much more of scheme than Earn Easy Commissions. The free WA membership is useless after the first seven days. EEC provides ongoing training for their free members.
Like most systems, it not just about promoting the system or opportunity. It is about learning how to SET UP a business. Promoting EEC is just one aspect of that business.

What I don’t like about the program is that it’s an MLM.
I will personally promote products that deliver great value.

The offer looks quite nice though, looking through a beginner’s view. But the problem is that now the site is not loading at all. Whenever I try to signup/sign-in it doesnt load any further.

Give us the updates.

Thanks for the review! I was looking at this program and was thinking of joining and then came across your review. I’m glad I did my homework. I see you promote Wealthy Affiliate. Isn’t that the same as EEC? You are basically just selling the Affiliate program to other people no different. They give you the tools like EEC does for their own program. That’s why I never joined Wealthy Affiliate as well. Nice Review though.

    Jerry Huang - September 10, 2018

Thanks Rino! I guess you have some misconception regarding Wealthy Affiliate. WA is totally different from EEC.

Right when you join, you’ll be guided on how to build your own niche website and promote any affiliate products you like, be it from Amazon, ClickBank or any other places. Whilst, EEC is all about recruiting new people down their multiple levels of membership. You won’t learn how to build niche websites in in the market you’re interested in. Neither will you learn how to choose and promote any products you like because it’s all about their membership.

Yes, WA has their own affiliate program but that’s not their main focus. You can see that once you join WA. I’m promoting it because I truly love the platform. For example, wouldn’t you recommend your friends your favorite restaurant so that they can give it a try? Same concept here.

WA’s main focus is still on helping people to build affiliate niche website which you can’t do in EEC.

I hope this makes sense to you 🙂

Hi Jerry, and thanks for this again very in-depth review.

I do like the fact that the program is actually free to join. The commissions though are very poor. Let say I work for a sales campaign a few days or even just one day, I’ll probably never get the money that pays my work.

To get traffic and trust is the hardest part in this business. If we start selling this kind of pyramid system, we destroy the trust of our audience we build up with a lot of good but hard work.

I’m pleased to see that you do not recommend starting an online business with this Earn Easy Commissions program.

Earn easy commissions is a lie in itself because earning commissions isn’t easy and every affiliate marketer will tell you the same if he’s being honest.

Reply
    Jerry Huang - May 29, 2018

    Hey Stefan,

Free to join in a good thing. But to be honest, you’re not getting much value from the free membership. It’s all about upselling to you the back-end product and all the different affiliate promotions.

I agree with you that it can destroy out reputation. But since this product is targeting beginners, it doesn’t really have that problem for them.

Thanks for your comment Stefan. Making money online is really not that easy but it’s worth it!

This program is selling nothing but a dream. Nothing comes in life that is worthwhile especially when it comes to this line of work. It is all, blood, sweat and tears so to speak. The good news, however, is that there are businesses like Wealthy Affiliate that is legit and is helping so many people to have online success.

I agree with you that they’re just selling a dream. Earn commissions online is not that easy. Thanks to Wealthy Affiliate, I’m able to learn the real legitimate way to make money online and not fall into such systems.
