What Is Maru Voice Canada? It’s Just A Somewhat Okay Survey Site!

Maru Voice Canada is an online market research company that runs a paid survey panel and forum that allows Canadians to voice out their opinions on a wide range of topics. 

Apart from partnering with local companies, Maru Voice Canada is also partnered with non-profit organizations, media, and government institutions 

According to their domain info, the site is relatively new. Their domain name was registered recently in March 2018. Prior to becoming Maru Voice Canada, they were known as Angus Reid Forum. The parent company Maru/Blue operates the community.

Maru Voice Canada is just like most survey panels. Think of them as large focus groups that market research companies use to generate information from a specific group of people about a particular topic or product. 

Because surveys require a specific demographic, you’re not going to be able to access a lot of the surveys within Maru Voice Canada or within any other survey company. 

Maru Voice Canada requires the following information from you when you sign up: 

1. Name
2. Residence
3. Age
4. Gender
5. Family status
6. Educational level
7. Habits

This will help them match you to the surveys you will demographically qualify for.

How to Register to Maru Voice Canada

As of this writing, Maru Voice Canada is not accepting new members. However, they open up registrations periodically throughout the year, so you’ll have to check back every now and then. 

If you do get accepted into the program, you’ll be required to participate in one survey every three months to keep your account’s active status. 

You’ll see the available surveys on your member’s area but you’ll also be receiving invites to surveys via email. 

But these surveys are only limited in slots, so once you see them on your dashboard or on your email, take them right away otherwise you’ll be locked out. 

Maru Voice Canada Points System

Maru Voice Canada keeps tabs of your earnings via their points system. These points can be used to redeem gift cards or PayPal money. 

Before you start the survey, it will show you how much it’s going to pay you in points. 

The conversion is about one point per one cent, so 150 points is $1.50. 

Redemption of Points

Maru Voice Canada has you earning $50 before you can withdraw the entire amount. This means you’re looking at 5,000 points from surveys. 

On top of exchanging it for cash via PayPal, you can also avail of a Visa (virtual/physical) card, and gift cards. 

According to their site, they will change their point redemption rewards without prior notice.

Take Surveys

Maru Voice Canada offers paid surveys as the only option for making money on their platform. 

Their surveys take about 15 to 25 minutes and pay between 0.50CAD and 2.50 CAD. 

There are other survey sites out there that pay more, so don’t settle for Maru Voice Canada. 

You should also participate in surveys at least once every three months, otherwise Maru Voice Canada will close your account and forfeit all of your accumulated earnings. 

Maru Voice Canada is not meant for anyone at this time, and we’ll explain in the next section. There are better paying survey sites out there if you really want to make money just doing tedious surveys.

#1 High Withdrawal Threshold

Most survey sites have a minimum threshold of about $25 before you can withdraw your earnings, and even then that’s difficult to accumulate. But with Maru Voice Canada’s $50 threshold, it’s no wonder people just give up right off the bat. 

Let’s be honest, $50 for a few months of work isn’t that great of a return of investment on your time.

#2 Limited Survey And Income Potential

We know that survey sites won’t get you a full-time income. Maru Voice Canada has a low income potential not because of how much you’re earning but rather on the availability of their surveys. 

You’d be lucky to get a couple of surveys every few weeks and not get disqualified from doing them. 

#3 Not Accepting New Members!

They periodically open their registration, which is quite a pain in the neck to follow up. Now, thankfully, there’s no incentive for anyone here to sign up for their site because of the first two points that I brought up.

There’s nothing to like about Maru Voice Canada. It’s just a survey site that doesn’t really compare to a lot of the survey sites we reviewed previously. 

Maru Voice Canada is a legitimate survey panel as far as we’re concerned, but there’s no reason for us to recommend this program to anyone. Not now, not ever. 

The income potential is so low and the withdrawal threshold is the highest we’ve seen yet, so cashing out is nearly impossible unless you really dedicate your time into it. 

Unfortunately, we’re not going to tell you to do that either. There are better survey panels out there that are worth your time and better than Maru Voice Canada.
