Very nice walk through of Affiliate Marketing and how it all works. You have a great flow to your site.

I previously had a retail website years ago and tried many programs to get going. I can honestly say NONE of them I’ve tried or found, give you the tools to success like Wealthy Affiliate does.

I am currently a member and I’m blown away by the community support and the available training and information for members. This is a great platform for anyone interested in online business.

It is not a hobby or a fad. It is real business and should be treated as such.

Great Information and Great Job

    Hi Todd,
Your words are really encouraging. Glad that you are doing well in Wealthy Affiliate. Feel free to ask me any questions in the comments here or directly inside Wealthy Affiliate.

“I’ll be more than happy to help you out!”, Just like what Kyle said in most of his videos, haha.

Anke Hohaia - May 21, 2017

Hi Jerry, thank you for your comprehensive list of WA facts. I would like to know how long have you been a member of Wealthy Affiliate? Is there a feature inside WA you favor the most?
Thanks again for your post!
~ Anke

    Jerry Huang - May 21, 2017

    Hi Anke,
I’ve been a member of Wealthy Affiliate for little more than a year.

There’s no particular feature that I favor the most because all the training, tools and resources are complements to one another. If you really want me to give a specific answer, I guess it would be the ability for everyone to interact with the Co-founders of Wealthy Affiliate in the community because this is something no other platforms can offer.

Very comprehensive and I like how it’s summarized in FAQ style. I like to be able to go to the questions I have immediately without scanning long text for what I’m trying to get answered. Your FAQ page allows for that nicely and for me (and others) to quickly get answers to our questions. Thanks for the excellent summary to all my WA questions.

    Jerry Huang - May 21, 2017

    Hey Ralf,
Really glad that you like it and thanks for checking out 🙂

Craig - May 20, 2017

Thanks for this post, very useful information here. What are your thoughts on pursuing both the OEC and the Bootcamp at the same time? I’ve read recently that domain age matters a lot when it comes to search engines. Would it help to register a domain early within WA and let it sit while you work on your first niche site and learn the ropes?

    Jerry Huang - May 21, 2017

    Hi Craig,
    These are very good questions!

Firstly, there’s no point pursuing both OEC and Bootcamp course at the same time because they focus on different things, unless you want to be overwhelmed. I strictly don’t recommend people doing that. OEC first, then Bootcamp course. That’s my stand.

Secondly, I had thought about this question before. Since domain age matters, it does make sense to register a domain early. But what I came to realize is that domain age contribute very little impact on your ranking in search engines. The reason is simple. Google is improving and getting smarter everyday. Their main focus is on quality content. So in their algorithm, they definitely put a lot weight on finding quality content and rank it well, instead of putting emphasis on domain age.

In my opinion, it’s not necessary for you to register a domain first just to accumulate its domain age. Instead, you can register a domain first because you like the domain a lot and don’t want other people to register it before you. That should be the purpose.

Deep - May 19, 2017

Hey, I recently joined Wealthy Affiliate, and I can honestly say my experience with the community so far has been nothing but positive. Great place for beginners to learn. Like most people, I had many questions, and your post helped answer some of those questions. Thanks for sharing.

    Hi Deep,
Glad my post helps. Don’t hesitate to ask questions in the comments or directly in Wealthy Affiliate community when you need help:)

Stephen Botwe - May 16, 2017

Hello, greetings.

I was just going through your answers to the 16 Wealthy Affiliate frequently asked questions. I found your answers about Wealthy Affiliate are very informative but still need more clarifications about this Wealthy Affiliate program.

You mentioned about the starter membership which said it’s free to start. But my question is, I know most online programs that are free are not available in all countries. And so I want to know if the FREE STARTER is available in all countries.

And secondly, about the premium membership, can you please give me further explanation why you RECOMMEND it to me and why I should consider choosing that instead?

Also, you did mention that it’ll be a lot harder making money with the FREE STARTER membership. Please can you explain why is that so?

    Jerry Huang - May 16, 2017

    Hi Stephen,

    1) This is a very good question. The free starter membership is not available to all countries. Here’s a list of countries that are not included for the free starter membership due to security issues. I’ll add this to the FAQ list.

    2) Premium membership allows you to have access to all the necessary tools and resources to get started. I have a post on Top 7 Reasons to Join Wealthy Affiliate. You can take a look. However, there’s no point for me to explain everything in words for you because you can experience it yourself with the Free starter membership. I am not trying to sell you anything. I am just helping you to make your best decision. You’ll understand a lot better after you’ve joined the free member.

    3) Like I’ve said, free starter membership is just for you to get a feel inside Wealthy Affiliate. There are some limitations to it. I’ve mentioned it in the page. You won’t have access to the full training, resources and tools as a starter member. So it’s definitely a lot harder especially you are new to this industry.

Norman - May 16, 2017

For anyone who is looking to start a business, Wealthy Affiliate is a good place to start. Many are now having online success and living the lives that they always wanted to live. There are many reports that comes out of this community of people having success. For anyone who wants to be a part of a system that works, Wealthy Affiliate is the first choice!

    Jerry Huang - May 16, 2017

Hey Norman, once again, thank you for your support!

Minhaj - May 16, 2017

Hi Jerry,

You seem to have covered all the bases in this FAQ regarding Wealthy Affiliate. One other Question you could answer is that critics of Wealthy Affiliate always complain that their associates only promote WA and trash other programmes.

I have found this to be false. Many of their super affiliates give good ratings to many other programmes as well.

Anyway, this FAQ answers a lot of questions about WA.
Wish you all the success!

    Jerry Huang - May 16, 2017

    Hi Minhaj,
You’re right that those super affiliates of WA don’t just promote WA and regard all other programs as scam. That’s why they are “Super Affilites” and they are very successful.

However, it is very true that a lot of beginners just regard all other programs as scam to promote Wealthy Affiliate. This is very common especially those beginners are still new and their mindsets are just wanting to make money fast. So they don’t even look deep into all the systems they review before they conclude it as scam.

This is something I guess Kyle and Carson have to educate the members in the future.

Anyway, thanks for checking this page out!

Merry - May 15, 2017

This sounds very interesting. What exactly is Affiliate marketing and is this WA a business platform or a learning platform?

I saw the question on how do I get paid and can I really earn with a free site so I am curious how this works.

Thank you again for your information and help with this.

    Jerry Huang - May 16, 2017

    Hi Merry,
Affiliate marketing is a type of business where you are the middleman between buyer and seller. You earn commission by directing buyers from your websites to the sellers and a transaction occurs. For more information on Affiliate Marketing, check out the Affilite Marketing FAQ page.

For your second question, WA is both a business and a learning platform. It not only provides you with the training needed but also the tools and resources to start your own website and online business.

Lastly, what you have to do to make money in this industry is to build a website, find a niche, create content, attract visitors and convert them into buyers. For more detailed guide on this, you can join my FREE 8-Day Email Course to get started!

Thanks for asking and I hope these help:)

Juan - May 14, 2017

Nice summary of Wealthy Affiliate. Did u try other programs as well?

    Jerry Huang - May 16, 2017

    Thank you Juan!

Yes I did try other programs as well. The first one was with a company called The Six Figure Mentors. That was my first online venture so definitely I learnt a lot but eventually realized that it’s a low quality and scammy system. It’s more like a pyramid scheme. You can read my review on it here.

After that I found Wealthy Affiliate which opened my eyes. I upgraded to Premium within a week and plan to be part of this wonderful community forever.

I’ve also tried another system called Super Affiliate System and I’ve a review on that as well. You can read it here.

After coming across many programs, I still recommend Wealthy Affiliate as the best place for beginners to start. But not so much for those who are already experienced.
