Let me be completely transparent with you, I'm not associated with Transcom in any form.
So, rest assured that I'm not here to pitch or sell anything to you.
Instead, I'm here to reveal how you can make money from their work-at-home opportunity.
Transcom Review Summary
Product Name: Transcom
Founder: Not disclosed
Product Type: Work-At-Home Opportunity
Price: Free to join
Best For: People looking to secure a full-time job as a remote employee
Summary: Transcom is a decent company that provides you with the opportunity of working from home by hiring you as a customer service representative. However, there are several problems that were raised from this review. The main thing here is that the pay is quite low for the amount of workload you're getting, and while it's above minimum wage, it's not that justifiable.
What is Transcom?
Transcom is a company that provides a work-at-home opportunity by hiring people like you as remote call center representatives (CSR).
You don’t have to be physically present at their office to work, or apply for that matter.
Transcom has been around for more than 20 years and has worked with more than 350 companies in over 20 countries.
They’ve hired 30,000 agents from all over the world, so they’re a big family!
Residents from North America and Canada can take part in Transcom’s work-at-home opportunity.
You can apply for either CSR or Technical Support positions if you’re in the USA.
Positions for residents in Canada are closed as of this writing.
Transcom Pay Info
Transcom offers an hourly rate for their remote employees, but it’s not listed anywhere on their site.
I did some digging around and found out that the starting pay is anywhere between $10 and $11 per hour, but like most customer service jobs, this always depends on their client.
Other research also showed that part-time employees get $10 an hour while full-time employees get $11 an hour plus benefits.
Part-time employees who’ve been with the company for 6 months get hired as a full-timer and get increased pay and benefits.
These benefits include 401k, medical, and dental.
Pay is given out every week via direct deposit. No other payment options are available as of this writing.

Qualifications & Requirements
Transcom usually prefers applicants with some experience in the field of customer service experience.
As far as education is concerned, the least that you can have to apply for a job here is a high school diploma.
Because you’re applying for employment, they may also do a criminal background check, and if necessary, require you to pass a drug screen and credit check.
Again, this usually depends on the client you will be working for. Some clients will be rigid in their screening processes while there are those that will just go with your educational attainment and experience.
In terms of hardware, you’re not allowed to work on a Mac and your headset has to be approved by Transcom.
You are required to set your schedule every week. They don’t have a system that just lets you log in and grab jobs when you can.
This may be good or bad for you because a set schedule doesn’t allow room for flexibility.
Because you’re an employee, you’re required to work on the schedule that you set.
Full-time jobs at Transcom usually run 40 hours a week at 5 days per week.
Applying for a job is easy. You only need to fill out your basic information and provide a list of your computer and hardware specs to make sure that you can work with minimal technical issues.
You’re also going to do some online tests and then go through an interview with a recruiter.
Depending on the client and job offer, you’ll have to agree to what they require such as drug screen, credit check, and even criminal background check.
If you do get accepted for the job, you’ll have to wait for a training class to open before you can start working.
Who's Transcom For?
Transcom is for people who are looking for job security but can’t get access to physical jobs in their area.
Being a customer service representative can be done by almost anyone, and it’s a trainable skill.
But if you’re looking for a full-time income online that doesn’t involve having a job, come check out my FREE 1 HOUR Training that shows all of my TOP AFFILIATE MARKETING SECRETS!
Transcom Ugly Truths Revealed!
#1 – High Work Demand!
The first thing that people complained about Transcom is their heavy workload and demand of their agents.
Asking for leave is also a problem as well.
#2 - Low Pay Rate!
There’s also an issue with Transcom about the pay they provide their agents.
Compared to the industry standards and the work expected of agents, the pay is terribly low.
While $11 an hour is above the minimum wage, it’s not worth a lot if you’re going to be put up against demanding work load and shifting schedules.
#3 – It’s A Job!
They provide employment and the lack of flexibility makes it difficult to establish a good way to make money online.
#4 – It’s Only For US and Canada Residents!
As much as people want to take part in any work from home opportunity, Transcom is only limited to US and Canada residents.
And even then, the positions aren’t always available for some states in the US and in some parts of Canada.
However, there are Transcom companies in other countries that hire employees for their business and they’re located in countries such as India and Philippines – two giants in the outsourcing industry.
What I Like About Transcom?
#1 – Remote Job Opportunity!
I mentioned that their opportunity is a job and could be a big disadvantage for some of the people.
But if you’re one of those who can’t find a decent paying job in your area, this might be a good opportunity for you.
Is Transcom a Scam?
Transcom is a legitimate company that provides a somewhat decent work at home opportunity for people who can’t access any good paying jobs in their area.
However, there are several issues brought about by their remote agents such as heavy workloads combined with low pay, making the job as inconvenient for them as possible.
Its availability for US and Canada residents is also a downside because it doesn’t give people from other countries a chance to take part in their opportunities.
Most importantly, it’s still a job so you’re required to follow shift schedules.
