Is Opinion City A Scam? Here’s What The Site’s All About!

Welcome to my Opinion City review!

When I first read through what it's all about, I couldn't believe my eyes!

A site that leads you to questionable make money online programs?

Such a site exists, and this is Opinion City.

First of all, I must Congratulate you for taking your time to do your own research before buying into any "seemingly good" product.

That's the way to avoid scams and find the legitimate way to make money online!

Let me be completely transparent with you, I'm not associated with Opinion City in any form.

So, rest assured that I'm not here to pitch or sell anything to you.

Instead, I'm here to reveal what makes their program something that I would never ever recommend to anyone.

Is Opinion City a scam? It's not but with its affiliations, it might as well be.

Opinion City Review Image Summary

Summary:  Opinion City acts as a portal to market research companies and their paid survey and GPT (Get Paid To) programs. It follows a legitimate business model, but they're far from offering a legitimate system. That's why I cannot recommend this program to anyone. One thing that ticked me off was the fact they hid information about their real owners and are hiding behind fake spokespeople (with proof below). Next, I checked their list and they seem to be affiliated with survey sites that are known to be outright scams

What is Opinion City?

Opinion City appears to be a simple landing page that will direct you and other people to various market research companies.

You’ll probably stumble across companies such as Pinecone Research, Vindale Research, and Global Test Market.

But most of the time, you’ll get the shady survey sites from time to time, and I’ll explain why in this article.

The site is not so much as a paid survey intermediary or a GPT (Get Paid To) Site either, so you’re not going to be earning money directly from them.

As for the owners and founders, they don’t disclose any of that information anywhere on their site.

Inside Opinion City

If it walks like a duck and sounds like a duck, it must be a duck, right?

That’s what Opinion City is. A duck.

If it gives you a survey site, then it too must be a survey site.

In actuality, it just sends you to register for different survey sites and other make money online programs.

What I think here is that their affiliates of these links and they’ll get paid for having people sign up using their link.

Once you’re on their site, you’ll see three tabs which will take you to three different options of earning money online, and I’ll briefly explain them.

1. Surveys & Paid Offers

They send you to different mixed survey panels and some of them are legit, while some of them appear to be scams like Survey Voices.

They’ll also send you to some paid offers, much like what most GPT sites are offering.

These paid offers will also ask for your credit card information so you’re going to spend money to earn money.

2. Coupons & Freebies

They’ll also link you to join rebate sites where you can get discounts or cashback from your online shopping.

Now here, the cashback sites are actually legitimate and well-known like Ebates and Ibotta.

3. Work from Home (Scam, Scam…!)

This tab is probably the most questionable of them all since you’ll be presented with work-at-home opportunities that’s going to cost you a lot of money.

Now I haven’t reviewed some of the sites they presented, but a quick glance at what others wrote about them is all it takes for me to determine that there’s something fishy with these programs.

In the screenshot here, you’ll see three different programs that are complete scams:

Who's Opinion City For?

No one. I think it’s safe to say at this point that Opinion City will do nothing for you to help you meet your goal of making money online.

Opinion City Ugly Truths Revealed!

#1 – No Information About Owners

It puts my mind at ease knowing that there are real people behind any program that deals with helping you make money online.

For Opinion City however, I don’t really know what to say except that they are using fake spokespersons for their site.

Opinion City Fake Owners II

Here's Alyssa

Now, meet Alyssa. She’ll tell you that Opinion City is a great way to make money. But I wouldn’t really believe her.

That’s because she’s not a real person.

I did an image search and turns out she’s someone represented by a stock photo.

Opinion City Fake Owners

Alyssa is not a real person

And I also found out that her photo is also being used on multiple sites.

#2 – Fake Scarcity And Urgency

One thing I also noticed is that they claim that the slots available for these survey sites are limited.

Opinion City Fake Scarcity

Not true at all folks!

And here’s why I’ll tell you how I know they’re lying.

Survey sites will never limit the amount of people who’ll want to sign up with them. That just defeats the entire business model if there ever was such a thing.

If you go to the survey sites being offered, you’ll find that there is no such thing as “limited slots”.

#3 – They Are Recommending Questionable Sites

Not all of the recommended programs from Opinion City are legitimate.

For example, in this screenshot, they recommend MySurveyJobs, which claims that you can earn $500 for doing surveys.

Opinion City Recommendations

A sample of programs they recommend

If they do say that their recommendations are legitimate, why is that program on their list?

I did my cursory check and found out that MySurveyJobs is somewhat questionable in quality.

I would have to do more research as to whether or not it's a scam.

What I Like About Opinion City?

There’s absolutely nothing that I like about Opinion City or their program.

And that’s because they’re too shrouded in secrecy and that they are affiliated with sites that are known to be scams.

And believe me, I try to be objective and unbiased in all of my reviews.

The thing about Opinion City is that they could’ve been a legitimate portal to survey sites, if they did their research first.

I don’t mind that they’re earning money off of you, that’s their business model.

But the fact that they’re actually pointing you to your financial doom is just insane.

Had they come up with a better list of recommended programs, like programs that I would personally recommend, then this review would’ve gone a complete and more positive direction.

Is Opinion City A Scam?

Opinion City is an accomplice to the crime of preying on honest people who want to find a way to earn some income online.

While they are a legitimate site, they do have questionable motives and for that reason, I can’t recommend this to anyone.

The fact that they are hiding their real owners behind fake spokespeople is an indicator that this site is not going to care about you.

The fact that they are recommending programs that are known to be scams tells me that they don’t really care if you earn money or not. As long as they earn through you, then that’s fine by them.

Again, this is a business model that could’ve been profitable for both the company and the customers if their list of programs contained actual legitimate ways of making money online.

But that’s not the case nor the direction that Opinion City is going for.
