Is Neora a Scam? Check Out This Rebranded MLM Company!

Welcome to my Neora review!

It’s normal for MLM companies to rebrand. Maybe their older iteration just wasn’t as successful, or maybe the owners broke up. Either way, MLM companies are usually just a new version of something that was outdated or changed.

This one is a newer version of an old MLM company that was in the heat of being outed for being a pyramid scheme. We also reviewed the older iteration and we didn’t find anything wrong with it.

Today, we’re reviewing Neora and we’re going to find out if there’s something new to offer from this company.

First of all, I must Congratulate you for taking your time to do your own research before buying into any "seemingly good" product.

That's the way to avoid scams and find the legitimate way to make money online!

Let me be completely transparent with you, I'm not associated with Neora in any form.

So, rest assured that I'm not here to pitch or sell anything to you.

Instead, I'm here to reveal what this new company is all about...

Neora Review Summary

Product Name:  Neora

Founder:  Jeff Olson

Product Type:  Health And Wellness MLM

Price:  $200 monthly autoship + various starter sets

Best For: NO ONE!

Neora Review Image Summary

Summary:  Neora is a MLM or multi-level marketing company that markets health and wellness products, specifically skin-care and anti-aging products. But make no mistake. There's not enough income to make from here, and they show this in their income disclosure statement. The products are also expensive, and that's why it's difficult to sell these products compared to other brands.

Rating: 50/100

What is Neora?

Neora is a MLM or multi-level marketing company that was once known as Nerium International. They have a catalog of health and wellness supplements on top of their own affiliate membership program.

The company was founded in 2014 by Jeff Olson, located out in Texas. But Nerium rebranded into Neora just last year.

This was because they expanded their product line and also removed the focus of using their primary ingredient called Nerium oleandrin, hence the name Nerium.

Neora Product Line

Neora markets health and wellness supplements, specifically skin care products. Going into more specifics, they market anti-aging creams, cleansers, and various serums.

Here’s a list of their best-selling products:

  • Age IQ Day Cream ($98) - A cream/lotion that moisturizes the skin and gets rid of wrinkles and fine lines. They also soften the skin.
  • IllumaBoost Brightening & Shield ($78) – Another skin-care product that hydrates and brightens the skin, all thanks to its ingredients.
  • Eye-V Hydrogel Patches ($55) – Another hydration product that gets rids of wrinkles and saggy skin.
  • Beauty & Brains Set ($300) – This is their flagship product consisting of an integrated health and wellness package of night and day cream, and serums.

Does The Product Work?

Despite their price tags, people seem to love their products. You’ll see some of the Neora products on Amazon, and some of them garnered 4 to 5 stars on average.

This means that people actually spend money to invest in their products. This also means that it’s not going to be as difficult to market these products to your customers.

How To Make Money with Neora?

There’s 2 ways to make money from their program:

  • Selling their products and earn retail commission
  • Recruit members and earn commissions from their sales and their signups.

How To Get Started with Neora?

There are various fees associated with Neora’s income opportunity.

You’ll have to select between these 4 packages:

  • Basic Starter Kit ($49.95) - Includes marketing materials and online training access.
  • Starter Pack ($500) - Includes marketing materials, online training access, and $950 worth of 13 products.
  • Builder Pack ($750) - Includes marketing materials, online training access, and $1,342 worth of 25 products.
  • Premium Builder Pack ($1,000) - Includes marketing materials, online training access, and $1,874 worth of 32 products.

Then there’s a monthly PV or autoship of about $200 worth of products.

You’re looking at spending more than $3,000 per year just on products, and then you’ll have various expenses to cover to help sell these products.

Neora Compensation Plan

Their compensation plan is just as complicated as Nerium’s, so we’re just going to go over the important details.

There are 5 points to highlight in their compensation plan:

  • Retail Sales – You get 10 to 20% commission in sales, depending on the difference of prices between retail and wholesale.
  • Customer Acquisition Bonus – You earn a bonus of $16 to $60 every week for every autoship order your customers purchase from you.
  • Personal Customer Commissions – You earn 10 to 25% commissions from your downline if they exceed 200 PV per month.
  • Weekly Promoters Pool -  You earn 2% of total global sales in a month. This is available at certain ranks.
  • Lexus Bonus – This is available at rank Senior Director or higher. You earn a bonus of $1000 a month that’s used to pay for a Lexus car.

Here’s a complete video on how their compensation plan works, and how you can supposedly benefit from it.

Neora Ugly Truths Revealed!

#1 Products Are Expensive

Neora’s products are on the high-end if you compare it to other similar products on Amazon.

Commercial competitors even sell at lower prices, so this is a hindrance in selling their products. Most people prefer to get their products for cheap and at higher volume.

At the bare minimum, Neora products cost as low as $55 and as high as $300.

#2 Autoship!

There are several monthly fees associated with the Neora income opportunity, so it’s going to take a while to recover your expenses.

You’re looking at $200 worth of monthly products, and then if you can’t sell them, you’ll have to buy into the next one on top of the previous ones.

This will result in an abundance of inventory, and any business owner will know that any excess inventory will turn into expenses until they’re sold.

#3 Low Income Potential

Based on their income disclosure statement, 93% of their members earn an average of $1,616 annually. And only 1 in 209 members earn at about $15,000 annually.

What does this mean?

It means that the income potential is low and may not guarantee you a full-time income. You’re earning about a few hundred bucks a month, give or take, and you’re not making a profit until you sell products to recoup your autoship expenses.

What I Like About Neora?

Neora is just like any health and wellness MLM company, and I don’t think there’s anything about them that stands out.

Is Neora a Scam?

Neora is a legitimate MLM company as far as we’re concerned, amidst its previous company being called out for being a pyramid scheme (which they aren’t).

If you’re looking for a source of full-time income, this isn’t the one for you.

  • The income potential is low enough, so much so that you’re earning a few hundred bucks a month at most. You need to be in the higher ranks to earn a few thousand bucks every month.
  • The monthly autoship just kills it for me, and their price would make it difficult to move inventory given that there are cheaper alternatives out there.

There are better MLM companies and income opportunities out there. This just isn’t one of them.
