My Ecom Club Review Summary
Product Name: My Ecom Club
Founder: Teo Vee
Product Type: Dropshipping course
Price: $37 + numerous upsells up to $1997!
Best For: Newbies who want to start dropshipping business
Summary: My Ecom Club, in essence, is a sales funnel created to sell their high-ticket back-end product which costs $1,997 + $97/month. They do offer quite a lot of values in their front-end low cost products but from my experience with dropshipping, it's quite hard for you to succeed without buying into their high-ticket upsell.

What is My Ecom Club?
My Ecom Club is a program teaching people about the business model called Dropshipping.
Dropshipping is one of the most common business models in the E-commerce world right now. Another popular model is called Amazon FBA.
Dropshipping is basically the upgraded version of the traditional E-commerce because you don't need to have inventory and handle all the shipping & customer service.
With the help of today's technology, there are platforms like Shopify, Oberlo and AliExpress to help dropshippers automate most of the complicated process in traditional E-commerce.
If you want to learn more about dropshipping, here's a video overview of what you need to know:
Inside My Ecom Club
I understand that the salespage of My Ecom Club is very appealing to beginners who simply want to make money online because everything seems to be FREE...
You're able to create a Free account and enter My Ecom Club's members area pretty easily as shown below:
What's even better is that there are 6 Free video training in the members area:
- Overview on the concept of Dropshipping
- How to select your niche & products
- The right mindsets you need to have
- How to find the best supplier using AliExpress
- Setting up your Shopify store with Oberlo
- Optimizing your store and getting traffic
The length of all these videos add up to a total of more than 4 hours which is pretty good, given that you can learn something for Free.
However, I've gone through their free training.
These are just very basic and generic knowledge about dropshipping. You can easily find these information online for Free as well.
What you really need to know is that it's quite hard for you to start making money from dropshipping just by going through these basic information.
This is like expecting yourself to drive a sports car when you only studied the theory part of your driving test. (You don't even have a driving license yet!)
Nevertheless, I must say the creator behind My Ecom Club has done a great job at giving value first before asking for money.
This is a great strategy in sales and marketing.
In order for you to pass the practical test and get your driving license, you need to learn and practice driving with a coach. That's what My Ecom Club is for.
If you want to start setting up your stores and make money, you have to purchase their upsells. (Pretty reasonable so far.)
So let's take a look at their entire sales funnel...

My Ecom Club Sales Funnel Revealed!
Upsell #1: Add a Coach ($37)
Immediately after you've created your Free account, you'll be bombarded with this sales video explaining to you why having a "personal coach" to guide you is important.
And then they'll ask you to "Add a Coach" at $37.
After that, they'll introduce to you their second upsell...
Upsell #2: Done-For-You Ecom Store ($1,997)
This is the main product they're promoting. Everything before this is like an appetizer.
At the end of their 6 Free video training, there's another video called "Strategy Session" which is the sales video promoting this $1,997 upsell.
So, what's actually included in this $1,997 upsell?
- 2 Shopify stores setup for you
- 100 top selling products added for you in the niche of your choice
- Written description for these 100 products
- DFY theme & logo
- Some training on traffic generation
I agree that there is indeed value in this product. But the problem is that it's way too expensive.
$1,997 doesn't include support. If you want their continual support including technical support, Skype help & webinar training, you need to pay an extra $97/month!
Other Upsells?
Some people said that there are more upsells...
- Instant E-commerce Website Template ($37)
- Inner Circle Membership ($37/month)
- Gold Membership ($97)
I don't see these upsells myself. It's probably somewhere in the sales funnel or they have removed them to only focus on promoting their $1,997 DFY package.
P.S. This program that has enabled me to generate a 4-Figure Monthly Passive Income at just 21 years old is FREE to get started and only cost $49/month fee to go full-time!
What I Like About My Ecom Club...
1. Valuable Beginner Training
I like the fact that complete beginners can at least learn the basics of dropshipping before buying into anything.
And I was pretty surprised that the 6 Free video training is pretty long (more than 4 hours).
This shows that the creator of My Ecom Club is putting some effort into offering value upfront.
2. Legit Business Model
Another good thing about My Ecom Club is that at least it is promoting a legit business model which has allowed many young entrepreneurs today to become rich and wealthy today.
Just take a look at people like Hayden Bowles & Tanner Planes.
Dropshipping is a business model that works right now and it is creating a lot of young successful entrepreneurs.
3. 30-Day Refund Period
Lastly, there's a 30-day money-back guarantee for My Ecom Club.
But from my research, I've seen cases of them not honoring their refund policy.
It may not be true but just something to keep in mind.
What I DON'T Like About My Ecom Club...
1. FAKE Testimonials
Just like many scams out there, My Ecom Club is using fake testimonials on their site...
They're simply using stock photos from the website called GettyImages.
2. FAKE Success Stories
Apart from testimonials, even the success stories they're trying to show are fake too!
Once again, I can find all these photos on stock photo website Gettyimages...
Let me ask you a question...
If My Ecom Club is really that powerful like it claimed to be, why do they need to use these fake proofs?
If they're really helping people to succeed, there must be real testimonials and success stories to show, right?

3. Hidden Costs
Another thing is that, they'renot very honest about the price...
You see, this is one of their sales presentation slide.
They said they're giving you a "Free Access", yet at the bottom, they're charging you $37 for that.
And other hidden costs include:
- Shopify store & other related Apps
- Cost of paid traffic, such as Facebook Ads
Facebook Ads can cost up to hundred or thousand dollars a month or a week!
You have to consider all these costs.
Is My Ecom Club a Scam?
I don't think My Ecom Club is a scam because they do offer some valuable training about the basics of dropshipping.
But like I've explained, all the free training, coaching and everything is geared towards promoting their $1,997 + $97/month program.
Also, ALL of their testimonials and success stories are FAKE, like I've just proven to you earlier on.
If students of My Ecom Club can really make money with this program, there's no reason for them to use those stock photos in their fake testimonials & success stories.
Make sense?
If you're interested to go down this E-commerce path, I urge you to be really careful in choosing the right program/mentor to follow.
You can get started for Free and get valuable information by simply watching YouTube videos such as those created by Tanner Planes, Hayden Bowles, etc.
How I Make a Living Online...
I agree that it's possible for you to make money with E-commerce.
But there's one major problem which is the startup cost. For most people, you have to rely on paid traffic method, such as Facebook Ads.
And the cost of paid traffic can easily add up to a few hundred or even thousand dollars per month.
That's something I couldn't afford when I just started out online.
That's why I didn't choose E-commerce.
Instead, I chose Affiliate Marketing!
With affiliate marketing, you can literally get started for Free with this program.
I've personally created a 4-Figure Monthly Passive Income Stream and become financially independent at just 21 years old without any College degree or working experience!
Through my own hard work, I went from a broke restaurant waiter to living my dream laptop lifestyle in less than a year's time...
