Pop Spins is what we would consider more of an online game than a GPT site. This site has you playing different types of slot machines to earn money. 

The concept is pretty simple. Every day, you generate these “spins” that allow you to make virtual money. By the time you finish signing up, you get 50 free spins to start earning. 

Note that much like gambling in real life, there’s no guarantee in what you’re getting from your spins. 

Your account also gets replenished one spin every time you stay on their site. Then there are also options for you to replenish your spins faster, but we won’t talk about that.

Signing up for Pop Spins is pretty easy. Just go to their Signup Page and enter your username, email address, and password. Then click on the green “Create Account” button. 

You’ll be asked to verify your email address and then you’re done. 

You’ll be able to enjoy the full features of the site after verifying your email address.

How Does It Work?

The concept of Pop Spins is simple. You collect spins (assuming after you’ve used your free 50 spins from signing up) in order to continue playing the game. 

Your ability to play the game and to earn from the game is based solely on the spins you collect. The more spins you have, the higher your income potential is from this program. 

Note that because this is similar to slot machines, there’s no guarantee here in what you’re getting from the spins. Everything is solely based on RNG (Random Number Generator). You may not even be able to properly predict spins as well. 

For example, you could use your first spin to earn more spins and win some coupon codes, offers, and more. Some spins would just earn you about $0.01, which is pretty lame and what we’d consider being a dead spin. 

The site also has a countdown timer that lets you know how long it’ll take before you get your spin, in case you run out of it. When we tried logging into the program and stayed for an hour, we got about 5 free spins from Pop Spins. 

The consecutive hour we stayed longer, we got another 5 free spins. We assume that the free spins are capped at 5, or are fixed at 5. 

On another hand, the site’s premise works solely on the fact that you need to disable any ad-blocking app in order to “maximize” the site’s potential. You’re even incentivized by disabling your ad-blocker by paying you a few cents. 

How Does Pop Spin Make Money?

When we visited their website, every page load had an ad associated with it. These were pop-up ads, banner ads, you name it. We can only assume that Pop Spins makes money out of these ads viewed by the members. 

How Do You Make Money?

To make money from Pop Spins, you only have to participate in the slot machines-type of activity. As we mentioned earlier, and we really want to enforce this, there’s no guarantee here on how much you can make from each spin. One spin, you’re landing a coupon, and the next ones will get you a few cents here and there. 

The minimum threshold for cashing out is $100, but we are unsure as to whether or not this is paid out because when we signed up, there was no prompt that would let us opt-in for PayPal as a payment option. 

How Are You Paid?

You may be able to request for withdrawal once you get to $100. When we logged in, we had a few cents on our account so we didn’t see any other means of payment from the site. 

We could assume that the prompt for payment options would show up once you reach $100. 

But we have not found any solid confirmation on what kind of payment options are available.

#1 High Payout Threshold

$100, are you kidding me? This is just way too high, even by GPT and Paid Survey standards. It’s tedious enough to get to $25, but having to spin your way to $100 is just crazy. 

Granted, there are paid offers that could potentially land you a few dollars to speed this up, but would you really risk your credit card information?

#2 Paid Offers Are Sketch

Speaking of credit card information, the paid offers are most likely going to ask for it. You’ll be asked to subscribe to a program. This means that you’ll be paid once you’re signed up for said paid offer. Unless you get charged first by the program, there’s a chance to just sign up and make money from the offer without losing money. Otherwise, you’re spending money to make money. 

#3 Adblocker Apps Are Required to be Disabled

Speaking from a personal experience, adblockers are quite handy for blocking unwanted ads, especially those that bring in malware and Trojan viruses. The fact that Pop Spins wants you to disable your adblocker means that you’re going to be vulnerable to these unwanted files. 

Now, we’re not saying that their ads are riddled with viruses. We just want to err on the side of caution here.

Despite being a unique program, there’s just nothing to like about Pop Spins from a consumer standpoint.
