Validately Review – Can You Get Paid Testing Sites? YES!
Welcome to my Validately review!
There are a lot of sites online that can get you do odd jobs while paying you to do so.
These sites aren’t that uncommon, so you’ll probably find a dozen of them offering the same thing.
One of those sites may offer you to test their clients’ websites and ask you to do a review about it.
This is Validately.
First of all, I must Congratulate you for taking your time to do your own research before buying into any "seemingly good" product.
That's the way to avoid scams and find the legitimate way to make money online!
Let me be completely transparent with you, I'm not associated with Validately in any form.
So, rest assured that I'm not here to pitch or sell anything to you.
Instead, I'm here to reveal how you can take advantage of their income opportunity.
Validately Review Summary
Product Name: Validately
Founder: Steven Cohn and Mark Bathie
Product Type: Get Paid To Test Websites!
Price: Free to join!
Best For: People who are capable of creating short and concise feedback for websites and apps.
Summary: Validately is a market research company that pays you to provide your feedback about their clients' websites and apps. They will use this information to improve their websites' functionality or user experience. They also have a decent compensation plan. But there are things that I have problems with. First, the income potential is low because there's not enough tests to go by. You'd be lucky to get at least one test a week or month. They only pay out through PayPal, which is another deal breaker, because there's no other payment option provided as of this writing. However, if you don't mind these problems, then this program might be worth looking into.
Recommended: Yes and No!
What is Validately?
Validately is a market research company that pays people to test their clients’ website functionality, prototypes, and even apps.
Founded by tech entrepreneurs Steven Cohn and Mark Bathie in 2013, the website has done well enough to have minimal complaints from its testers while providing a somewhat decent income opportunity.
But despite being legitimate, I found some issues with their opportunity that may or may not convince you that it’s going to be worth your while.
Website owners and app developers want to know how happy their users are with their site’s or app’s functionality, as well as the overall experience of their products.
To do this, they contact companies like Validately to select people like you and me to test their products and provide our experiences.
The owners will then use this information to improve their products to improve consumer experience.
In exchange for your feedback, you will be compensated.
How Do I Join Validately?
Joining is free and all you need is a working email and a password. You’ll also need a verified PayPal account to receive their payments.
You can also sign up with your Facebook account.
Once that’s done, you’ll be asked to fill up your basic profile and answer demographic questions including age, location, education, type of computer and mobile you’re using, household income, and so on.
Then you’ll be asked to complete a screener test, which I’ll explain in the next section, to determine the quality of equipment you’re using. Follow-up questions will then be provided after this test.
They’ll tell you via email if you’ve passed the test, and I don’t know how long it takes for them to tell you this.
But I haven’t seen any complaints that people haven’t received confirmation emails, so that’s a good sign.

How Much Money Can I Make at Validately?
A 5-minute talk-aloud session can pay you between $5 and $10, while a webcam-based 30-minute research session pays a minimum of $25.
How Does Validately Pay You?
At the time of this review, Validately only pays their testers via PayPal after every 7 days of completing a test.
There’s no also no mention of a minimum payout requirement.
Who's Validately For?
Validately offers a somewhat decent income opportunity that may be worth looking into if you’re able to come up with short and concise points when asked about feedback for a product or service.
With that said, this sounds more of a job than anything and their screener tests prove that.
Validately Ugly Truths Revealed!
#1 – Not Enough Tests To Go By!
They might be paying well, but chances are, you’ll only get at least one test a month.
Sometimes, people barely pass the screening tests so don’t join this site expecting to churn out hundreds of dollars a week.
But other than that, it does give you the ability to make some money on your downtime.
#2 – Limited Payment Options!
They only pay via PayPal and this is a problem for people who are from countries where PayPal does not operate.
A cash or gift card option would be great for this site, and they might offer this in the future.
#3 – Screening Tests Are Hard To Qualify!
Some complaints I’ve come across state that the screening tests are difficult.
Now this is somewhat of a gray area because these tests are reviewed by actual humans.
The tests are done to make sure that you’re not just making stuff up for these reviews and that the clients are getting what they pay for.
But it’s a different story if a site arbitrarily when they reject tests for no reason at all. I have no proof that Validately does this, however.
What I Like About Validately?
#1 – Decent Pay With No Minimum Payout Requirement!
For 5 minutes of your time, you could get at least $5 and that could go higher.
Industry average for survey sites and get paid to rewards programs is less than that, so Validately pays way above average.
On top of that, there’s no minimum payout requirement before you can cash out. This eliminates the grind of getting to a set amount.
So you can basically withdraw once you receive your payment from a test.
Is Validately a Scam?
Validately is a site that pays you to test their clients’ websites and apps. They have a decent payout that’s above average compared to other user testing sites and survey sites.
However, their income opportunity is far from perfect and may not be perfect for everyone. There are not enough tests to go by, so you’re lucky enough to get a test once a month.
Limited payment options may also hinder you from joining this site because they only offer PayPal at this point. If you don’t have a PayPal account, you’re not getting paid.
They could still improve in the future, but as of this writing, I wouldn’t recommend this for a source of full-time income.
