TrafficWave Review – An Autoresponder and Affiliate Marketing Program
Welcome to my TrafficWave review!
Majority of the autoresponders that are advertised nowadays only have a couple of features: to send out emails and to build out a mailing list.
It’s rare for some of them to even have referral programs, let alone a compensation plan that comes from a MLM company.
Today, we’re reviewing TrafficWave.
First of all, I must Congratulate you for taking your time to do your own research before buying into any "seemingly good" product.
That's the way to avoid scams and find the legitimate way to make money online!
Let me be completely transparent with you, I'm not associated with TrafficWave in any form.
So, rest assured that I'm not here to pitch or sell anything to you.
Instead, I'm here to reveal what makes this a tool worth checking out...

What is TrafficWave?
TrafficWave is a company that develops an autoresponder technology responsible for managing email marketing campaigns.
This allows you to send out newsletters, updates, offers, and other promotional materials to your customers’ emails.
TrafficWave’s clients are mostly small and medium enterprises located in more than 140 countries.
The company was founded in 2000 by Stephen Hambright and Brian Rooney. They are currently operated by Hamney Roobright, Inc and are currently headquartered in Spring, Texas.
The heart and soul of TrafficWave is its email marketing technology, which allows you to manage unlimited lists. It doesn’t matter if you have a single list of subscribers, or 30. TrafficWave has the capability to manage them all.
The best part is that your subscription fee doesn’t go up as your number of email lists go up.
TrafficWave’s email marketing technology also allows you to collect just basic or full personal information, depending on what your business needs. You can also schedule your emails easily as well as keep track of important metrics such as click-throughs and open rates.
TrafficWave also allows its users to create opt-in forms easily through their website. You’ll find that they have a variety of templates ready for customers to customize for their campaign.
This allows customers to send out simple text messages or full-HTML messages. The best part here is that you don’t need to download any software. Everything can be done on the website. You can even access your website on your phone and create email campaigns from there.
Lastly, TrafficWave offers protected customer mailings, which is active 24/7 as long as you’re a part of the program. Their protective algorithms are always up-to-date and they have regulatory compliance for its members.
I Created My Own 4-Figure Monthly Passive Income at just 21 Years Old!
How Much Does It Cost?
TrafficWave’s pricing is simple. Unlike other tools such as MailChimp or Aweber that scale their sub fees based on the number of lists you make, TrafficWave offers a fixed rate.
TrafficWave costs $17.95 per month with no additional costs whatsoever.
TrafficWave Compensation Plan
You can also take advantage of TrafficWave’s compensation plan to enjoy a passive income of sorts. All you have to do is promote its technology and you earn a commission for each sale.
Their compensation plan follows a MLM or multi-level marketing structure, minus the heavy emphasis on recruitment.
Here are four ways for you to earn commissions and bonuses from TrafficWave.
Weekly Fast Track Bonuses
Each time you refer a new customer to TrafficWave, you get the bonus. This incentive can go as much as 100% of your sales revenue, paid weekly with no limit on how many times you earn sign up referrals in a week.
Monthly Residual Commissions
This follows a 3x10 structure where you have 3 members on your team on the first level and another 9 on the second level. This paves the way for your monthly residual commissions.
Here are the different levels associated with the residual commissions:
- Surfer - A member must have one referred customer to qualify for the monthly residual commissions. The customer should remain active as well in order for you to receive your commission.
- Tidalwave - You can qualify for this level if you sign up 5 new members to the team, and they have to be active as well.
- Tsunami – You qualify for this level if you sign up at least 10 new members into the team. Like the two levels above, the members have to be active in order for you to earn a commission.
This applies to people in the Tidal Wave and Tsunami level. Tidal Wave gets a 25% leadership bonus as long as they have at least one referred active sale in the current month and another active sale in the past month. Tsunamin level nets them 50% Leadership Bonus.
Guaranteed Traffic Commissions
Members earn a 10% commission on every successful sale of what TrafficWave calls “Guaranteed Visitors”. These are paid out every month, along with your monthly residual commissions.
Who's TrafficWave For?
TrafficWave is intended for businesses who have built a consistent mailing list and who want to make some money promoting the product.
TrafficWave Ugly Truths Revealed!
#1 Limited Number of Affiliates
One disappointing thing about their compensation plan is that the members have to be active in order for you to get your commissions. This requires you to actively sign up people who want to use the business.
And if you’re in a city with limited number of business owners doing email marketing, you may find yourself having only a few referrals.
#2 Might Be Expensive For Starting Out
Because of their fixed fee, you don’t really have a choice in terms of how much you want to pay. The lack of flexibility may be a hindrance for people who just want to test out the waters first.
If you have 0 lists or 20,000 lists, you have to pay the same price.
#3 Commissions Might Be Low
Your income potential for their compensation plan might be on the low end given that you have to have active users who want to maintain a monthly subscription.
What I Like About TrafficWave?
#1 Affordable Subscription Fee
They have a very affordable subscription fee compared to commercial autoresponders. The flat rate doesn’t go up or down depending on your email list.
This might be both good and bad for those who are just starting out.
#2 Free 30-Day Trial
To offset those who just want to try it out, they have a 30-day free trial that gives you access to the full features of the program minus the financial commitment.
Is TrafficWave a Scam?
TrafficWave is a legitimate autoresponder with a somewhat decent compensation plan to help you make some passive income. However, we can’t really recommend it if you’re just after the source of income.
- The income potential might be low given its requirements of active subs or users.
- It also might be expensive to start out for those who just want to test the waters, even if they do want to take advantage of the free trial.
- Your target recruits are those that are going to be actively using the platform, so your pool of recruits just got smaller.
But if you just want an affordable autoresponder that can do the basic work of sending out emails and managing campaigns, this one’s worth looking into.
