Paid survey sites are dime-a-dozen, and we can’t tell you this enough. You do a quick Google search and you’ll find hundreds of sites that are legitimate and have been around for a few years.
But not all of them are made equal. Some sites pay more than others, while others pay a little later than most. It’s a matter of finding that one survey site that’s going to mean the difference between making a few bucks and losing them.
Today, we’re reviewing Mobrog.

What is Mobrog?
Mobrog sounds like a name coming from out of a Fantasy novel, but it’s actually a paid survey site owned and run by a German market research company called Splendid Research GMbH.
Because of this international ownership, they’re able to accommodate members and surveys from more than 60 different countries. Some of the sites that we reviewed were strict in terms of geographical availability.
For example, US-based surveys will only make certain surveys available for US residents. But that’s not the case for Mobrog.
Inside Mobrog
You can sign up for a free account on Mobrog. They’ll require you to fill up minimal information about you such as your name and email address.

You’ll be asked to validate your email address after your initial sign up. Then you’ll be asked to fill up another form that asks for your background. This allows Mobrog to match you with the demographics you’re paired with for their surveys.
Some of the information they need will include:
- Hobbies
- Food
- Electronics
- Occupation
- Education
Taking Surveys
The bread and butter of their income opportunity is their paid surveys. These take no more than 5 to 10 minutes at any given time.
They pay out an average of $0.50 to $3, depending on the length. The longer the survey takes, the more money you make.
The company is also upfront about how much you’re going to make. There doesn’t seem to be any complaints that Mobrog took up a huge fee upfront from their surveys.

Referral System
On top of their surveys, you can also earn money by recruiting people into the program. Mobrog has a referral link given to you once you sign up.
You can use this referral link if you want your friends to sign up.
You’ll only be eligible for the rewards once your recruit completes 3 surveys. This is to make sure that people aren’t creating fake accounts and just flooding them.
You earn $1 for your recruits that sign up and complete the 3 surveys.
Contests
You can participate in contests posted on their social media pages. This is not hosted on their website, so you’ll have to check out every now and then.
These contests occur once a month and reward players anywhere between $5 and $10. It will only take you a minute to participate in these contests.
If you win, the reward will automatically be added to your account balance.
How Much Money Can You Make?
On their site you’ll earn up to $3 per survey, which will take between 5 and 10 minutes of your time. Note that this may not be the case since you’re more likely to earn a few cents up to a dollar most of the time.
At this point, you’re not even going to earn more than $3 in a hour even if you complete the surveys available to you.

They have a mobile version of their program available on the Google Play and Apple Store.
This allows you to take surveys on the go and makes it easy for you to earn some cash when you’re on the move.
The app’s very simple to use and as straightforward as the site, but there are minor technical issues that were brought up by the users.
Cashing Out
You need to have a minimum balance of $4 in order to cash out your earnings. All earnings are cashed out via PayPal, and no other option is provided as of this time of writing.
Who's Mobrog For?
Mobrog is intended for people who love to do surveys. The company’s legitimate, but it’s not going to give you a full-time income.

#1 Limited Survey Availability
A lot of people complained about survey availability. You see the way survey programs work, and not just Mobrog, is that surveys only need a finite number of participants. So once that number’s filled out, the survey’s over.

This means that the moment any survey shows up, you’re in the race with hundreds of other members online at any given time.
#2 Low Income Potential
There’s nothing really special about their rates. In fact, they’re right about average with other survey sites.
The truth of the matter here is that the surveys have low rates because they’re paid by volume. Clients of the company pay out for a fixed number of participants.
The fee paid by the clients gets taken out a commission to pay out for the participants, which is divided. So if you have a client pay $100 for a 100-survey participant, expect a small percentage of that to be divided amongst 100 members.
If $20 is allocated for the members, that’s about 0.2 cents per member.

#1 Low Payout Requirement
Most survey sites have higher payout requirements, sometimes averaging $10 to $25 per member. But with Mobrog, you only need $4 to get your money out of the site and into your PayPal account.
#2 Straightforward Program
Mobrog only has surveys and a referral program in its income opportunity. While this may sound minimal, it does take away other distractions from you. You’re focus is solely going to be on their surveys and nothing else.
Most survey sites will overload you with other tasks and it’s going to keep you busy with little to no reward.
Is Mobrog a Scam?
Mobrog is a legitimate site as far as we’re concerned. They’ve been around long enough that they’ve established a name for themselves.
Unfortunately, this is not your site if you want a full-time income.
- The income potential is quite low, and that’s expected of survey sites.
- The survey availability becomes an issue if you find yourself logging in during peak hours. You’re going to have to compete against other people and make sure that your survey is submitted before it gets disqualified.
But Mobrog is a good way to make a few bucks online. Just don’t quit your day job for it.
