Is Send Out Cards a Scam? A Disappointing Gifting MLM Company!

Welcome to my Send Out Cards review!

There are thousands of MLM companies in the nutrition niche, and another thousand more in the cosmetics department, but there’s only one company out there that markets greeting cards.

You read that right. They have separated themselves from the crowd to market something positive and wholesome while still providing an opportunity to make money.

This is Send Out Cards.

First of all, I must Congratulate you for taking your time to do your own research before buying into any "seemingly good" product.

That's the way to avoid scams and find the legitimate way to make money online!

Let me be completely transparent with you, I'm not associated with Send Out Cards in any form.

So, rest assured that I'm not here to pitch or sell anything to you.

Instead, I'm here to reveal why I got disappointed in this MLM company when it had so much potential.

Send Out Cards Review Image Summary

Summary:  Send Out Cards appears to be a promising MLM company that markets a greeting card gifting opportunity, which could be used to sell to businesses. What is Send Out Cards?

Send Out Cards is a MLM or multi-level marketing company that markets greeting cards and gifts. The company was founded by Kody Bateman in 2003.

To make sure that there aren’t any other MLM companies similar to them, I did some digging around.

And to the best of my abilities, I can safely say that this company is one of a kind. Literally. There’s only one company that markets greeting cards. They have chosen an interesting niche to build around, especially within the MLM industry.

But just because it’s unique doesn’t mean it’s going to make some money. Let’s move on to the business opportunity.

Send Out Cards Product Line

Send Out Cards has you gifting any kind of cards and items, and they have different templates to choose from.

Check out this sample from their site below:

To sum it up, they offer:

  • Wine Bottle Holder
  • Oreos
  • Gift Set
  • Playing Cards
  • Caramels
  • Etc.

But the company’s main products are its greeting cards, and that’s what they’re representing. They’ve done a good job at diversifying their product line over the years and making adjustments as they see fit.

It’s also fitting for MLM companies to grow their catalog when given the chance to grow their business.

Does The Product Work?

It’s difficult to locate reviews about greeting cards mostly because they’re all very subjective, and not so much focused on certain facts about the cards.

I managed to find some positive and negative reviews about their greeting cards from business owners who used them as part of their business promotions. As it turns out, some distributors have done a good job at marketing these cards to businesses.

Some business owners found some value in their greeting cards:

While others just found them useless and mediocre:

With that said, do you think it’s going to be easy to market these products? You be the judge.

How To Make Money with Send Out Cards?

Send Out Cards Ugly Truths Revealed!

#1 Low Income Potential

Something that makes Send Out Cards stand out from the rest of the MLM’s is that they’re quite transparent. They release income disclosure statements every other year, and their more recent one was back in 2017.

As it turns out, less than 5% of their members are decent money on this program. In their 2015, 81.42 percent of their distributors earned about $29.95 per month and 11% of their members, belonging to the Manager group, earned $59.93.

Their 2017 statement isn’t that much of an improvement from the 2015 statement.

#2 Strict Marketing Rules on Send Out Cards

You’re basically not allowed to promote their business on your own websites if you are a distributor, and I can’t understand why there’s a restriction in place. I think this is one of the biggest reasons why their income opportunity is failing.

When there’s no other way to market your cards other than just word of mouth or through their recommended platform, then you’re going to be stuck with just a bunch of cards.

This is all just wasted opportunity right here.

#3 Expensive Startup

At this point, this is where it starts to fall apart. I mean, $800 for a starter kit? Wouldn’t it just be practical to have your own cards and mass print them on Alibaba for less?

And I think it's going to take a long time to recoup your money back unless you sell these as promotions to other businesses.

What I Like About Send Out Cards?

#1 Their Message Is Positivity!

One thing I do like about their program is that they encourage positivity and wholesomeness. Greeting cards can always make someone’s day, and I think that’s a great way to get a business going.

And that’s probably the reason why they’re still in business today.

Would I ever sign up for their business opportunity? Hell no.

But would I buy a card or gift from them? Yes.

Is Send Out Cards a Scam?

To be honest, I was quite disappointed with Send Out Cards because they had something promising and they do have a product that’s easily marketable.

However, they have these restrictions on how to market them that it’s close to impossible to get the word out. That’s probably the reason why their members aren’t earning money at all.

How I Make a Living Online?

I'm not a fan of MLM, not because it's illegal or not profitable, but because of all the restrictions and the expensive costs involved.

Instead, Affiliate Marketing is my top recommended business model for anyone to make money online.

The reason is simple...

  • You don't have to recruit anyone to make money
  • You have the freedom to promote any products you want and not being restricted to only promote the products from one MLM company
  • It's Free to get started

In fact, with affiliate marketing...

I've personally created a 4-Figure Monthly Passive Income Stream and become financially independent at just 21 years old without any College degree or working experience!

Through my own hard work, I went from a broke restaurant waiter to living my dream laptop lifestyle in less than a year's time...
