Is Ask Wonder a Scam? – Make Money By Researching!

Welcome to my Ask Wonder review!

This program is probably unique in the sense that it’s unlike any other program we’ve ever reviewed here.

It doesn’t fall under your typical GPT or Get Paid To program because it just focuses on one task.

It doesn’t fall under any typical survey program because you only have to answer one question, but you still have to queue up for any questions.

This is Ask Wonder.

First of all, I must Congratulate you for taking your time to do your own research before buying into any "seemingly good" product.

That's the way to avoid scams and find the legitimate way to make money online!

Let me be completely transparent with you, I'm not associated with Ask Wonder in any form.

So, rest assured that I'm not here to pitch or sell anything to you.

Instead, I'm here to reveal the mechanics behind their unique program and whether or not there's money to be made here.

Ask Wonder Review Image Summary

Summary:  Ask Wonder provides you with a legitimate opportunity to make money online by "hiring" you as part of their research team. The program's clients sends questions that need specific answers and data, and this is where the research team comes in. You then get paid for providing answers, and as long as it got approved by Ask Wonder. However, there are certain issues with the site that makes me not want to recommend this program as a source of full-time income. Some questions might end up being more difficult than others, so they end up being skipped or end up not worth doing at all. But the biggest complaint here is that some answers are often rejected arbitrarily, despite following their standards. And I'll show you what I mean in this article.

What is Ask Wonder?

Ask Wonder is a fascinating program in itself because it uses members such as yourself to be part of their human search engine.

Director Rachael Granby states that the program was designed to provide anyone, be it a single person or a Fortune 500 company, with access to any information when they need it the most.

The company was created in 2015 and is currently headquartered in New York.

Even at its infancy stage, they already acquired a steady following for people who’re looking to make money online.

Inside Ask Wonder

Whether you’re a businessman or a corporation that needs a detailed question answered, but don’t have the time to do research, you can hop over to Ask Wonder and they’ll do all of the searching for you.

Is Ask Wonder a Scam - How It Works

How It Works

As a “research assistant”, you will be perusing through these questions and then finding the answers for it, including the research that backs any answers.

On the client’s side of things, the cost of doing business with Ask Wonder will vary depending on the difficulty of the question and how quickly they need the answer.

Getting Started with Wonder

If you want to join the Wonder Research team, it’s not going to be that easy as signing up for a GPT or survey site.

To become a team member, you have to provide basic information required by the site and then you’ll have to take a test to determine if you qualify or not.

This qualification test will be a sample research question and how well you do will determine if you get accepted or not.

The test also determines how well you’ll do as a team member, and how you’ll provide the answer. They will also check for your grammar and other writing skills as well.

What Are These Questions?

Questions provided by the client to Ask Wonder are not your ordinary YES or NO questions. You have to provide them with detailed research to back your answers up.

Based from that sample list of questions, you’re going to have to use different pools of data and research to come up with an answer.

As a research assistant, you’ll also be trained on how to go about the writing and research process before you get started.

Ask Wonder also grants you access to different guidelines, sources, and advice on how to approach certain topics.

You’ll also be invited to their official Slack channel where you can communicate with other team members.

Getting Paid as an Ask Wonder Research Assistant

How much you get paid will depend on the answer that a question needs, as well as the difficulty of the question and how much research is required.

As an assistant, the site says that you can get paid anywhere between $8 for answering a question to $35 for the more difficult ones.

Some experienced researchers at Ask Wonder state that they can make as much as $30 per hour.

You’ll find out more about their company if you check out their official FAQ right here.

Ask Wonder also pays out their researchers every two weeks through PayPal, which is a big advantage since you don’t have to wait for a minimum cash threshold to get paid.

You’re going to get paid the amount of money you collected every two weeks.

Who's Ask Wonder For?

Ask Wonder is a decent program in itself, and if you have good writing and researching skills, then you could make some money on their program.

But if you want a source of full-time income online, I would invite you to check out my step-by-step guide on affiliate marketing.

It’s free and doesn’t require you to sign up for anything. No commitments required. And no, I won’t be asking for your email address to spam you with newsletters.

Ask Wonder Ugly Truths Revealed!

#1 – Time-Restricted Questions!

Once you access their questions, you’ll find that there’s a timer of sorts on the page where you enter the answer.

That clock needs to be clicked on or else you’ll lose your progress.

My guess is that it’s a timer that prevents you from idly camping out on this answer page and gives other members a chance to submit their answers.

My advice here would be to paste everything in a single document and just access the page when you’re ready to copy and paste it on the answer page.

#2 – Some Questions Are Tougher Than You Think!

Some of the questions asked on this site are tougher than you think, and some members would leave them out because of the requirements needed.

So if a question has you asking for demographics, you may find it a bit of a challenge and you could end up spending way longer than anticipated on getting the answer.

#3 – Answers Get Removed Without Warning!

This could be from the program’s strict QA program that allows them to filter out the answers.

Unfortunately, this complaint is far more common than you think and goes beyond your basic quality assurance requirements.

In a Reddit thread that I found, a former researcher complained about his or her answers being deleted due to not being able to meet standards.

In that thread as well, the director herself has replied to these questions, so it’s a case of “He said, She said”.

Whether or not this has been resolved means that there’s just something up with their rigid standards and you could lose income potential based on their arbitrary decisions.

What I Like About Ask Wonder?

#1 – No Minimum Cash Threshold!

You get paid out every two weeks, regardless of the amount.

To make things better, I wasn’t able to find complaints about missing payments or payments getting delayed, so that’s another huge bonus as well.

Is Ask Wonder a Scam?

Ask Wonder provides you with a legitimate way to make some serious cash online, but I don’t think it’s enough to rely on for a source of full-time income.

Granted you’re earning above minimum wage, you’re still going at a per-piece rate so there’s no consistency in terms of income.

The only complaint here is that you could be losing out on income because clients or Ask Wonder themselves might not accept your answer even though it met their standards.

But other than that, this might be a good way to make money online due to its unique program.
