What is Crowdology?

Crowdology is a survey site ran by a market research company called Savanta. Savanta is paid by their clients to generate customer feedback and data to improve their services, products, and others.

Much like other survey sites, Crowdology’s payout is $8 and pays out via PayPal.

To join Crowdology, you’d have to be a resident of US or UK and have to be at least 18 years old. I don’t think you can join their survey site if you use a VPN, but that’s another story to tell. Do let us know in the comment section if you can join using a VPN.

Inside Crowdology

After signing up for an account, you’ll be asked to fill up a demographic profile. This will allow Crowdology to match you with the surveys that require your answers and feedback.

Paid Surveys

Because Crowdology is a survey site, you can only make money by doing surveys. This is your only source of income.

After you complete the profile, you’ll be able to see the surveys that you can qualify for.

Qualify meaning that you can take these surveys because your demographic profile fits their requirements.

The length of the survey varies from time to time. The longer the survey takes to complete, the more money it pays out. Some surveys can take only 2 minutes long while there are others that’ll take up to 15 minutes.

Like most survey sites, you may also get disqualified in the middle of the survey. This could be due to the survey reaching its maximum number of submissions, or your demographic does not entirely fit the survey after all.

The latter happens more often than not, so it’s not really reliable even if you just see it on your dashboard.

4 figure monthly passive income

Sweepstakes

You can also take part in their sweepstakes and earn some nifty rewards. However, there’s no information on how to actually join their sweepstakes. Normally you’d have to earn a number of points or be active for X amount of days to qualify. But Crowdology doesn’t tell you what you need to do.

How Do You Get Paid?

You get paid by Crowdology through PayPal or gift cards. The minimum cash threshold is $8, which is relatively low and easy to attain.

Amazon gift cards follow a 1:1 ratio too, so whatever amount you earn or are cashing out, it’s also the amount for the gift cards you want to avail of.

How Much Money Can You Make?

Crowdology claims that you can earn up to $10 per survey, but in reality, you’re more or less earning between $0.50 to $2.50 per.

You’re also reliant on the number of surveys available to you every day. There’s no guarantee that you’re getting a handful of surveys to ensure a consistent stream of income.

Who's Crowdology For?

Crowdology is meant for people who want to earn a few bucks here and there doing surveys. There’s nothing special about their program either, so we can’t promise you anything good here.

Crowdology Ugly Truths Revealed!

#1 Qualification Issues

There are several complaints from users that they don’t qualify for the surveys that are showing up on their dashboard.

There are also complaints about people completing the survey and upon clicking on the submit button, it says that they don’t qualify for the survey. They end up wasting time and effort for completing the survey, only to not get paid. Again, this is another common problem with a lot of survey sites and not just with Crowdology alone.

#2 Not Getting Paid

In line with disqualification issues, some users have also complained about not getting paid for the surveys they completed.

Now we don’t know the exact cause for this issue, and it doesn’t seem to affect all of their members. However, we’re inclined to think that this might tie in with the disqualification problems that they’re currently having.

This could also be an issue with their rewards system wherein it takes far too long for the points to be credited into the member’s account.

There are also reports of people not being able to cash out and getting accounts to 0 balance. We’re not sure what the problem here is, but it’s quite disturbing because you’re having similar complaints from a lot of people.

Going through their , they average at about 1.7 stars out of 5, citing customer service as one of the major concerns that users are facing at this time.

#3 Customer Support Not Responsive!

Customer support isn't responsive at all when it comes to addressing certain issues, two of them were mentioned above.

What I Like About Crowdology?

With all of the issues plaguing the program, we just can’t seem to find anything good with Crowdology.

Is Crowdology a Scam?

We’re inclined to think that Crowdology is a legitimate program, but there’s just a lot of issues that makes us not want to recommend this program to anyone at this point.

People are complaining about being disqualified even after you’ve taken the survey, and a lot are complaining that they haven’t been paid properly by the program.

A whole lot of issues are just surrounding this program right now. We can’t recommend it if you’re looking to mess with paid surveys.

We suggest going with Survey Junkie or any of the top survey sites listed here.
