Affiliate Marketing Academy Review – An OK Affiliate Marketing Training!
Welcome to my Affiliate Marketing Academy review!
You’d think that all affiliate marketing training courses are made equal, but they aren’t. Sometimes, it’s the course content that overpowers one course over the other. Other times, it’s the trainer’s reputation that supersedes anything else.
This program has decent course content but the owner is a bit shady, so is it legitimate or not?
We’ll find out in this Affiliate Marketing Academy review.
First of all, I must Congratulate you for taking your time to do your own research before buying into any "seemingly good" product.
That's the way to avoid scams and find the legitimate way to make money online!
Let me be completely transparent with you, I'm not associated with Affiliate Marketing Academy in any form.
So, rest assured that I'm not here to pitch or sell anything to you.
Instead, I'm here to reveal what this course is all about...
Affiliate Marketing Academy Review Summary
Product Name: Affiliate Marketing Academy
Founder: Vick Strizheus (Vitaliy Strizheus)
Product Type: Affiliate Marketing Training Course
Price: $997 one-time fee
Best For: No one!
Summary: Affiliate Marketing Academy is an affiliate marketing training course designed by Vick Strizheus. However, we can't recommend it because it's just not worth the penny to invest on. There are better courses out there. There's also the fact that the owner has been involved in pyramid schemes and went to jail for insurance fraud.
What is Affiliate Marketing Academy?
Editor note: The program only changed their name from Four Percent Success Challenge to Affiliate Marketing Academy in April 2020. The program’s content has been updated to stay relevant and is meant for aspiring affiliate marketers.
Affiliate Marketing Academy is an affiliate marketing training course designed by affiliate marketer Vick Strizheus. It’s your typical affiliate marketing training program, which covers a lot of the basics and then some advanced modules. But the real spotlight here is on their course creator, Vick Strizheus.
Who Is Vick Strizheus?
Affiliate Marketing Academy’s Vick Strizheus is a known affiliate marketer and network marketer. However, his reputation precedes him and makes us a little bit hesitant in recommending this course to anyone.
Back in 2009, he was arrested for insurance fraud where he had a fake insurance policy and collected $30,000 in commissions. He spent 90 days inside a jail cell and was given a 5-year probation.
After the incident, he started a program called the Big Idea Mastermind, which was nothing more than a coverup for his program called Empower Network.
Empower Network happens to be a pyramid scheme that just went bankrupt recently. He now runs 4 Percent Group where he sells courses about internet marketing. Unlike his other programs, the 4 Percent Group promotes high-quality products such as Tecademics, ClickFunnels, Aweber, NameCheap, and so on.
Even with one legitimate program amidst his shady business past, we’re still not sure as to whether or not Affiliate Marketing Academy is good for anyone.
Inside Affiliate Marketing Academy
Affiliate Marketing Academy is your typical affiliate marketing training program and there’s nothing unique going on here.
If you wanted to enroll in a training course that has a reputed and well-known affiliate marketer, then this isn’t the program for you.
We were unable to get the exact list of the course content, but here’s what you can expect to learn from their program:
How to setup your affiliate marketing business before you even start
How to choose the right affiliate marketing programs
How to improve your copywriting to close the most sales possible
Different affiliate marketing principles
How to use various traffic sources to generate sales
I Created My Own 4-Figure Monthly Passive Income at just 21 Years Old!
These are all standard stuff, and that’s what Affiliate Marketing Academy has to offer. Vick has you hooked on to the idea that he is selling you a super secret technique that allows you to make sales, but that’s not the case here.
You only need to implement sales techniques when you’re in the process of closing high ticket sales that are worth several thousand dollars. But if you’re just starting and you’re marketing products from ClickBank, then there’s no need to use the techniques that Affiliate Marketing Academy is teaching you.
The Premise Of Affiliate Marketing
Affiliate marketing is a simple concept. You pick a program, sell it to others, and earn a commission. There are so many ways to get your offer in front of other people. You could do it by blogging, social media, or even use YouTube.
You can even go the more expensive route and use paid traffic from Facebook Ads and Google Ads.
The bottom line is this. Vick makes it look complicated, so you think he’s selling you this sleek secret technique to making money online and that you can only do it with his help.
This makes us think that Vick is not out here to help you get started on your affiliate marketing journey but rather, just help himself make more money.
Is Affiliate Marketing Academy Worth $997?
The program costs $997 and it’s a one-time fee. We have no idea as to whether there are upsells on the program or not. Chances are there are, but we don’t know what else Vick is selling through the program.
Is it worth the money though?
There are better programs out there that could help you establish your affiliate marketing business. You can do better. Take your $997, add in a couple hundred more, and you’ll find yourself the courses that are handled by people who know what they’re talking about.
You can find our list of recommended affiliate marketing programs right here.
The Refund Policy Is Good
There’s a 30-day refund policy in place and is a no-questions-asked kind of policy. This means they’ll give you your money back as long as it’s within 30 days. Most courses would have you jump through hoops but that’s not the case here with Affiliate Marketing Academy.
Who's Affiliate Marketing Academy For?
Affiliate Marketing Academy is not meant for anyone, and not because we think the owner is shady or up to no good. We just think your money is best spent someplace else.
Affiliate Marketing Academy Ugly Truths Revealed!
#1 Shady Owner
It’s one thing to create pyramid schemes, but another thing to be involved in insurance fraud. The latter cost Strizheus his freedom for quite some time, but that didn’t stop him from getting involved in other pyramid schemes.
All in all, he’s just a shady character and we’d be wary of whatever he is trying to promote.
#2 Pricey For Aspiring Affiliate Marketers
It’s pricey for what it has to offer, and we just can’t recommend this to aspiring marketers. Save your money for something else, even if it’s more expensive than this one.
What I Like About Affiliate Marketing Academy?
#1 Refund Policy Is Also Good
The only thing good about the program is its refund policy. The fact that you can get your money back with no questions asked is a good thing.
But given the owner’s background and past, I wouldn’t be surprised if some refunds aren’t honored.
Is Affiliate Marketing Academy a Scam?
Affiliate Marketing Academy looks to be a legitimate affiliate marketing training course, but we just can’t recommend this to anyone who wants to know more about affiliate marketing.
Where do we begin?
Let’s start with the owner’s background. He’s been involved in insurance fraud and pyramid schemes before. We’re inclined to think that this program is nothing more than a cash grab for him.
The price of the course doesn’t really justify what it has to offer, so you’re better off with spending your $997 somewhere else. Add in a couple of hundred more and you’ll land a better and more decent affiliate marketing training course.
