What is Stack That Money?

In simple words, Stack That Money is a Premium Affiliate Marketing Community (or Forum) that has no Free Trial or Free Membership and all members are required to pay $99 per month to gain access.

They offer case studies, guides, high quality information as well as a conducive environment for members to learn and grow from one another.

The above video is a short animation on Stack That Money's sign up page which shows how this particular character named Chris was able to transform from a complete affiliate marketing newbie to a millionaire just by learning from Stack That Money.

I highly doubt so especially when STM is just an affiliate marketing "forum" in essence.

What Differentiates STM from the Rest?

stack that money homepage

We all know that there are already many affiliate marketing forums and communities in the market, such as Warrior Forum, WickedFire Forum, AffiliateFix Forum and Digital Point Forum, just to name a few. And some are even FREE.

So what makes STM so different that they dare to charge $99/month without any Free Trial?

In fact, STM increases the barrier to entry to make it a truly "Premium Community" where there are no spams and everything is of its highest quality.

Judging from this point, I admire STM and recommends it because I'm sure some of you already have the experience of being spammed with loads of low-quality or even useless information from the Free forums and communities.

What Does STM Actually has to Offer?

Stack That Money is a quality forum that has pretty much everything. Let me introduce a few of the main ones:

#1 Traffic Discussion Area

stm traffic section

You can learn about various traffic generation methods including social media, mobile and adult traffic. However, one problem with STM is that they mostly focus on paid traffic and there's little information regarding things like Search Engine Optimization (SEO).

#2 Buy & Sell Section

This section allows members to get discount codes for tools and software shared by fellow members.

#3 Beginner's Section

stm beginners section

The beginner's section has a step-by-step guide to help new members get started and for them to introduce themselves. There's also a "Follow Along" section so that beginners can get feedback on their campaigns.

#4 Life Section

This is the section that members can discuss literally about anything, be it travel, finance, fitness or just life.

#5 Success Stories

stm success stories

There's also a success stories section where members can share and celebrate the different successes along the way. I believe this is also another great section where members can learn a lot from other people's success stories.

Apart from all these components WITHIN the forum, STM actually host conferences (e.g. Affiliate World Conferences) and local networking events on a regular basis.

Pros & Cons

The Good

1. Higher Barriers to Entry Ensures Quality

Like I've said earlier, there's certain quality in the community and the information being shared simply because members have to pay. It's unlike the normal forums which some of them are free to join.

2. A Ton of Valuable Information & Support

Since STM is a high quality community and the founders have put in some serious effort in creating helpful tutorials and guides within the community, there's a ton of valuable information for members to learn.

3. Active & Helpful Community

At any point in time, there are around 500 members online and since members have all paid money, they are real engaging "friends" that are willing to offer help and support, especially those successful ones.

4. Real Successful Affiliate Marketers are There

Since it's a quality platform, there are actually quite a number of successful affiliate marketers that are STM members. These include people like

5. Good Place for Networking & Masterminding

STM is a very engaging community where you can easily make new friends online. Also, the regular conferences and networking events are good opportunities to network and mastermind.

6. Great Traffic Source for Your Website/Offer

If you are familiar with forum marketing, you'll know that in order to drive quality traffic to your website or your offer, you need to find a good forum with engaging users first.

Since STM meets this requirement, you can definitely get quality and targeted traffic to your website if you do it correctly.

The Bad

1. Not Newbie-Friendly

Despite STM has a beginner's section, the forum overall is very overwhelming especially for newbies.

There's instructions on different topics but there's no clear step-by-step instructions on which one to go first and followed by which one.

On top of that, there's no easy way for beginners to set up their website fast, unlike Wealthy Affiliate where you can easily set up your own website in a couple of minutes with just a few clicks.

2. Not as Active as Before

Stack That Money used to be a very popular and community when it started back in 2011 but today the activeness of the community has clearly dropped.

3. Not Applicable for Every Niche

STM focuses more on dating, adult and mobile install niches. It also puts more emphasis on paid traffic methods instead of SEO.

4. Too Much Information

Although there are discussion areas available for a lot of topics, without a good structure, too much information can also be a problem.

So, is Stack That Money Worth Joining?

stack that money overview

The value of the community definitely worth more than $99/month, however, whether it is suitable for you is another issue.

If you're a more experienced affiliate marketer and you already have your own website running, probably making you some passive income, then Stack That Money may be suitable for you for two reasons:

  1. You can afford the investment
  2. You can find the information you want and won't be overwhelmed

However, if you're a beginner in affiliate marketing, many of you definitely don't have $99 per month to invest in this.

And like I've said, it's not very newbie-friendly. So I wouldn't recommend STM to you.

But don't worry, I got your back!

The first thing I look at is usually the Cost. $99 is a lot of money for an Affiliate Program that does not off a Free Trial. I also notice from your review that the program is not Newbie Friendly.

This looks like a high-class Affiliate Program which caters to a certain class of people.

Do they give their affiliates a guarantee that they will be successful within a certain time?

Wealthy Affiliate seems to be a good choice. I like that they have a Free Starter program.

    Hey Luna,
This is not an affiliate program. This is an affiliate marketing forum. But anyway, I agree with you that $99 per month for access to an online forum is quite expensive for many people. And they do not guarantee that you’ll be successful within a certain time by joining their community. Indeed, Wealthy Affiliate is an awesome place for both beginners and advanced marketers.

Thanks for your comment. I really appreciate that πŸ™‚

There are legit platforms out there that assist in affiliate marketing but how do we make the most?

As everyone has different needs to be met it’s important to seek what works best for you!

Paid traffic is good for conglomerates while beginners are served best knowing the details in gaining traffic and how to do SEO.

The value is where the education is and if the education only caters to the advanced I can see how it drops a few notches. Thanks for sharing!

    Hi Papa Jones,
Thanks for your comment and I agree with you! Every product has its own pros and cons and the cons I found in Stack That Money is that they lack step-by-step training. Other than that, the contents are pretty good! Thanks for checking out my review πŸ™‚

Morning Jerry what I always find interesting is the number of programs that are out there with training that they claim will help you. This is the first time that I have heard of this training and according to what you said, there seems to be some positive but for the more experience. I am sure that your post will help those who have already gotten their feet wet with this line of work.

    Hey Norman,
After doing quite a lot of reviews, there’s one thing I found very interesting is that individuals and companies today are all calling themselves the No.1, the world largest, the most popular, etc… So next time when we see this kind of words, just be careful and do our own necessary research. Stack That Money definitely has its value that’s why there are so many members willing to pay $99 per month for it. But like I said, its not the best place to get step-by-step training.

Anyway, thanks again for reading and leaving a comment! You’re my number one fan and I really appreciate that πŸ™‚

It’s interesting to me that an affiliate company can get away with charging so much without some sort of free trial or money back guarantee. It tells me they believe they have a valuable product. If you’re already a professional and want a community without the spam or newbies I guess that makes sense. I haven’t heard of Stack That Money before so it’s intriguing and I wonder how much traffic they really get and keep at that price. Wealthy Affiliate looks cool. Thanks for the info.

    Hey Jaime,
Thanks for checking out my review and leaving a comment.
Apparently, Stack That Money has a lot of members including some of the well-known bloggers and influencers. I think they’re able to get away without a free trial and charge $99/month is because that the content and value within the community is quite high. And yes, Wealthy Affiliate rocks!
