Is World Global Network a Scam? Let’s hear from a Grand President

Chances are somebody has just introduced to you about a "very good business opportunity" called World Global Network, just like how I received a Facebook message from a lady whom I've never heard before.

She told me that she found a very good business opportunity and she would like to work with me. I was like WTF?! I don't even know who you are...

So she sent me a video which explains what World Global Network is all about and how easy it is to create your dream lifestyle with the help of this business opportunity.

As an experienced marketer who has done MLM and online marketing, that is a big red flag straightaway.

Stay away from those "opportunities" which show you flashy cars, luxurious mansions and promise you how your life can be changed just by buying into what they're offering.

Legitimate businesses won't sell you false hopes. Just like my Top Recommended Program here, they don't mention or show you anything about cars, houses, private jets or anything like that.

Just a quick disclaimer here: I'm not an affiliate, associate or independent distributor of World Global Network. And I've not tried their products or join their company before. But I have experience in both Multi-Level Marketing/Network Marketing as well as online marketing, so I know exactly what to look out for when you encounter such opportunities.

Is World Global Network a scam? I'll review this company for you based on my thorough research as well as my personal experience in MLM & Online Marketing.

World Global Network or "Wor(l)d Global Network" is a Multi-Level Marketing or Network Marketing company selling life-sensing technological products, in other words, wearable technologies!

Founded by Fabio Galdi in 2011, WGN's mission is to change the world with innovative technologies that can help improve our everyday lives and health.

Like I've said, World Global Network operates using the MLM business model, which means they rely on independent distributors (also known as the salesperson of the company) to sell their products.

To make money with WGN, you have to become an independent distributor to sell their products. To make even more money, you have to recruit other people into the system to sell even more products.

That's also why your friend or whoever introduces you about this opportunity wants you to join them. Because they want to recruit you and expand their team to make more money.

So, there are 2 main aspects we will look into in this World Global Network review: The products itself and the business opportunity.

World Global Network has 3 main products so far. Let me briefly explain to you each of them below.

I won't go into very detail because our focus here is the business opportunity of WGN which I'll go into very soon.

You might be wondering...

There are so many smart-bands out there in the market such as Fitbit and Smasung Gear Fit, what makes Helo unique?

To be honest, that's a pretty good question. I personally don't think Helo is unique because there are so many similar competitors out there.

But Helo definitely has its advantage. For example, Helo has captured quite a lot of media attention from around the world such as NBC News, Today, Fox & Friends, Fox News, etc. And it has been successfully showcased in CES Convention 2018 at Las Vegas!

That's only possible because Helo has been partnering with Toshiba developing one of the leading smart-band in the world.

There are quite a few different variations of the Helo model which I won't go into details here.

My main point here is that Helo Wellness Band, despite not unique, is now one of the leading players in the market.

We all know that every electrical devices will emit a thing called "electrosmog", also known as electromagnetic waves. And these electrosmog from your electrical devices like your laptop and mobile phones can actually have negative impact on your body's DNA in the long run.

BioZen is a green triangular sticker which has a small chip inside to combat radiation from your devices.

Take a look at the following video and you'll know what I mean.

Honestly, I think this product is cool but it won't really go viral and the effectiveness is limited.

Think about this, electromagnetic waves are radiation are all around us and it's impossible to block all of them. I don't think just by using such stickers to reduce some of it will have a profound impact on our health.

Not only that, there are also many other companies producing similar products such as Pharmativa, Swiss Harmony and Electrosmog Protection.

Infolio is a smartphone developed by Word Global Network. They claim that it is the world's only "shield-activated" smartphone because they are able to effectively reduce the electromagnetic waves from your phone.

Once again, I don't think people's purchasing decision for phones are made based on health. It's more about fashion, trend and usability. That's why Apple fans are so crazy about Apple products.

The smartphone industry is simply too competitive. It'll be too hard for WGN to stand out from the crowd.

The name of WGN's compensation plan is called "Pay Plan".

As long as you stay as active member (meet the sales volume requirement), you'll be able to earn 10% of all the sales you made.

You can earn one-time revenue by selling their physical products or recurring revenue by selling their Loyalty Program which is kinda like iPhone Upgrade Program in which you pay a monthly fee to get new upgrades every year.

This is when you start to recruit members into your teams - right & left.

Once you have a team (your downlines), you can earn 10-21% of your team's sales volume.

This means that while your downlines are building their own business, a certain percentage of their sales will come to you as well.

That's how you generate passive income from MLM business.

You can 1% of the company's total sales volume if you have at least a "President Millionaire" rank.

Unfortunately, very few people can make it to the President Millionaire rank...

There are also attractive incentives like car bonus, private jet & luxury travel bonus. But those are again mostly for the top earners.

If you're new, it's unlike for you to reach that level anytime soon.

This kind of incentive programs are very common in the MLM businesses to motivate its members to work hard but very few can actually make it.

One of the big advantage of WGN is that they are in the wearable technology market. And it is one of the hottest growing marketing in the world right now.

This is a graph showing the trend of wearable technology in the next couple of years. Wearable technology is expected to be a 150 Billion industry in 2026. That's insane!

So the outlook of World Global Network is good, provided that it can keep up with the rising competition.

Since its inception in 2011, World Global Network has some pretty good records so far.

These really show that the structure and leadership within World Global Network is pretty solid and reliable.

​This has nothing directly related to your business with WGN. But I just want to say WGN has one of the slowest website I've ever seen. You can check it out yourself here.

It may affect your business when your potential customers wants to learn more about this company and are browsing their website.

The extremely slow website has already pissed me off. I'm sure it will be the same for many others.

This part can be easily fixed but who knows if they will do anything about it.

We all know that technology is always changing and innovating. So it's also very easy for a tech-based company to be out of business because of the intense competition.

Despite how cool World Global Network seems to be, the products they are producing have a lot of competitors.

They are not unique. All they can do is to keep innovating and try to stay on top of the competition.

However, there's always a chance for this kind of tech-based company to get wiped out because technology can be easily replaced most of the time.

That's why I don't think this is a good business opportunity judging from the sustainability of the product.

Let me show you the Income Disclosure of World Global Network...

Look at the stats, almost 20% of the members earned nothing in 2017 and another 50% of the members earned less than $1,000 in 2017. In total, there are around 70% of members earn less than one thousand dollars in the year of 2017.

That's very sad. But unfortunately, that's the truth of MLM. Almost every MLM company has similar income disclosure.

I'm not saying you can't make big money. You can be the top 0.22% to earn $100K in a year but it's just 0.22%. The success rate and earning potential is too tiny to even consider joining.

Guess what?! Affiliate Marketing can earn a lot more than that and has a much higher success rate!

Although WGN claims that there's no start-up cost and anyone can just sign up using the sign up form on their website for FREE.

The things you need to take note is that you need to purchase your own Helo and relevant products. Because it doesn't make sense for you to promote an MLM product without personally using it, right?

The lowest cost you need to invest is USD$349 to purchase a Helo Personal Bundle.

Not only that, you'll need to achieve a certain "sales volume" every month in order to be eligible to earn commission. If you can't meet the sales volume, you have to purchase it yourself.

Almost every MLM company has such a rule in order to keep the upline and downline structure sustainable.

No, World Global Network is not a scam. It's not a pyramid scheme as well.

Because they are producing some really good wearable technology products and their MLM business model is legit.

But honestly speaking, it's too hard to earn at least a decent income from WGN.

You may disagree with me because I've never joined this company before or you're making some good money from WGN yourself.

No matter what's the scenario, I'm just speaking from experience with MLM.

Yes, it's possible to make money or even a lot of money. But unfortunately, that's not for the majority of the people.

Just look at their income disclosure. After seeing so many MLM opportunities, almost all MLM companies have very similar statistics for this.

That's why I wouldn't recommend any MLM business opportunities to anyone no matter how good their products are.

I'm not a fan of MLM, not because it's illegal or not profitable, but because of all the restrictions and the expensive costs involved.

Instead, Affiliate Marketing is my top recommended business model for anyone to make money online.
