What is Small Business Knowledge Center?

Small Business Knowledge Center or SBKC is market research company that rewards you for sending in your junk mail and spam mails.

You read that right.

Why would they even want your junk mail?

Well, their official explanation is that the mail is used by their clients for competition research and product development.

They were founded in 2006 and are currently based out in Chicago, Illinois. According to their website, they are a direct marketing company as well. They don’t have a BBB accreditation, but they do have a A+ rating, which is a good sign.

Inside Small Business Knowledge Center

You’ll need to sign up for an account, which will require information such as basic contact info, household income, and the option to add in another household member to use the account.

You’ll have to be approved first before you can start submitting junk mail to their panel.

I Got Approved. Now What?

Once your account is confirmed, you will be asked to forward all of your email about the following topics:

  1. Insurance and investments
  2. Mortgage, loans, banking and credit cards
  3. Telecommunication
  4. Travel and leisure
  5. Shopping in stores or online
  6. Food and beverage
  7. Games
  8. Office supplies and sporting goods
  9. Auto parts
  10. Home improvement
  11. Pet supplies

Apparently, these are the topics they’re interested in, and might be what their clients’ niches are as well.

This is your main source of income for their program, but they also offer other incentives. Periodically, they’ll email you invites to a mystery shopping survey for extra rewards. And you can also refer friends into the program as well. If they open up an account and get approved, you get some bonus points.

How The Reward System Works?

The program works with a point system, which is their site currency. After sending emails or completing surveys, you will be awarded points. 100 points is equal to $1, and the minimum amount for withdrawal is $20 (2000 points).

All cash withdrawals are done via a $20 prepaid Debit Card.

Where Do I Send My Materials?

All of the emails will be sent to consumers@sbkcenter.com, or producers@sbkcenter.com if you’re a producer.

All emails should have its images and other attachments completely downloaded and forwarded to SBKC. You can also do old-school direct mail, from which they’ll send you pre-addressed and pre-paid postage envelopes to send in your snail mail to SBKC.

How Much Does Small Business Knowledge Center Pay?

As mentioned earlier, you can earn up to $20 every 6 to 10 weeks, depending on the number of email spams you receive and send in.

Every 100 points is equal to $1, and you need 2000 points or $20 to withdraw the entire amount. There’s no information on the amount of points you earn per email sent in, but I can imagine that it’s probably within 5 to 10 points each.

There’s also no information provided on whether or not you earn more per specific types of spam emails. Are you going to earn more if you send in a newsletter or are you going to earn more if you get sent a brochure?

If you also noticed, they won’t accept any spam emails that won’t meet their client’s needs, and these includes social media notifications you sent in to your Spam folder and emails from a Nigerian prince.

Who's Small Business Knowledge Center For?

Small Business Knowledge Center is for anyone who wants to make a few dollars by sending in their spam emails. This program will never substitute for a full-time income, so don’t quit your day job.

Small Business Knowledge Center Ugly Truths Revealed!

#1. Low Income Potential

Now let’s be honest right here. The income potential is really low if you’re looking for a source of full-time income online.

Their business model isn’t geared towards that anyways. It’s only meant to incentivize people into sending in their junk items from emails and mails so their clients could spy on their competitors.

There’s also no appeal to earning $20 every 6 weeks, which is the amount of time it takes to get to that amount apparently.

#2. Not Enough Information

Their website doesn’t give you enough information about the company and its incentives.

Pretty much their reward system could’ve been expounded more on their site as opposed to me just looking up third-party reviews and customer feedback.

This doesn’t meant that they’re a scam because they don’t have enough information as well.

#3. Could’ve Been Better

Despite being a unique provider, the program could’ve been better than its current iteration. If the company needs to compete against high-paying survey sites and GPT programs, then it needs to do better in terms of giving higher rewards.

What I Like About Small Business Knowledge Center?

#1. They Provide Positive Customer Experience!

In their SurveyPolice profile, a lot of their customers mentioned positive reviews about SBKC with a keen focus on them getting actually paid for their emails.

In most survey sites that we’ve reviewed, this is a big deal because majority of these programs will simply have you build up points and when it came to getting the cash out, they make you jump through hoops.

Is Small Business Knowledge Center a Scam?

Small Business Knowledge Center is a unique program that incentivizes you when you send in your junk mail and email. However, the program doesn’t really provide you with an opportunity to make a full-time income due to its low income potential.

There are far better make money online programs out there that are more rewarding than Small Business Knowledge Center.

However, if you have a lot of spam emails and want to turn them into a few dollars every now and then, try joining up for their program.
