Is Pi Network a Scam? It’s a Cryptocurrency App Reviewed!

Welcome to my Pi Network review!

The birth of the cryptocurrency paved the way for companies to develop a plethora of income opportunities. These opportunities range from your typical MLM program to get-paid-to mine programs.

As lucrative as the cryptocurrency industry might be, the same thing can’t be said out of the multitude of their programs. There are only a handful of them that are able to make you a sizable income.

Today, we’re going to take a look at Pi Network and find out if it can make you some serious money or if it’s only going to waste your time.

First of all, I must Congratulate you for taking your time to do your own research before buying into any "seemingly good" product.

That's the way to avoid scams and find the legitimate way to make money online!

Let me be completely transparent with you, I'm not associated with Pi Network in any form.

So, rest assured that I'm not here to pitch or sell anything to you.

Instead, I'm here to reveal how you can make use of this mining app, and whether or not it can make you some serious coin.

Is Pi Network a Scam Image Summary

Summary:  Pi Network is a cryptocurrency company that has its own coin and app. The coin's value increases as the more people interact with the app and network, which we'll explain in this article. However, the income potential is low so if you're looking for passive income, this may not work for you. You're not going to make some serious cash, so there's that.

What is Pi Network?

Pi Network is an app designed to help you interact with a new cryptocurrency called Pi. There’s no mining to be done on your phone or mobile.

Their crypto, called Pi Coin, is designed to increase in value when more people are interacting with said coin on their network. It also increases based on how many people are interacting with you.

You also make money when people download the app through you as well.

Now, I’ve reviewed a ton of crypto-related companies with some of them as fake as silicon implants. And the reason why I easily find out that these companies are fake is because there’s just no information about who owns the company.

So naturally that was the first thing I checked in this company. Thankfully, Pi Network has real owners and these people are Stanford graduates and doctors.

I verified the information and sure enough, a quick Google search proves that these people do exist and their credentials check out.

Inside Pi Network

There are different ways for you to make money from this program.

First way to make money is downloading the app and letting it “mine” for Pi Currency. I did some checking and this isn’t exactly MINING. Based on what I found, you get paid when your phone interacts with the network. The value of the coin increases as more people interact.

Another way to make money is by recommending this app to be downloaded by people. Every time someone downloads the app through you, you earn a 25% for every person.

This works through a MLM-like ranking system. The higher your rank, the higher commission percentage you get:

  • Pioneer: This is your first rank as you download the app. You don’t earn any commissions from recruiting just yet.
  • Ambassador: You get promoted to this rank when you start recruiting people into the app. You earn a 25% bonus for doing so.
  • Contributor: You get promoted to this rank when you recruit 3 to 5 people to join the app and have mined for at least 3 days.
  • Node: This rank is available when you start connecting a PC to the Pi Network. Not a lot of explanation as to how this is done.

As you can see, the gist of their program relies heavily on recruitment, which is like universal in majority of money-making schemes.

I Created My Own 4-Figure Monthly Passive Income at just 21 Years Old!

Pi Network launched in March 2019, so they’re barely a year old at this time of writing (March 2020), but they already have an impressive network of members. They celebrated their 1 million mark on December, as seen on their Tweet.

Pi Network is also generating increased interest from people, as evident of this screenshot from their Google Trends last year (Shoutout to Affiliate Doctor for this screenshot).

Pi Network And Its Coin

I’m no expert in cryptocurrency, so I don’t know how cryptocurrencies are valued by default. I know that it’s based on scarcity mostly and its usability. For example, Bitcoin has the highest value because it’s accepted in a lot of websites as a form of payment.

Pi Coin’s value is related to users interacting within the network through their phones and other devices. This is how their mining works. At the time of writing, 1 Pi Coin is worth $0.003. Experts are projecting that the value of the coin will reach $1 by the end of 2020.

The same people also predicted that the coin might jump to around $5 per, so if you can get 1000 coins at $0.003 today and sell them at $5 in the next few years, that’s a huge profit!

Is Pi Network A Pyramid Scheme?

This was my first question to be honest, on top of whether or not their owners exist. You see, one of the hallmarks of a pyramid scheme is its incentive program. If a program has its incentives focused too much on recruitment without providing any products or services, then that’s considered a red flag.

Pyramid schemes also take place when recruitment is the only way to make money, which is coincidentally Pi Network’s main incentive.

But, there’s no cost to joining the program or downloading the app. I don’t think there’s any cost associated with you joining the program.

So no, this isn’t a pyramid scheme.

Who's Pi Network For?

Pi Network is something that’s worth checking out by people who want to make a few crypto coins here and there. If you’re looking for a source of full-time income, then this might not be a program for you.

Pi Network Ugly Truths Revealed!

#1 Recruitment Is Key

While there’s nothing illegal going on around here, I just hate the fact that you have to recruit to make money. It’s a horrible way to make money too.

So the more you recruit, the more you could make money from their earnings. I also want to emphasize that there’s nothing illegal going on around here.

#2 Low Income Potential

It’s not going to get you that much money, so there’s that. Some people went through impressive profits with Bitcoin, but it’s not going to mean the same thing for Pi Network.

At best, you’re hoping for a long-term return on investment. You want to purchase cheap and sell high in the next few years. However with all investments, you need to spend a lot of money to make a lot of it back. But there’s always that risk of losing money too.

So be careful.

What I Like About Pi Network?

#1 Free to Join

This is a risk-free opportunity for anyone to join because it doesn’t cost you anything to download the app or to run it even. This means that anything you earn is strictly profit from here on out.

#2 Does Not Harm Your Phone

Again, there’s no mining done here so it doesn’t really harm your phone or even touch any part of it. this saves you battery and helps you avoid hardware issues associated with mining.

Is Pi Network a Scam?

Pi Network is a legitimate cryptocurrency program that allows you to mine coins by interacting with the network. It’s hit or miss, to be honest.

Normally, I wouldn’t want to recommend this to anyone looking for a source of full-time income because of its low-income potential.

You’re not going to make a lot of money right of the bat because you want to wait on the investment to grow. Then to make up for the wait, you have to recruit people into the program to make some dough. There’s also no assurance that the investments will grow too.

But you’re free to check out the program because it doesn’t cost you anything to join.
