Is Paparazzi Accessories a Scam? A Jewelry MLM Company Reviewed!

Welcome to my Paparazzi Accessories review!

The jewelry niche isn’t something new to the MLM industry. In fact, they’ve been here for just as long as health and wellness MLM’s have been. I would consider them to be one of the main reasons why there’s a lot of people who’re still getting into them.

But like all MLM niches, not all jewelry-based MLM companies are made equal. The longer a company has been around, the easier it is for them to get new people in due to their reputation and history.

Today, we’re taking a look at one of these older companies called Paparazzi Accessories.

First of all, I must Congratulate you for taking your time to do your own research before buying into any "seemingly good" product.

That's the way to avoid scams and find the legitimate way to make money online!

Let me be completely transparent with you, I'm not associated with Paparazzi Accessories in any form.

So, rest assured that I'm not here to pitch or sell anything to you.

Instead, I'm here to reveal what this MLM company is all about.

What is Paparazzi Accessories?

Paparazzi Accessories, or Paparazzi Jewelry, was established in 2010 in Hurricane, Utah. For most of you who don’t know, Utah happens to be the MLM capital of the United States with several top MLM companies headquartered there.

The company was founded by sisters Misty and Chani, together with their husbands. Their website lists Misty and Trent Kirby, and Chani and Ryan Reeve as the co-founders  of Paparazzi Accessories.

Paparazzi Accessories Product Line

Affordability is the name of the game when you’re selling Paparazzi Accessories and their jewelries.

Their focus is on custom jewelries that are affordable with decent aesthetics. Their individual jewelries average at about $5 per piece, while their collections average at about $25.

Collection pieces are thematic and seasonal, so they may not be available all year round.

Their jewelries include:

  • Rings
  • Necklaces
  • Bracelets
  • Earrings
  • Hair Accessories

They do have a collection called the Zi Collection; these items are priced at $25.

All of the jewelries are individually designed by Misty and Chani, and they work with their manufacturers.

All of their accessories are made in China, and are lead-free and nickel-free. This is pretty much the same as the other jewelry-based MLM companies.

Does The Product Work?

Paparazzi Accessories has a fair mix of positive and negative reviews from users and their consultants. The negative reviews often point out to the poor quality of the products, or having the wrong item or size being shipped.

This is quite common amongst MLM companies that market cheap jewelries because you do get what you pay for. You can’t expect high-end jewelry quality for $5.

The positive reviews that this company got came from their consultants, who also got the wrong orders every now and then but were rectified by the company.

I wouldn’t hold my breath for great products, but if you just want something flashy for cheap, this might be worth looking into.

Otherwise, you’d be better off with a trip to Forever 21 or H&M.

How To Make Money with Paparazzi Accessories?

Paparazzi Accessories offers two ways to make money from their compensation plan:

  • Retail commissions
  • Residual commissions from building a team and generating team sales

How To Get Started with Paparazzi Accessories?

Believe it or not, Paparazzi Accessories is quite expensive to get into.

Here are the prices for their starter kits:

  • Preview Pack ($99)
  • Small Home Part Kit ($299)
  • Large Home Party Kit ($499)

The only difference between the three is how many products you get.

Autoshipment

There’s also autoshipment when you do business with Paparazzi Accessories as a consultant. This means that you have to order a certain amount of products and get them shipped to you every month; regardless if you need them or not.

This means that you have to subscribe to the monthly autoship to be eligible for the compensation plan and to be eligible for rank promotions.

The monthly autoship is $70 worth of products.

Paparazzi Accessories Compensation Plan

MLM compensation plans are meant to be difficult to understand by their consultants. They’re not supposed to be deciphered at the first glance. This makes it the biggest reason why potential recruits have to talk to Paparazzi Accessories consultants.

We’re just going to go over the important parts of their compensation plan so you get an idea of how it work

Affiliate Ranks

You get promoted to different ranks according to goals achieved. Basically, the more you sell and the more people you recruit, the higher your rank will be.

Achieving higher ranks also get you higher commissions and other benefits.

Retail Sales

You can make money by selling products directly to the customers. This means that you purchase their products at wholesale price and sell it for retail. The difference would be your profit.

On average, selling a $5 accessory would net you $2.25 or so, so you’d have to sell a lot of them to make it worth your while.

Residual Commissions

These are commissions you earn from your team, or downline. This follows a unilevel structure and will place your recruits directly under you.

How much you make per level will also depend on your rank.

Paparazzi Accessories Ugly Truths Revealed!

#1 Low Income Potential

The income potential here is quite low because you’re only earning a few bucks in profits. For $2 per sale in profits, you’re going to have sell a ton of them to make a sizeable income.

On top of that, you’re also going to earn a few percent in commissions from your downline sales, but even that’s not enough.

#2 Autoship Burdens

We don’t really agree with autoships because they prove to be troublesome if you can’t move your previous inventory. You’ll end up with space issues and overstock too.

At $70 a month, you’re already losing money entering into the new month and you have to sell more than $70 in order to make a profit.

What I Like About Paparazzi Accessories?

#1 10 Years and Counting

Most MLM companies only last for a few years, so it’s an achievement when one has been around for more than 10 years.

For Paparazzi Accessories, it just means that they’re stable and they’re moving products and getting members accordingly. They’re reputed to be known in the industry, so I would say they’re one of the popular brands in the MLM niche.

Is Paparazzi Accessories a Scam?

Paparazzi Accessories is a legitimate MLM company and they’ve been around for more than a decade, which is an accomplishment in the MLM industry. However, it’s not enough for us to recommend it as a source of full-time income.

Verdict Not Recommended Template
  • The income potential is low, and the products are extremely cheap. The profits you make from selling barely reach $5, so you have to sell a lot of them to make it worth your while.
  • The monthly autoship starts you off with a loss at the start of the month, so you’re going to have to make up for the autoship costs before you could even generate profit.

Again, we don’t really recommend it and there are better programs out there that could give you at least a part-time income.

How I Make a Living Online?

I'm not a fan of MLM, not because it's illegal or not profitable, but because of all the restrictions and the expensive costs involved.

Instead, Affiliate Marketing is my top recommended business model for anyone to make money online.

The reason is simple...

  • You don't have to recruit anyone to make money
  • You have the freedom to promote any products you want and not being restricted to only promote the products from one MLM company
  • It's Free to get started

In fact, with affiliate marketing...

I've personally created a 4-Figure Monthly Passive Income Stream and become financially independent at just 21 years old without any College degree or working experience!

Through my own hard work, I went from a broke restaurant waiter to living my dream laptop lifestyle in less than a year's time...
