Is iCoinPro A Scam? Another Crypto Scheme EXPOSED!
Welcome to my iCoinPro review!
If someone ever told you that there was an MLM company that dealt with cryptocurrency, you probably laughed at the idea.
But they are real.
Today, we're going to take a look at a cryptocurrency-based MLM company called iCoinPro.
First of all, I must Congratulate you for taking your time to do your own research before buying into any "seemingly good" product.
That's the way to avoid scams and find the legitimate way to make money online!
Let me be completely transparent with you, I'm not associated with iCoinPro in any form.
So, rest assured that I'm not here to pitch or sell anything to you.
Instead, I'm here to reveal what sets iCoinPro apart from all the other cryptocurrency courses and platforms, and what they have to offer to the industry as a whole.
By the end of this article, we'll find out the answer to the question:
is iCoinPro a scam?
iCoinPro Review Summary
Product Name: iCoinPro
Founder: Paul De Sousa and Justin Clark
Product Type: Cryptocurrency training platform
Price: Choice of 3 subscriptions: $39.95 per month or $229.65 every 6 months or $449.95 every 12 months + $39.95 for the Distributor Fee
Best For: People who are eager to know more about cryptocurrency and those who want to know how to trade with cryptocurrency.
Summary: iCoinPro is a cryptocurrency training platform that runs on a membership-based MLM compensation structure. While it's definitely not a scam, they certainly don't live up to their claim of being "one of the most exciting companies in the world". Underneath the training program, they're simply an MLM company running a 2x14 unilevel structure and you're paying money to earn money (which I'll explain later). Second, the information they provide can be accessed on Google for FREE, and to me, their lessons don't provide any valuable insight into the industry.

What is iCoinPro?
iCoinPro is a cryptocurrency training platform using an MLM or Multi-Level Marketing compensation structure to pay out its members.
The site was developed by Paul De Sousa, and led by its trainer Justin Clark. Both have experience in cryptocurrencies and marketing in the past, but the website does not reveal specific details about their experience.
A quick Google search for Paul De Sousa gave me a few results, but no result on his background or experience, let alone a simple LinkedIn page.
The company also claims to have no physical location and all 20+ of their staff are working remotely.
iCoinPro Product Line
iCoinPro is a cryptocurrency training platform and does not have a coin of its own. Instead, you’ll get three different training modules that will give you a solid foundation on cryptocurrency.
The three modules are:
- Core Training
- Advanced Training 1
- Advanced Training 2
Core Training
This is your first step into entering the world of cryptocurrencies via iCoinPro. This training module consists of 12 lessons, which you’ll see on this image right here:
Here, the basics are covered, from the introduction to how wallets work, the value of ICO’s, and how to mine for coins.
Advanced Training 1 and 2
After you’re done with Core Training, you’ll move on to Advanced Training 1.
The Advanced Training modules are where things go up a notch and the training focuses more on blockchain technology, so you’ll encounter terms like Smart Contracts, and individual sections of today’s most popular coins.
This next level of training has 12 lessons. These are some of the lesson titles:
- Security
- Alt Coins Overview
- Cryptocurrency Exchanges
- Making Money from Cryptocurrencies
- Make Money by Mining Cryptocurrencies
- Make Money by Investing in Cryptocurrencies
These lessons come with a mini-quiz after them, so it makes sure that the reader has fully understood the content of the current lesson before moving on.
Now, this is a feature that I actually appreciate because it does value what their members are learning from these modules.
You can probably argue that all of this knowledge can be found FOR FREE on the Internet, but the lessons on iCoinPro look like they were professionally put together.
But I can’t vouch for the quality since I have to sign up and take the classes myself.
After finishing a module, you also get a certificate which you can show off to your friends and family on social media, or you can print one out for framing.
The MicroProfit System
The MicroProfit System is iCoinPro’s proprietary cryptocurrency trading system, and I think therein lies the real value of the membership.
This system allows you to:
- Which cryptocurrency exchange to sign up with
- How to deposit Bitcoin into your trading account
- How to set up your trading chart interface with a specific indicator
- What signals to look for to know when to Buy
- How to use the provided Profit Calculator tool to know the price to Sell to make your profit
- How to track your trades using the Profit/ Loss Tracking tool
Don’t be intimidated by these details just yet since you’re still going to go through the training modules.
There is also a private Facebook group where members can help one another with trades or share trade alerts.
Do The Products Work
It’s really hard to gauge if training courses actually work or not. First, you have to be a member or have at least taken up one of their classes to verify the quality of their lessons.
But here’s what I do take note of. If the resources that you provide on your membership subscription are more valuable than what people find on Google for free, then that’s probably a good sign.
Other than that, any paid training course still has the burden of proving to their customers that they have more valuable information to provide.

How To Make Money With iCoinPro?
iCoinPro is more than just a training platform for cryptocurrency. It also allows its members to earn while they learn.
This is where the MLM aspect of iCoinPro comes in. Like your typical MLM company, iCoinPro members rely on referrals in order to make money.
How To Get Started With iCoinPro?
Like most MLM schemes, you’ll need to pay a fee to join iCoinPro.
There are three membership levels:
- Monthly Membership: $39.95 per month
- 6 Month Membership: $229.95 every 6 months
- 12 Month Membership: $449.95 every 12 months
Take note that these are not one-time fees and these will only give you access to the training courses and the trading platform.
In order for you to get into the money-making side, you’ll need to pay a one-time Distributor Activation fee of $40.
iCoinPro Compensation Plan
Once you’re an affiliate for iCoinPro, you’ll earn commission every time you sell their $39.95 monthly membership to a customer or to another affiliate.
I found out that their compensation plan has three kinds of commissions that affiliates can take advantage of:
Powerline Commissions
Powerline Commissions are given out when both affiliates and retail customers buy the monthly membership, and they are placed in a straight-line queue (as illustrated below):
The queue is then filled with various positions and accomplished whenever monthly membership plans are sold to customers and affiliates.
The commission rate offered here is 3% of the monthly fee that’s paid by people below you and you also earn money of their retail customers and affiliates.
Residual Commissions
iCoinPro also allows its affiliates to earn money through residual commissions.
This is paid out on a 2x14 matrix set-up and affiliates are able to earn a greater percentage on more levels by having a higher rank.
Within the platform, you get a higher affiliate rank by recruiting more people to purchase the monthly membership.
Matching Bonus
A matching bonus is also part of the compensation plan where you earn a percentage of what the people you refer will earn.
This is where you need to be good at recruiting and hope that your members are also as good as you at recruiting.

iCoinPro Ugly Truths Revealed
#1 - Why Pay For Something You Can Learn For Free?
This is probably the biggest downfall of iCoinPro. There are probably hundreds, if not thousands, of free information online about cryptocurrency, and I’ll show you:
The first five links you’ll see on Google are all complete guides on cryptocurrency, and it’s probably safe to say that these can be accessed without paying any membership fee.
Unless iCoinPro’s lessons are handled by people like George Levy or Osamede Arhunmwunde, then they probably don’t have anything more valuable to offer apart from its money-making opportunity.
And yes, Levy and Arhunmwunde are just two of the instructors that discuss cryptocurrency in Udemy.
#2 - They Say Real Results, But Where Are They?
On their marketing document, they brag about “Real People – Real RESULTS!”
Curious, I went to Google and searched if there are people who became successful traders after going through iCoinPro.
Guess what I found?
Exactly. NOTHING!
I browsed through two pages, and not one of them contained authentic success stories or testimonial videos from iCoinPro members.
On top of that, I did not find any income disclosure statement, so it’s difficult to gauge if members have been actually earning money.
#3- It’s Still MLM!
When it comes right down to it, iCoinPro is still an MLM business opportunity. Yes, you’re learning, but you’re earning. And the product that you’re selling is the membership to the training course.
You’re also paying an upfront fee to become an affiliate.
What I Like About iCoinPro?
#1 - There Are Weekly Webinars
Members enjoy weekly webinars straight from Paul De Sousa himself, and I appreciate supplementary training and knowledge in all forms.
As much as I aim to be balanced and objective in my arguments between benefits and disadvantages, I couldn't find any other benefit that iCoinPro had to offer its customers.
Is iCoinPro a scam?
It’s definitely not a scam, that’s for sure. While they describe themselves as “one of the most exciting companies in the world”, I don’t really see what makes them exciting.
First, they’re an MLM company that runs a 2x14 unilevel structure and you’re paying money on top of its membership fee to earn money. It’s your typical run-of-the-mill MLM scheme, to be honest.
Second, they claim to provide you with education and training programs, but the information that they provide can be accessed for FREE if you know where to look for them.
To me, their lessons don’t provide any unique insight into the industry itself.
In a nutshell, iCoinPro is a membership-based MLM company where you pay a monthly fee and convince others to pay a monthly fee.
Do that enough times and you’ll probably earn a steady income.
How I Make A Living Online?
I'm not a fan of MLM, not because it's illegal or not profitable, but because of all the restrictions and the expensive costs involved.
Instead, Affiliate Marketing is my top recommended business model for anyone to make money online.
The reason is simple...
- You don't have to recruit anyone to make money
- You have the freedom to promote any products you want and not being restricted to only promote the products from one MLM company
- It's Free to get started
In fact, with affiliate marketing...
