Is Carelumina a Scam? Another Health and Wellness MLM Reviewed!

Welcome to my Carelumina review!

Healthcare MLM companies are everywhere, and each of them will brag about having the best products. However, they don’t really have the best nor promising income opportunity.

One of the new MLM companies that we’re about to review is Carelumina.

First of all, I must Congratulate you for taking your time to do your own research before buying into any "seemingly good" product.

That's the way to avoid scams and find the legitimate way to make money online!

Let me be completely transparent with you, I'm not associated with Carelumina  in any form.

So, rest assured that I'm not here to pitch or sell anything to you.

Instead, I'm here to reveal why we don't really want to recommend this program to anyone.

What is Carelumina?

Carelumina is a MLM or multi-level marketing company that markets health and wellness products and personal care products.

However, there’s not a lot of information about the company. On their landing page’s marketing video, the only person introduced was Vice President of Business Development, Emil Dostovic.

Tracing his social media footprint, it appears that he’s had a modeling career before joining Carelumina. His Instagram feed showed that he’s attended fashion shows in Paris, Milan, NYC, and even on major publications worldwide.

However, I couldn’t find any information about Dostovic’s MLM history.

So this is already a huge red flag for me because I don’t want to trust a company that’s not being transparent with who the owners are.

Carelumina Product Line

Carelumina believes that they have products for everyone, as seen in their wide range of products.

They offer anywhere between cold-pressed juices to health and wellness products to personal care to “other services”. What these other services are, we never found out.

Does the Product Work?

I couldn’t find any feedback about their products, but they claim that the products are developed by a team of doctors and scientists to ensure that nutritional values are met.

However, I couldn’t find any proof that there’s indeed a team of doctors or scientists that run their product development seeing as there was no information about the company running Carelumina.

How To Make Money With Carelumina?

Carelumina provides you with your typical means of income through their MLM compensation plan:

  • Commissions from sales
  • Commissions from recruiting and building a team
  • Other bonuses

How To Get Started with Carelumina?

You’ll need to pay $200 to enroll in Carelumina’s MLM program and then subscribe to their $25 monthly autoship.

Carelumina Compensation Plan

Retail Commissions

Members of Carelumina’s MLM opportunity get paid a retail commission on sales of products and services to their retail customers.

Independent representatives earn 40% retail commission

Managers and other higher ranked members get 60% retail commission

Note that the percentage of retail commission is paid as a percentage of generated sales volume, and not the retail value of the products or services ordered.

Recruitment Commissions

You get what’s called a Fast Start Training Bonus when you enlist someone to join their new program and if they qualify for the Manager Rank. Here’s how it works:

  • The direct upline (recruiting affiliate) get a 40% Fast Start Training Bonus
  • Their upline (the affiliate who recruited the recruiting affiliate) gets a 10% bonus
  • The Fast Start Training Bonus is given as a percentage of generated sales volume.

However, Carelumina doesn’t specify the sales volume, so again, lack of information.

Residual Commissions

Residual commissions are part and parcel of any MLM compensation structure. Carelumina’s paid out through a unilevel compensation structure.

A member is placed at the top of a unilevel team and each personally enlisted member is placed directly under them at level 1. When level 1 recruits get new people, they’re placed on level 2 of the original member’s affiliate, and the level 1 recruits now have their own level 1 members.

And this goes on and on an infinite number of levels.

These commissions are given out as percentage of generated sales volume from sales and purchases of Carelumina products within the team.

The number of levels a Carelumina member earns is determined by rank:

  • Manager : 60% on level 1 and 5% on level 2
  • Senior Manager : 60% on level 1, 5% on level 2 and 2% on levels 3 to 7
  • Regional Manager : 60% on level 1, 5% on level 2 and 3% on levels 3 to 7
  • National Manager : 60% on level 1, 5% on level 2 and 4% on levels 3 to 7
  • Director : 60% on level 1, 5% on level 2 and 5% on levels 3 to 7
  • Presidential : 60% on level 1, 5% on level 2 and 6% on levels 3 to 7

I won’t go into the nitty gritty details of their compensation plan. Instead here’s a video to guide you through their business opportunity:

Carelumina Ugly Truths Revealed!

#1 Shady Company?

There’s no information as to who the owners or founders of the company are, except for who their vice president is. This is irrelevant information because you want to know if the people behind it know what they’re doing and selling.

I’m not saying that they’re an outright scam, but the lack of transparency here and there makes it shady and makes this company difficult to trust.

#2 No Income Disclosure Statement

I don’t really want to recommend a MLM company unless they have their income disclosure statement that shows that people are earning money from the program.

Anyone can say anything on Facebook or other social media platform, but the only solid proof that anyone’s made money is through this statement.

Because there’s no statement, I’m inclined to think that no one’s really made money here (except from those at the top).

#3 Autoship Telehealth Service

As it turns out, the monthly autoship you’re required to join is the Telehealth service, which can’t be sold but still requires to be paid monthly. It’s not a physical product and you can’t sell it, so why are you obligated to sign up for something you can’t get your money back from.

From the looks of their product catalog, the products are on the high-end side and are more expensive than their commercial counterparts.

What I Like About Carelumina?

Nothing. I just don’t appreciate any MLM company that’s not transparent with their customers

Is Carelumina a Scam?

From the looks of things, Carelumina appears to be a legitimate MLM company with a decent product line. However, I don’t want to recommend this program to anyone mostly because of transparency issues.

You don’t know who you’re giving your money to because there’s no information about who the owners are or what their backgrounds are in terms of MLM.

You also don’t know if people are making money because there’s no income disclosure statement anywhere.

How I Make a Living Online?

I'm not a fan of MLM, not because it's illegal or not profitable, but because of all the restrictions and the expensive costs involved.

Instead, Affiliate Marketing is my top recommended business model for anyone to make money online.

The reason is simple...

  • You don't have to recruit anyone to make money
  • You have the freedom to promote any products you want and not being restricted to only promote the products from one MLM company
  • It's Free to get started

In fact, with affiliate marketing...

I've personally created a 4-Figure Monthly Passive Income Stream and become financially independent at just 21 years old without any College degree or working experience!

Through my own hard work, I went from a broke restaurant waiter to living my dream laptop lifestyle in less than a year's time...
