Is B3 Sciences a Scam? Don’t Join Until You Read This Article…

B3 Sciences is a MLM or multi-level marketing company that operates under the health and wellness niche, specifically the fitness niche.

The company was founded by Dr. Mike Debord and launched in 2003. They currently operate out of Texas, USA.

Debord has intensive experience within the MLM industry. Prior to B3 Sciences, he was the Chief Operating Officer for NuVerus. He first joined the company in 1996.

However, I couldn’t find out what the other MLM companies that Debord was involved in. His LinkedIn profile doesn’t mention his experience with NuVerus.

B3 Sciences Product Line

B3 Sciences provides different powdered supplements for fitness enthusiasts:

1. B3 Alert – Contains 15 ingredients that can enhance focus and brain power. Costs $49.99 for a 14-day supply
2. B3 Meal – A meal replacement shake that provides healthy nutrition. Costs $59.99 for a 14-day supply
3. B3 Satisfy – A weight management product. Costs $49.99 for a 43-day supply
4. B3 Start – Daily collagen supplement. Retails for $59.99 for a 14-day supply

Their shakes aren’t the flagship products, but rather, their BFR bands or Blood Flow Restriction Bands.

Just a background, BFR or occlusion training is a form of training discovered in Japan that’s known to bring better and faster results even if you exercise with lesser time and effort.

• Helps rehabilitate injuries

Does The Product Work?

BFR training is hit or miss and is determined by a lot of factors. To say that the B3 Sciences’ bands work can just be attributed to the fact that BFR training in general is successful and works.

On the other hand, I couldn’t find any reviews about their shakes and supplements. I went through their Facebook profile but I couldn’t find reviews from just a customer.

It would be safe to assume that people bought these shakes and supplements, and found them just okay in terms of being able to enjoy the benefits of these products.

You’ll have to purchase a Success Kit for $39.99, which already covers your first year membership fees.

Then after a year you get billed a monthly fee of $4.99.

The kit gives you:

• Monthly training and webinars
• Personalized website
• Personalized back office
• Business notification system

But this kit only allows you to do retail sales for the company. If you want to enjoy the recruitment and residual bonuses, you’ll have to purchase the First Order Package priced at $579.99.

The package includes:

• B3 Bands Exercise System (2 Arm bands, 2 Leg Bands, Pump, and Case)
• Home Exercise System (Exercising tubing with 5 different resistance levels
• Gym in a Bag B3 Pack Pack

• 30 day supply of your fitness nutrition product
• Get On The Bands Marketing System (includes eligibility on compensation plan)

They have a monthly autoship program that allows you to streamline your monthly orders. Autoships are optional, but you’ll need to sign up for this to enjoy residual commissions.

B3 Sciences Compensation Plan

Their compensation plan isn’t that any different from any other MLM company. We’ll link a video at the end of this section that will explain the plan in detail.

Retail Customer Direct Sale Profit

Purchase their products at wholesale price and sell them for retail price. The difference between wholesale and retail pricing is your profit.

Retail Customer Web Sales Bonus

You earn this bonus when customers buy a B3 product off your website using the custom link you share.

Retail Customer Web Sales Achiever Bonus

When you sell $1000 from your website, you earn a 5% extra on the order bonus volume. This volume increases to 7.5% when you sell $2000 or more.

Professional Customer Sale Bonus

You get commissions when you refer personal and fitness trainers and get them to include B3 Sciences into their business. You get up to 20% bonus volume each time they order.

Here’s a more detailed explanation of their compensation plan:

#1 Products are Expensive!

Their products are more expensive than other products in the market. They’re even priced higher than their commercial counterparts.

This could be the reason why people aren’t drawn to purchasing their products. $50 to $60 for a 2-week supply is just too expensive.

#2 Very Specific Niche

The business caters to health and fitness enthusiasts, so you’re going to have to walk the walk and talk the talk.

You need to show that you’re enjoying the benefits of their products, so you’re going to have to invest in the lifestyle of going to the gym on top of eating healthy.

The reason why you need to do this is that people might not take you seriously because you’re an unfit person marketing fitness products.

#3 Monthly Autoships

Autoships are just painful to deal with because while it may provide you with a streamlined system for ordering, you have to move the products as quick as you can. Otherwise, you’re going to be stuck with a room filled with their supplements.

Their autoship program is optional, but you need to sign up for it if you want to get residual commissions.

#4 No Income Disclosure Statement

For a 17-year-old company, I was disappointed that they didn’t release any income disclosure statement. This statement acts as a reference for anyone who wants to know how much members are making per level and rank.

The lack of an income disclosure statement means that people at the lowest ranks weren’t earning enough money at all.

#1 Positive Rating with BBB

They have a positive rating with the Better Business Bureau or BBB, generating an A+ rating.

For those of you who don’t know, our reviews are affected by their BBB rating. It helps give you an idea of how well they do with customers and how they interact with them.

The fact that they have an A+ rating means that they’ve done a great job in dealing with the usual MLM issues.

#2 Decent Flagship Products

B3 Sciences’ products are decent enough if you ask me, especially for their flagship product, the B3 Bands.

There’s a growing trend for Blood Flow Restriction training, as seen from Google Trends, so there’s going to be a huge growth for this niche within the next few years.

B3 Sciences is a legitimate MLM company that markets health and fitness products. However, there’s not a lot of reason why this product is good for anyone who wants to earn a full-time income.

There’s no income disclosure statement, so we don’t really know how much people are earning.

The products are on the expensive side, which might be a reason why people aren’t earning anything. they might have difficulty selling the products.

However, there’s a chance that this might be profitable within the next few years, but we’re not betting on it.

I'm not a fan of MLM, not because it's illegal or not profitable, but because of all the restrictions and the expensive costs involved.
