What Is BonusJunkies? It’s Another Influencer Scam!

BonusJunkies is a GPT or Get-Paid-To platform where you get “hired” by them as an influencer.

They claim to be the #1 influencer platform and have also claimed that they’ve paid out more than a million dollars to their members.

Let’s pretend that BonusJunkies is a legitimate website for this section. We’re going to dissect how their program works and how you can make money from their program.

On their landing page, there will only be three things that you need to do:

1. Create an account

2. Invite your friends

3. Get paid

That sums up the entire system, but how do you get paid, you ask?

Doing Tasks

On BonusJunkies, you can make more money by doing tasks on their Task Wall. These tasks will show up depending on where you live.

Now these companies are all legitimate, and we’re thinking that BonusJunkies is affiliated with them. However, I don’t think these companies know that they’re being used as part of a scam.

Some of the tasks will have you doing things such as answering questionnaires, downloading apps, and so on.

But these never really amount to anything because there’s no proof that:

1. People got paid by doing these tasks

2. BonusJunkies is paying the amount they promised for these tasks

Which leads us to the next section...

How Does Bonus Junkies ACTUALLY Work?

The truth of the matter is that BonusJunkies will not be paying you for everything you do. You won’t even get paid for your referrals.

The reason for this is because BonusJunkies, and all the other Influencer scams out there, are running a data-harvesting scam. These scams try to get your personal information and sell them to the highest bidder.

These often get sold to hackers and even nefarious telemarketers who’ll hit you up with a lot of cold calls.

The Better Business Bureau has issued several warnings against these types of scams, stating the same things we’re saying here.

Can You Make Money with Bonus Junkies?

The answer is one big, fat NO!

You’re not getting anything for your time and effort here. Here’s how the system works.

Let’s say you did all of the tasks and you’ve accumulated a certain amount for the threshold.

Their threshold is $100, but that amount is easy to get with the amount of money they’re paying for each task.

By the time you withdraw the $100 in your balance, BonusJunkies will stop you from doing that. They’ll claim that they’ll have server difficulties, but most of the time, your account will be deleted or disqualified. They’ll tell you that they found suspicious activities on your account that led you to accumulate that amount in a short period of time.

In short, they are not going to go out of their way to pay you. You basically just gave them your personal information and more.

BonusJunkies is not meant for anyone. There are numerous red flags that we uncovered when we reviewed their program.

#1 Overly Hyped Claims

We’re not going to do it again here, but their claims are just ridiculous. So much so that they can easily be debunked by a little bit of math.

In order for BonusJunkies to pay you what they promised you, they need to be earning millions of dollars from their clients.

There’s a reason why survey sites don’t promise a lot of money when they pay you. It just doesn’t make financial sense for a business to pay out like BonusJunkies.

#2 Lack Of Company Information

We don’t know who runs the company, so we don’t know who’s using your personal information. We’re pretty sure that they’re only going to be using it for nefarious reasons, and that’s going to put you and people you know in a lot of danger.

#3 No Social Media Presence

For a social media influencer site, they don’t have any social media presence at all. You’ll see their social media icons on their landing page, but you won’t be able to click on them. They’ll only take you to the landing page again.

So they’re lying about their income and they’re lying about their own influencer status.

#4 Clone Of Other Influencer Scams

We’ve reason to believe that BonusJunkies is a clone of other influencer scams, as seen in this screenshot below:

The one thing that’s not clear to us is whether or not these are all rehashed versions of an older scam that got caught. We haven’t seen them around long enough to notice both of them at the same time.

We know that they are part of a network of influencer scams, so this might just be a copy-and-paste duplicate of the original scam.

#5 Fake Testimonials

Like their counterparts, BonusJunkies doesn’t shy away from using fake testimonials. It’s easily debunked by doing a reverse image search of the profile pictures from their supposed members.

On their landing page, you’ll find these testimonials that don’t contain images but we’re sure that these are copied from another sister site of theirs.

This is how they operate.

BonusJunkies is a scam, and there’s nothing to like about the program.

BonusJunkies is 100% a scam, and it’s part of an influencer scam network that’s proliferating the Internet over the past few months. We committed to uncovering their network one site at a time, but for now, we’ll settle with BonusJunkies.

1. There’s no verifiable piece of information about them. There’s no real company information, nor any legal document, that tells us who they are.

2. This is a data-harvesting scam that will lure you with thousands of dollars to make you fork over valuable pieces of information about yourself.

This program is stupid but dangerous. Don’t fall for it.
