What Is Trading Insight? A Very Obvious Boris Ponzi Scheme!

Trading Insight is a cryptocurrency investment MLM company that operates out of UK and Hong Kong. On their website, they also have incorporation certificates from these countries. But these are in no way an indicator that they’re legitimate. 

For MLM companies such as Trading Insight, incorporation is meaningless because of their income opportunity. 

Their marketing videos are hosted by someone named Paul Matthews. He’s also presented as the CEO of Trading Insight. Matthews has a strong European accent, which makes us suspect that this is a Boris scam (Russian Ponzi). 

In reality, Matthews is a teacher at a modelling school and his real name is Evgeny Savving.

According to his bio, he is actively working on music videos, television, and advertising projects. This doesn’t surprise us given that he’s presented himself quite well in Trading Insight’s marketing videos. 

Their domain name was registered on March 2021, so the site is a few months old. The top three traffic sources for Trading Insight are Russia, Pakistan, and Vietnam. We assume the founders are actually from one of these three countries. 

Trading Insight Product Line

Trading Insight offers no retail products or services. Members are only able to take part in the income opportunity. 

Does The Product Work?

Trading Insight claims they generate their revenue via “sophisticated algorithms”, which is fancy speak for trading bot. In reality, there is no proof that Trading Insight is running a trading bot or any algorithm for that matter. 

They also fail the Ponzi logic test. 

If they are able to generate income through their trading bot, why do they need external investments to grow their income? They could just reinvest their earnings and grow exponentially. 

The only proof of income they have is through new member investment, which is done by recruitment. 

When the recruitment stops, the money stops coming in too.

Recruitment is the only way to make money with Trading Insight.

Trading Insight membership is free, but you have invest a minimum of $250 to take part in their MLM income opportunity. This investment is converted into cryptocurrencies if opted.

Referral Commissions

Trading Insight pays out referral commissions following a unilevel compensation structure. This structure places you at the top of the tier and positions are filled out under you through direct or indirect recruitments. 

Trading Insight caps out this structure at 8 levels. Trading Insight commissions are paid out as percentage of investments made across these levels based on your rank:

• Agents earn 3% on level 1 (personally recruited members)
• Sellers earn 4.5% on level 1
• Masters earn 6% on level 1, 1% on level 2 and 0.5% on level 3
• Majors earn 8% on level 1, 1.5% on level 2, 1% on level 3 and 0.5% on level 4
• Experts earn 10% on level 1, 2% on level 2, 1.5% on level 3, 1% on level 4 and 0.5% on level 5
• Superiors earn 12% on level 1, 2.5% on level 2, 2% on level 3, 1.5% on level 4, 1% on level 5 and 0.5% on level 6
• Leaders earn 16% on level 1, 3% on level 2, 2.5% on level 3, 2% on level 4, 1.5% on level 5, 1% on level 6 and 0.5% on level 7

#1 Fake Owner

We’re not surprised that Trading Insight made use of a paid actor to pretend they’re the owner of the company. With a quick Google search, this person was easily outed. The founders of the company remain anonymous as of this writing, but we believe them to reside in Russia, Vietnam, or Pakistan. 

#2 Ponzi Scheme

The only source of income is through new member investments, which is carried out via recruitment. You are incentivized with promotions and higher ROI when you recruit people into the business. 

Let’s not forget the fact that they’re promising passive income, which constitutes securities offering no matter which part of the world you live in. Trading Insight is not registered to carry out securities offering or any transactions on behalf of their clients, so they’re committing securities fraud. 

#3 Collapsed?

Word has it that the company collapsed in May 2021. Their website and marketing videos on YouTube were deleted, but this is not going to be the last time we hear about Trading Insight. We expect them to reboot in the next few months.

There’s nothing to like about Trading Insight. 

Trading Insight is a Boris (Russian) Ponzi scheme that hides behind a trading bot ruse. It doesn’t do a good job at pretending not to be a Ponzi scheme, which is probably the reason why it collapsed. 

All the red flags of a Ponzi scheme are there, from the recruitment incentives to the useless incorporation certificates.
