What Is Clout Bucks? It’s Another One Of Those Influencer Scams!

Welcome to my Clout Bucks review!

It’s been a good while since we reviewed programs like these. They’re still the same, and proliferating similar BS as the older sites. It’s still a data-harvesting scam hiding behind a legitimate GPT business model.

The program we’re about to expose now is Clout Bucks.

First of all, I must Congratulate you for taking your time to do your own research before buying into any "seemingly good" product.

That's the way to avoid scams and find the legitimate way to make money online!

Let me be completely transparent with you, I'm not associated with Clout Bucks in any form.

So, rest assured that I'm not here to pitch or sell anything to you.

Instead, I'm here to reveal what this program is about...

What is Clout Bucks?

Clout Bucks claims to be the #1 influencer network that promises to pay you thousands of dollars for sharing posts on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.

You sign up, earn the sweet $25 signing bonus, and earn money for every click to your referral link and for doing the tasks on their page.

But what you probably don’t know is Clout Bucks, and its sister sites, are anything but legitimate. They’re nothing more than a front for a data-harvesting scam, which we will gladly explain later below.

As expected, there is no available information on who owns the company, who runs it, and where they are currently operating.

All we know is that the website’s domain name was privately registered sometime in 2019 and was renewed in 2020.

Inside Clout Bucks

Clout Bucks is free to join. You sign up on their landing page, and you’ll fill up your details such as full name, email, username, and password.

The Refer and Earn tab will take you to your referral page where you encourage people to sign up via your link to earn a commission from them. This pre-made referral message can be copied and pasted on your social media accounts.

Clout Bucks promises to pay you for:

  • Posting on social media
  • Making a promotional video and posting it on YouTube (they’ll give you the template for the title and description)
  • Referring people and having them sign up or clicking your link
  • Completing surveys
  • Taking offers

You’ll get paid handsomely and as you do these tasks, you’ll see your account balance go up. This is their way of keeping you hooked and keeping you motivated to do the tasks.

The scam comes into fruition once you attempt to cash out.

Clout Bucks Will Never Pay You!

On your first attempt to cash out, Clout Bucks’s system will stop you. They will tell you that before you can cash out, you need to do a set of tasks first to make sure that you’re not just someone spamming the heck out of the program.

They’ll ask you to complete the following tasks:

  • X number of social media posts
  • Post a video on YouTube (different from your first upload)
  • Refer X number of people
  • Generate X number of clicks on your referral link

Your account balance will also increase as you complete these tasks, so you now have more money to withdraw.

Your second attempt at cashing out will get you blocked and banned by Clout Bucks. You’ll receive an email from them, citing that they detected fraudulent activity in your account which resulted in their system blocking you.

You try to prove that your activities were legitimate but this is futile. They will not reply to you after this email has been sent.

Who's Clout Bucks For?

Clout Bucks is not meant for anyone, and we’ll tell you three reasons why.

Clout Bucks Ugly Truths Revealed!

#1 Fake Testimonials

What Is CloutBucks - Fake Testimonials

What Is CloutBucks - Fake Testimonials

As expected, the testimonials coming from Clout Bucks are all fake. These are nothing more than testimonials copied and pasted from their sister sites.

The testimonials that Clout Bucks uses are just names with random praises for the program, which is kind of lazy compared to the sister sites.

The reason why they use fake testimonials is because no one’s making any money here. Period.

#2 Scam Network

What Is CloutBucks - Spam Network

What Is CloutBucks - Spam Network

Clout Bucks is part of a big network of data-harvesting scams. Better Business Bureau has issued warnings against joining sites like Clout Bucks.

The program uses the information you give them and sells it to the black market. Hackers and spammers will buy these personal information for nefarious reasons.

The companies that are partnered with Clout Bucks for the tasks are fake and do not exist in real life. They just want to make you think you’re doing something for someone.

As you can see here, Clout Bucks just copies and pastes the website design from its sister sites and just replaces the logo.

This means that they’re going to be making more copies of their sites to generate more information from their victims.

#3 Identity Theft

Your personal information is at risk when you sign up for Clout Bucks. They have access to your full name, email, and username/password combination. The information they generate from you will be sold, or used for their identity theft.

What I Like About Clout Bucks?

There’s nothing to like about Clout Bucks.

Is Clout Bucks a Scam?

Clout Bucks is a data-harvesting scam in disguise. It claims to be an influencer network with legitimate GPT business opportunity, but it’s far from that. Just like its sister sites, the site’s design is similar to the other scams we’ve exposed over the last few months.

The testimonials are fake, and probably come from the older versions of the scam.

Your information will be sold to the highest bidder, usually scammers or hackers, so you put yourself at risk for identity theft.

Don’t trust this program!
