What is ATPAYS? Pay For This GPT Survey Panel!

ATPAYS is a GPT/Survey site that provides members the opportunity to make money online doing random tasks. 

ATPAYS stands for Activity That Pays. Their domain name has changed every now and then, so they’re kind of all over the place. But the look of their website is still the same, which looks like it was designed by a high schooler trying to pass their computer class project. 

Their website’s legal documents put them following Nigerian Law, as seen here, but their last domain update was done in India.

We’re surprised to find out that you need to pay a membership fee of $3.87 (N$1,500) to get started with ATPAYS. 

All legitimate GPT and survey sites will not charge you for joining, but this one does. We found this weird because you’re actually paying to get into an income opportunity that pays out in cents. 

That’s not how GPT and survey sites are supposed to work! They’re supposed to incentive you to sign up for the program, not extort money out of you. 

How Does ATPAYS Pay?

Assuming you forked over $3 to take part in their income opportunity, ATPAYS pays out twice a week every Monday and Thursday. 

If you’re not a paid member, you’re only paid out once every 25th of the month. 

You can cash out a minimum of N$3500 (US$8.48). Additionally, to qualify to cash out, you have to: 

1. Refer three people and have activity points between 1 to 10,000.
2. Refer four people if your activity points are between 10,000 to 14,000. 
3. Refer five people if your activity points are higher than 15,000.

To put it simply, if you earn more, you’re burdened with more requirements to cash out. To me, this is just counterproductive because this will not incentivize people to earn more. 

How To Make Money With ATPAYS

There are different ways to make money from ATPAYS:

1. ATPAYS Affiliate Earnings (AAE) - 67.5% on each referral or  ₦1000 for each person you referred to.
2. Registration Bonus
3. Daily Visit or Simply Logging in to your Account -  100 AAP (or ATPAYS Activity Points)
4. Viewing Posts or Reading News and Blogs - 3 AAPoints
5. Posting Approved News or Jokes - 100 AAP Points
6. Selling Codes (for verified distributors)
7. Sponsored or Sharing Posts - 200 AAP Points or ₦200
8. Weekly Quiz and Giveaways - cash prizes or recharge card
9. Referral Contests - cash prize
10. Marketplace, a minimart where members can advertise.
11. Bringing Advertisements - 50% commission

Note that the Activity Points are not the equivalent of Nigerian Naira. It carries a lower point value than the real money, as seen below:

ATPAYS is not meant for anyone, and we’ll show you several red flags that we found in their program.

#1 Unknown Origin

We don’t know where this country is operating. They’re all varied, ranging from Nigeria, India, to somewhere in Pakistan. 

We don’t even know who the owners are. All we know is that the creator is a “visionary entrepreneur”. 

#2 Payment First!

It’s really weird that they’re asking you to pay to join their online opportunity. They’re not a MLM or affiliate marketing program where capital is needed, or that profits are somewhat guaranteed. 

But ATPAYS doesn’t really guarantee anything. In fact, they make you jump through hoops to get paid. 

The paywall they have is literally nothing more than just a quick way to get money from you. 

#3 Privacy Issues

Their Terms and Conditions document will literally allow them to track your activity, and we’re talking about your browser activity too. 

There’s no coverage for you on what they will do with your personal information, and with the second point, we believe they’re going to sell this to people who might do something bad with your info.

#4 Payment Issues

Here’s what’s funny. They will tell outright that there’s a possibility you might not get paid if you don’t generate revene. It says so right here on their legal document. 

They won’t even be liable for it. That’s what’s messed up here. 

You’re paying for membership into an income opportunity and they’re not even guaranteeing you making money? Well, that completely sucks big time!

There’s nothing to like about ATPAYS. We have enough reason to believe this is a data farming scam.

ATPAYS doesn’t even try hard to hide their true intentions. Their legal documents allow them to track your movement while not guaranteeing your income through the program. 

Their domain registration is all over the place, so there’s no way to tell who owns or runs the program. The secrecy combined with their BS legal documents just means that they’re up to no good. 

But what’s really awful here is that they’re making you pay money so they can do these things to you. We don’t recommend this program to anyone.
