Is R Network a Scam? It’s a Savings-Based MLM. Here’s What We Know.

R Network is a MLM or multi-level marketing company that sells different products and services. To do that, you’d have to become a R Network member.

The goal of these products and services is to help you save money. Their products and services are meant to help you get discounts on anything, from travels to bookings, to mobile phone usage.

According to their website, there are five people named as founders of R Network. But they don’t mention that directly in their website. These people are Richard Smith, Trent Walker, Roger Taylor, Kevin Wiscombe, and Troy Muhlestein.

The current president, Richard Smith, has experience in direct-selling and claims that he launched four companies that reached billion-dollar profits (don’t a lot of MLM companies claim this?).

Roger Taylor’s background is in executive management and marketing, while Trent Walker’s the founder and CEO of Netchain2.com.

Kevin Wiscombe’s background is in finance and mortgage industries. Troy Muhelstein’s background is in manufacturing and executive management.

Muhlestein and Smith also co-founded the “social membership network” called Divee and Nui Social.

R Network Product Line

As I mentioned earlier, R Network has different products and services to help you save money.

R Perks

When you become a R Network Charter member or FANN member, you can take advantage of R Perks. You can save up on money each time, you dine, watch a movie, or even play a round of golf. This is only available to members living in the USA and Canada.

R Travel

This is an exclusive travel portal where members get discounts and other deals for traveling. R Network members also save money on hotel bookings, car rentals, and flights just to name a few.

R Network Concierge

When you become a R Network, you have access to their R Network Concierge, which is a person who can assist members on how to get the best deals and discounts. We don’t know what kind of discounts and deals you’re going to get.

R Mobile

This allows you to save money on your mobile phone bills. This one also has a concierge where a person is assigned to help you reduce your monthly phone bill significantly.

R Autos

This is a concierge car buying service created by R Network. This service allows you to buy a car without having to leave your home. You can purchase a car within the comforts of your own home thanks to the R Network Concierge service.

You’ll have to inform the concierge the ideal make, model, and other specifications of the car that you want. Then they’ll locate the ideal car, inspect it, and purchase it at a cheaper price. This will be delivered to your home once sale has been finalized.

R Mortgage

You can apply for a mortgage straight from the comforts of your own home thanks to R Network’s Concierge service. You just need to fill out the application form and provide supporting documents, and the concierge will give you the best rates possible.

R Meds

You can also save money on meds as well as purchase medications without insurance requirements, co-pays, deductibles, and health restrictions with R Meds. You’ll be given a pre-activated card after signing up, which you can use immediately. This card is also accepted in pharmacies nationwide.

R Bank

This is still unavailable at this time of writing, but according to their website, they’ll be offering banking services soon which includes savings and checking accounts, loans, debit cards, mortgage, and bills payments.

Revv Card

R Network has its own rewards cards through Revv card. This allows you to earn rewards and get discounts on transactions.

Does The Product Work?

Well, all of these products and services are meant to help you save money but it’s kind of difficult to gauge how well these products work.

Obviously, it would greatly rely on how much money you’re able to save from using their services. But at the same time, you’re paying into the membership so whatever you’re saving has to make up for the monthly membership cost. If the savings aren’t enough to recoup your expenses and then some, then their program’s clearly not working.

You can make money with R Network through commissions by recruiting people into the program. You’re basically selling a membership into the program, and then your incentives come from when people sign up.

How To Get Started with R Network?

Charter Members

You can join as a Charter Member so you can experience the benefits of R Network. Charter members also get to join the Facebook group where they’ll find out about local gatherings, trainings, and calls.

You’ll have to pay $50 per month to maintain your status as an R Network Charter member.

Fann Club

You can also sign up through R Network’s FANN Club, which allows you to enjoy R Mobile, R Mortgage, R Autos, R Meds, and R Petmeds.

This is free to join.

R Network Compensation Plan

To get into their compensation plan, you have to be a Charter Member. FANN Club members are not qualified to earn commissions.

T3 Bonus

Sign up your first three team members to receive the T3 Bonus, which is about $50 a month.

Power3 Rank

You receive this bonus if you can enroll three other Charter members within your first 7 days as a Charter member. This also qualifies you to unlock the Team Building Structure.

Founder Rank

When you enroll 10 new affiliates, you have a chance to re-enter the Team Building Structure with a new Charter Member position. You can also teach your first 3 members to replicate everything you’ve done.

Power 3 Compensation Plan

Personal Enrollment Network (PEN)

This is where all of your personally recruited affiliates are placed. When you enroll 3 new affiliates, you unlock 3 tiers and receive a bonus of $50. This bonus is continual as long as your affiliates maintain their membership.

Synergistic Team Building Structure (TBS)

This follows a 3x10 structure where the first tier has 3 positions and second has 9 positions. The third tier has 27 positions and goes on until you reach the tenth tier which has 88,572 positions.

Team members are added left and right on odd number tiers and right to left on even number tiers. 

#1 Confusing List of Products and Services

R Network’s list of products and services is no doubt impressive, but it’s just as confusing as well. It looks to me that R Network’s committed to serving everything and nothing all at once.

Each service and product provided is too different from each other that you have to wonder if they even have the manpower for their Concierge service to accommodate their members’ needs.

#2 Questionable Banking Arm

Building a bank is no joke. It requires extensive knowledge of how the banking industry works and it takes years of experience working within the bank to understand its processes.

As far as we know, they have a banking service to be made available online but I don’t think their founders are capable of handling their banking feature.

I’m not holding it against them, mind you. It just helps to be extra cautious here.

#3 No "Savings" Here!

Well if you join the FANN club, you might be able to save a few bucks. But if you’re signing up as a Charter member, then you’ll have to pay $50 a month to enjoy all of the products and services.

But technically, you’re still $50 short because your savings has to make up for the monthly cost. You’d have to save more than $50 to be able to account for saving.

So if you saved $55 this month, you technically just saved $5 because you had to recoup your monthly membership cost.

#4 Recruitment Incentives are Fishy!

If you noticed, their compensation plan incentivizes recruitment. For the uninformed, this is considered a red flag. According to the FTC guidelines, this is a red flag that might indicate the program is a pyramid scheme.

Now, we don’t have proof that R Network is a pyramid scheme. This too much focus on recruitment may be negated by the fact that there are tangible products and services that members can avail of.

However, I just don’t think it’s enough to sell the membership to help people save a lot of money when they have to spend money first.

#1 Flexible Membership Options

The flexible membership options provide some form of saving grace for R Network. This means that you can try out their program for free through their FANN Club if you just want to save money on mobile phone bills, meds, and so on. But to get the full features, you’ll have to sign up with their monthly membership.

R Network is as legitimate as it could get, but we’re just not convinced that this could give you a source of full-time income.

• You’re basically just selling a membership into products and services that could help you save money. Your incentives are from recruiting if you want to enjoy some form of passive income.
• To save money, you have to spend money first which is counter-productive with the program’s goals.

However, there’s no harm in checking out this site if you are curious on how much money you can save using their products and services.
