Giftloop Review – Can You Earn Money Using Your Phone?

Giftloop is a mobile app that will allow you to generate some form of income by doing certain tasks daily. 

On initial research, it’s a legitimate app with a legitimate income opportunity that pays its users. There’s nothing suspect going on around here. 

We’ll go over their income opportunity in the next section.

It’s free to sign up for Giftloop, but it’s currently restricted to US residents and to the Android OS only. There’s no mention of whether they’ll expand to other countries and use other phone OS. 

How Do You Make Money?

There are several ways to make money from Giftloop, which is quite impressive given its platform.

Referral Program

Inviting a friend to use the app will earn you up to 11,000 points in your account. Note that this doesn’t mean every referral is worth 11,000 points. 

Referrals pay out a maximum of 11,000 points, and it’s a one-time earning. You don’t get to earn recurring points for your referrals. 

7-Day Streak

Using the app for 7-days straight will earn you 2,500 coins, which is a great incentive. Just login to the app every day and you’ll get the bonus regardless if you do activities when you login or not. 

Installing Apps

The easiest way to make money here is through installing apps because they offer the most points. Just be sure to read the rules or terms and conditions before you install the app on your phone. 

You need to complete certain tasks within the app as well before you can be credited the points promised. Once you get the points, it’s time to delete the app.

Swipe & Earn

You access a GIF viewing site on the app and earn money just by swiping through them. Viewing each GIF will earn you some coins and you’ll be able to collect them once you’re done. 

Just be sure to press the “Collect Coins'' button before you exit. Otherwise, you won’t be able to get credited the coins and if you exit without collecting, the coins will disappear.

The Offer Wall

You can take up surveys, quizzes, and other tasks on their Offer Walls. You can earn a few coins by completing them. 

The higher points come from paid offers, which you’ll need to sign up for using your credit card information. Just be sure to cancel any subscription you make through the app otherwise you’ll get charged after the free trial ends. 

Locking Your Phone

You can also earn coins when you lock your phone after the app has been installed. Giftloop displays ads on your locked screen and you’ll be credited for viewing the app on your lock screen. 

Just unlock your phone to get rid of the ad. The ads will not show up when your phone is unlocked too. 

Charging Your Phone

Charging your phone while keeping it locked will also earn you some coins because the ads will run on your lock screen. No need to interact with these ads. This is a great way to passively earn coins while you’re not using your phone.

How Are You Paid?

The coins you earn from doing these tasks can be converted into Amazon Gift Cards, or donated to a charity of your choice. We don’t know if you’re able to convert it into real cash though. 

Some sites have reported you can’t while others say you can’t.

The minimum amount for withdrawal is $10, or roughly 200,000 coins.

Giftloop is meant for people who use their phone a lot, but it’s not something that you can use to get a full-time income. 

#1 Confusing Point System

Giftloop uses a confusing point-conversion system, which makes it difficult to estimate your earnings at a glance. 

The points you earn vary in terms of the tasks you do, and they also differ in amounts. But everything that you need to do is just hit 200,000 coins because that’s what you need to get their rewards. 

#2 High Payout Threshold

You need a minimum withdrawal amount of $10. While it’s relatively lower compared to the $25 industry average, the tasks aren’t going to make it easy for you to reach that amount quickly. 

You need to refer people and take up paid offers to get to this amount within a reasonable period of time. 

#3 Limited to Android and US Citizens

The fact that it’s restricted to US citizens and Android users means that it’s not available to everyone. 

There’s no mention of whether they’ll expand to other OS and other countries. Granted, they’re relatively new so they might be testing out the waters first.

#4 Low Income Potential

It’s a given that this program offers a low-income potential. You’re looking at probably earning $10 in a couple of months. 

We haven’t read anything bad about people not getting paid, so that’s a positive on their end. It just means that they’re really paying people what they’re owed. There’s also no mention of any hidden charges, which is usually a common complaint with most survey sites.

There’s nothing to like about Giftloop. It’s just one of those apps that will make you a few bucks here and there, but nothing consistent really.

Giftloop is just one of those mobile phone apps that will help you make some money, albeit not a lot. 

The income potential is low so you’ll have to consistently use the app if you want to reach the threshold quickly. 

It’s only limited to Android users and to people living in the USA. 

On the upside, there are no complaints about people not getting paid. While it means they did pay out their users, it could also mean that not a lot of people have been paid out yet. 

But if you want something to do on your phone that will earn you a few bucks every month, Giftloop might be worth checking out.
