Is CashGem a Scam? It Is One Of Those Annoying Influencer Scams!

Welcome to my CashGem review!

Here we have another influencer scam that’s proliferating the Internet. We don’t know how many of them are online right now, and how many more are next in line once this batch is shut down.

There’s more of them to come, we assure you. We’ve been exposing these scams since 2020 and every month we see a couple of them.

This new version right now is called CashGem.

First of all, I must Congratulate you for taking your time to do your own research before buying into any "seemingly good" product.

That's the way to avoid scams and find the legitimate way to make money online!

Let me be completely transparent with you, I'm not associated with CashGem in any form.

So, rest assured that I'm not here to pitch or sell anything to you.

What is CashGem?

CashGem is an influencer program that claims to be the “#1 cashing network in the world”. This is a different claim made by its other influencer sister sites, but still the same point.

They’re built differently in a way because they actually have pictures of their management team, or whoever is behind this scam.

But as you can see here, these are nothing more than stock photos. The names are probably faker than their site and their promises, so no sense into investigating these people further. The business they thrive in anonymity.

The site is creative enough to put up logos of some big brands like Norton and Amazon. These are nothing more than just poor attempts to make themselves look legitimate.

Inside CashGem

CashGem is free to join. In fact, they’ll even pay you a $30 signup bonus. You just need to sign up with your email, verify it, and you’re good to go.

When you login the first time, you’ll even see that $30 bonus reflected on your account balance. Neat, huh?

But this is just a ploy to make you think they’ll pay you for doing the tasks.

How to Make Money with CashGem?

Is CashGem a Scam - How To Make Money

Is CashGem a Scam - How To Make Money

There are tasks you’ll see in your member’s area. These will change every day, but the pay amount will stay within the same range.

You will be doing these tasks:

  • $15 for every referral
  • $2 every time someone clicks on your referral link
  • $45 for completing surveys, taking quizzes, etc.
  • $50 for posting videos on social media like Youtube, Facebook, Instagram promoting CashGem
  • $100 for making videos on TikTok and Snapchat
  • $35 for downloading apps

The tasks that have you downloading apps or have you subscribing to any program that requires personal information (email, phone number, full name, home address, and so on) come from unknown sources. But these will pay you a lot of money just to entice you to do them.

The program comes with a $200 minimum threshold, so you’ll need to reach that amount before you can cash out. But with the amount of money they’re paying you, it shouldn’t take you more than a couple of hours to get to this level.

When you attempt to cash out, this is where it starts to fall apart.

Why Don't They Pay?

When you start to cash out on the initial $200, they’ll actually prevent you from doing that. They’ll tell you that the system will send you a short list of verification tasks that will let them know that the tasks were done legitimately and that you’re just not spamming signups on different accounts.

You’ll be asked to generate an X number of referral signups, X number of referral clicks, post a video on YouTube or TikTok, and some other tasks. Don’t worry because they’ll pay you though.

Once you complete the tasks, you’ll see your account earnings increase because of the tasks you completed.

The next time you attempt to cash out, you will be kicked out of the program and you’ll be blocked. You’ll receive an email from CashGem’s support team and tell you that they found fraudulent activity on your account and that they have to forfeit your earnings.

On top of that, you won’t ever get paid as well because their terms and conditions mention that people 99 years and older will be eligible for payment.

Total BS, right?

Data-Harvesting Scam In Action

In reality, CashGem and the other influencer programs out there that we’ve been exposing are nothing more than data-harvesting sites. These sites will redirect you to a spam agency that pays out CashGem and the other programs for $1 per traffic to their site.

And yet, CashGem is paying you $45 for these tasks. Where do you think CashGem gets their income? From Narnia.

What they really do here is that the tasks will harvest all data they could from you, and even get your personal login information from the credentials you used when you signed up for the program.

CashGem Ugly Truths Revealed!

#1 Fake Owners

Like we told you before, CashGem operates in anonymity. They will never tell you who are running the program. This is a way for them to avoid legal liability for everything that they are trying to do.

#2 Fake Starting Date

Is CashGem a Scam - WhoIs Info

CashGem, like its sisters, claim that they were founded back in 2015, but their domain info registration proves otherwise. The site was created and went online in April 2020.

So everything they claim to have ever done on their website are all false because these were dated before 2020.

#3 Fake Payment Proofs

Is CashGem a Scam - Fake Payment Proofs

Is CashGem a Scam - Fake Payment Proofs

Their payment proofs are completely BS because they were made before 2020, their actual creation date. The page shows you with these payment proofs and happy members, but they’re all generated randomly by their creative department. It doesn’t really take that much to copy and paste earnings from a legitimate survey site.

#4 Tasks Are Fake!

The tasks on CashGem and its sister sites are all fake. These are going to redirect you to the spam agencies that are paying them money for your traffic and personal information. A legitimate survey or GPT site will never pay you this much money because the business model does not support that amount paid out to its existing members at any given time.

What I Like About CashGem?

There’s nothing to like about CashGem.

Is CashGem a Scam?

CashGem is another one of those influencer scams that’s proliferating the Internet. The program is a clone of the other versions, and we believe they’re not going to stop.

The red flags of the programs are all the same. The fake start date, the fake testimonials, and fake payment proofs are just the tip of the iceberg.

Stay away from this program.
