My Passive Trades Review - Another Obvious Pyramid Scheme?!

My Passive Trades Review – Another Obvious Pyramid Scheme?!

Welcome to My Passive Trades review!

Investment schemes can be found almost anywhere online. A quick Google search will lead you to the legitimate trading platforms mixed in with some questionable products that somehow made it to the top.

These questionable investment schemes end up being patronized by a lot of people because of the sales hype, the pictures of mansions and fancy sports cars, and an overpainted picture of passive income.

That’s why trading and investments have gotten such a bad reputation lately. These questionable schemes have done nothing but take people’s money without giving them something in return.

Today, we’re taking a look at one of these schemes called My Passive Trades and reveal what makes it so questionable by our standards.

First of all, I must Congratulate you for taking your time to do your own research before buying into any "seemingly good" product.

That's the way to avoid scams and find the legitimate way to make money online!

Let me be completely transparent with you, I'm not associated with My Passive Trades in any form.

So, rest assured that I'm not here to pitch or sell anything to you.

What is My Passive Trades?

There are two things to take note of when you hear about the company, My Passive Trades, for the first time: its trading/investment opportunity and its recruitment incentives.

My Passive Trades is a trading platform based in the United Kingdom and claims that it has multiple ways for its investors to make money. They also market to Internet marketers who want to drive traffic to their website. How’s that possible?

Well, My Passive Trades allows you to invest in cryptocurrency and purchase ad credits from them at the same time. My Passive Trades advertises your website on their site through their PPC ads, text ads, login ads, and then some.

They also have an affiliate program in place where you earn money by recruiting people into the program.

The owner of the website is Darren Bradbury, or Darren Riviera to some websites. He’s a real person and was involved with some questionable ventures prior to My Passive Trades.

  • He was involved in cryptocurrency schemes such as Powerhouse Mining, Powerhouse Feeder, and Powerhouse RevShare.
  • He was involved in several questionable schemes such as My Ad Story, My 24 Hour Income, Leased Ad Space, Stiforp, Zarfund, and Giftobit.
  • In 2018, he launched Chatabox, which is a social media platform that allows you to make money online.
  • On Jan 25 2018, he also started a company called Polaris Universal Ltd based in Yeovil, UK. Polaris Universal LTD is the trading name of My Passive Trades and has other incorporators namely Ahmed Nabil El Amrani, Eldon Carvalho, and Lidija Ikasovic. Carvalho has resigned since, and except for Bradbury, all of the remaining incorporators live overseas.

Inside My Passive Trades

Signing up for My Passive Trades is free, and it doesn’t require you to shell out for membership fees. However, you’re required to invest to start earning money.

The minimum amount for investing is $5 for their adpacks, so it’s quite lower compared to other investment programs. However, the key to earning more is to invest more.

Their Adpacks are advertising packages that are comprised of text, video, banners, and other advertising media.

If you want to join their trading school matrix cycler program, it will cost you $549.99.

What Are My Passive Trades Products?

My Passive Trades provides what they call “Passive Trades Pack”. You can buy a single trade pack for $5, and members are required to purchase a couple of them to start earning.

The ROI is leveled at 1.25 per day, but trading packs expire after 125 days. You’re getting a total of 125% return for each pack you purchase.

What is My Passive Trades Compensation Plan?

On top of their product packs, you also have their compensation plan, which is built sort of like a MLM comp plan. You can earn additional income when you recruit people.

Another product they offer is Trading School, which has two mentoring levels. The first plan is Mentoring Level 1, which costs $99.99 for a position. The second plan is Private Mentoring VIP, which costs $450.

You earn 8% for people you recruit on the first level, and 3% on the second level.

Their matrix compensation plan follows a 3x1 matrix cycle with 2 levels. Once the first matrix tier is filled, you then cycle a commission and move on to the next matrix cycler tier to do the same.

You only get paid when all of the positions on the matrix are filled with paid members. Here’s how it works:

  • The first matrix costs $99 to enter (Mentor), and you earn $33 per recruited member and $33 per position filled once completed. This then starts a new $99.99 tier once this level is completed.
  • The second-tier costs $450 to enter (VIP). You earn $150 per recruited member and $150 per position filled once completed. Once completed, another $450 tier opens up.

Who's My Passive Trades For?

My Passive Trades is not something that I would recommend to anyone because we found several disturbing things about it.

My Passive Trades Ugly Truths Revealed!

#1 Owner's Credibility Is Questionable

The owner has been involved with several questionable schemes, including multiple investment scams in the last few years. It’s surprising that My Passive Trades has been operating for more than 2 years now, but you can’t deny the fact that there might be something going on here.

#2 Unspecified Details About Investments

There are no details as to how these investments are carried out. There’s no trading bot or algorithm advertised, so how are these trades carried out?

No one knows, apart from the owner and the incorporators.

How are profits for your ROI generated then? Well, it’s obvious that the ROI promised is generated by the people who sign up for the program. There’s just no other way for the money to keep circulating other than to recruit people.

For me, this is a big red flag because it’s kind of built like a pyramid scheme.

#3. Unregistered Traders

My Passive Trades is a legitimate company and they’re registered with the UK government, but it doesn’t mean that they can carry out trading activities. To trade in the UK, they need to be authorized by the FCA or Financial Conduct Authority, which is the UK’s counterpart for the SEC.

A quick search over at the FCA revealed that Polaris has not been registered, so they are doing illegal trades.

What I Like About My Passive Trades?

Lots of questionable issues have left me with nothing to like about the program. My Passive Trades is just questionable in itself.

Is My Passive Trades a Scam?

My Passive Trades is legitimate in terms of being registered with the UK government, but their income opportunity is questionable at best. To me, they look like one big pyramid scheme under the guise of an investment program.

Verdict Scam Template
  • There’s just a lot of incentives for recruiting people into the program. Otherwise, there would be no more money coming in.
  • The owner has been involved in questionable scams in the past, so it’s not surprising why we don’t really trust his company immediately.
  • The investment details are not really clear, nor do we even know if trades are even carried out.

Stay away from this program because this might be a pyramid scheme.
