Is Real Estate The Best Side Hustle?

Real estate is not everyone’s cup of tea. Literally. This isn’t a business model where you just wake up one day and realize that this is what you’re going to do. 

Despite being over glorified by a lot of TV shows that showcase people buying and selling houses and making a fortune, this business model is filled with misconceptions. 

Learning about the real estate market and how to make your money and properties work for you are just the tip of the iceberg. 

And it takes more than just a good eye for property and some negotiating skills for you to succeed in this market.

EYL University is meant for real estate investors who are already established and who have made some gains on their investments.

Because the founders have succeeded in generating income from different angles, it’s difficult to trace how much they make from real estate investments alone. 

#2 Real Estate Is Expensive

As I mentioned earlier, real estate is an expensive investment. You have to purchase an entire property, get it fixed up, and then sell it for a margin.

Unless you’re renting your property, there’s no fixed monthly income here but rather, you’re on a time-crunch to make money as soon as possible. 

If you noticed those real estate TV shows where they flip (buy and sell) houses, they’ll show how much they spent on the property and how much they spent on fixing it, and then show you how much they made from selling the property. 

This is where your network comes in because you have to dispose of the property as soon as it’s finished. Otherwise, your property is going to deteriorate in value and in quality the longer it waits.

Take note that real estate investing, as a whole, is not something that you can just decide to do because it has a lot of ups and downs.
