What is ShareCash?

ShareCash markets itself as a legitimate GPT or get-paid-to platform. GPT platforms are legitimate business models based on paying people for doing certain tasks.

However, ShareCash is the complete opposite and does nothing of what they advertise or claim.

There’s no information about who founded the company, or who even owns it. They don’t even tell you where they’re currently located. All that they tell you is that you’re going to be an influencer and they’ll tell you that you’re going to earn big.

Why does that sales pitch sound so familiar?

Well that’s because the scam network that ShareCash might be a part of uses the same pitch.

Inside ShareCash

Okay how does ShareCash generate income through their tasks?

Companies hire companies like ShareCash by giving them tasks that require users to participate in. These tasks range anywhere from watching videos to doing surveys to clicking on ads.

ShareCash and other GPT sites will share part of their revenue to their users. Each task completed is worth a few cents to about a dollar.

But ShareCash claims that it’s paying more than the average of what legitimate GPT sites are paying. I’m talking about getting paid $30 per task based on their $30 Task Wall.

That’s crazy, right? If it’s a legitimate GPT site, there’s no way in heck that they’re going to pay that much to thousands of users. It doesn’t make sense for the business model.

But we all know that ShareCash isn’t a legitimate GPT site at all.

Here's How the ShareCash.co Scam Works

ShareCash baits you into the promise of making $500 per day without doing any actual work, and then even incentivize you to sign up by claiming they’ll pay you $25.

They even call you an “influencer” because that’s what you are, and it’s a pretty awesome title to have too.

But let’s assume that you joined ShareCash. You login to their member’s area and see the tasks that they’re going to pay you for. Supposedly.

Here’s how the scam works:

  • You’re given a referral link so you can earn whenever someone signs up through your link. They even say that you’ll get paid $2 just by someone clicking on it. You earn $10 when someone signs up.
  • You get $30 for completing the tasks on the Task Wall.
  • You get $50 for creating YouTube videos promoting ShareCash.
  • You’re able to cash out when you reach $25 on your account, on top of your $25 sign-up bonus.

But when you try to cash out for the first time, they actually tell you that there are additional requirements for you to fulfill.

  • You need to refer 5 people to the platform
  • Complete 5 tasks on the $30 Task Wall
  • 20 clicks on your referral link
  • Reach a minimum of $500 in your total earnings

But wait, why am I being told to reach $500 when I just need to withdraw $25? It doesn’t make sense right.

Let’s assume that you worked through these requirements and now you’re able to cash out $25 and then your $500 earnings on top of the other bonuses. Big whoop, right?

WRONG!

The payment will never take place. Not only will they not pay you, but they’ll also ban your account and give you this message. They’ll tell you that they found out that you frauded your way out by faking your clicks and links.

They advise you to contact the Fraud Department, but no one’s going to answer you because the email address provided is also fake.

You eventually manage to do so and you can finally cash your money out… Yayyy!

You hit the “Request Payment” button.

ShareCash.co even gives you a payment number, tells you that your payment is due in 1-2 weeks and that in the meantime, you should keep completing tasks in order to further increase your earnings.

Unfortunately, your payment is NEVER going to actually take place…

And not only ShareCash.co won’t pay you a single dime but it will also ban your account using as an excuse that your clicks and referrals were fake (see the message right below):

When you try to contact ShareCash’s Fraud Department as suggested, no one will ever answer to you because as we’ll see later on, the email address the platform provided to you is fake.

What can you do? Absolutely nothing at this point. There’s no other information provided to get in touch with the owners or other support team, so your hardwork is left in the air.

How Much Does ShareCash.co Cost?

ShareCash is free to join, but we’re going to give you a few reasons why this isn’t worth your time at all.

The real danger here is that you’re giving out your contact information, which is probably going to be sold to market research companies. You’re going to receive a lot of spam from these companies.

Who's ShareCash For?

This company is not for anyone at all. I wouldn’t even recommend this program to people I don’t like. It’s just that shameful in terms of what it tries to market, and it makes other legitimate GPT sites look bad.

I repeat: this is not meant for anyone!

ShareCash Ugly Truths Revealed!

#1 Fake Proofs of Income

One of the biggest and easiest lie that we’ve disproved here about ShareCash is their proof of income. They have several screenshots claiming that members have made money from their program, and they’ve posted these on their landing page.

What Is ShareCash - Fake Payment

So how did we know that these were fake? Easy. A quick WhoIs query revealed that the website was launched on November 25th 2019.

The income claims that the members presented date back as early as February and March the same year.

How did people earn money from a site that didn’t exist nine months later?

#2 Fake Testimonials!

On top of the fake income claims, they also have a terrible way of presenting their testimonials. They didn’t even try hard enough to make these unique or sincere at all.

Let’s take a look at the testimonials we found on their landing page.

And then here’s the same set of testimonials from their sister site called OG Bucks.

All they did was change the title mentioned in these testimonials and that was it.

What about the video testimonials then?

We’re pretty sure those are fake too. You can get these spokesperson-types of videos from a site called Fiverrfor a mere $5.

#3 Unrealistic Claims and More Lies

Just like its testimonials and income claims, ShareCash blatantly lies about itself and its achievements. On their About Us page, they mentioned that they started out in 2015. We all know that’s completely a lie.

Then they tell people that they started to generate attention and that they’ve been featured by the top media companies.

A quick Google search locating any mention of ShareCash proves otherwise.

They even say that ShareCash was featured on Forbes, but there’s no way that a publication like Forbes would ever get their hands dirty with any GPT site.

These claims and more were easily debunked by a Google search, so there’s no point in unraveling more of them.

The worst part here is that their About Us page is a direct rip-off from their sister sites too.

#4 Fake Contact Information

Email-checker.net is a handy little site that tells me whether or not an email is real. We checked their email address provided: hello@sharecash.co, and this is what we found out.

What Is ShareCash - Fake Email Check

It turns out their email address is fake as heck too.

#5 Unable to Cashout

The biggest con here is that you’re never going to be able to cash out your hard-earned money. We’ve revealed this in the section above.

But this is a very common MO for a lot of these GPT sites that try to scam you. It’s an even more common MO for the scams within their network.

If you look at the amount of money they’re paying out to their members, you’ll realize that there’s no way that businesses hiring ShareCash is paying that much to compensate the members.

Time for some quick math then.

Let’s just say that you are able to cash out $50 ($25 from your tasks and then $25 from your sign-up bonus). If you have 10,000 members cashing out $50, that’s $500,000 on any given period. If an average of 1,000 members cash out $50 every day for the next 30 days, that’s $1,500,000 a month!

Do you think ShareCash is generating that much money from their clients? I don’t think so. Their income claims just doesn’t make sense with how the business model is supposed to turn out.

What I Like About ShareCash?

There’s nothing to complement about this program. This is a terrible scam and it’s just so shameful in what it does.

Is ShareCash a Scam?

ShareCash doesn’t try so hard to mask itself as a legitimate company. A quick Google search here and there easily disproves the lies on their landing page.

Verdict Scam Template
  • Their income claims and testimonials are easily debunked, and proved that these were copied from their other sister sites.
  • There’s no owner information posted anywhere, let alone a legit contact info, so this is a red flag.
  • You can’t cash out no matter how hard you try. You’re going to get banned if you try to cash out, saying that you faked your way through your earnings.

Stay away from this program!
