What Is Cloud 9 Life? A Brand New MLM Company?
Welcome to my Cloud 9 Life review!
One of the most common, and possibly the most competitive, niches in the MLM industry is the health and wellness niche. If you were ever introduced into MLM companies, you were probably recruited into a company that sold supplements, skin care, and more.
On our Recommended list of programs even, we have a few MLM companies that belong to the Health and Wellness niche.
Today, we’re going to review a MLM company called Cloud 9 Life and find out if it meets our standards.
First of all, I must Congratulate you for taking your time to do your own research before buying into any "seemingly good" product.
That's the way to avoid scams and find the legitimate way to make money online!
Let me be completely transparent with you, I'm not associated with Cloud 9 Life in any form.
So, rest assured that I'm not here to pitch or sell anything to you.
Instead, I'm here to reveal what this brand new company is all about...
Cloud 9 Life Review Summary

Summary: Cloud 9 Life is a health and wellness MLM company that's been around for a few years, so it's relatively new. It's not something that we just want to recommend just yet. There's no proof that people (outside of management) are making money, and they're competing in a very saturated market.
What is Cloud 9 Life?
Cloud 9 Life is a MLM or multi-level marketing company that belongs under the health and wellness niche. They’re a recently new MLM company since it’s only a few years old if we were to base it on their domain’s registration.
The CEO of the company is AK Khalil, who’s had quite an extensive experience with MLM’s prior to Cloud 9 Life. Back in 2013, he was the president of a MLM company called Zrii, then went on to become the CEO of Gold Canyon in 2017. Gold Canyon recently closed its doors around 2018.
Cloud 9 Life registered the domain name in 2017 and was updated just this year.
Cloud 9 Life Product Line
Cloud 9 Life offers nutritional supplements, with around 10 products listed on their site. There’s no mention of them adding more products to their catalog.
Here’s a list of what they have and how much they cost at retail value:
- Quench – 30 packets: $49.99
- Great Greens – 30-day supply: $37.49
- Mission Control – 30 packets: $49.99
- Secret Weapon – 30 veggie cloudcaps: $49.99
- Focus Fix – 60 veggie cloudcaps: $49.99
- Higher Ground – 20 packets (Super-Infused coffee, whatever that means): $24.99
- 3-in-30 System – contains a 3-day supply of Moxy Body and a 30-day supply of Moxy Builder: $62.49

- Increase Energy and Immune Support Repair Bundle – contains Great Greens and Quench: $83.99

They don’t list what their ingredients are for the products, but we would assume that these have vanilla ingredients – meaning they have your typical ingredients with nothing special to mention.

Does The Product Work?
As of this writing, there’s no positive or negative feedback surrounding their products so it would be unfair to assume if their products work or not.
In terms of pricing, they seem to be within the average (depending on the area you’re in), but a quick glance over at Amazon returns a few products that are barely a few dollars cheaper or more expensive than Cloud 9 Life’s products.
We assume that their pricing is within this range to make it easier to sell to customers.
How To Make Money with Cloud 9 Life?
Cloud 9 Life has your typical MLM income opportunity, and you make money from:
- Retail commissions
- Commissions from recruiting people
- Commissions from the sales your recruits make
- Promotional bonuses and other forms of bonuses
How To Get Started with Cloud 9 Life?
To get started with their income opportunity, you’d need to subscribe to a monthly autoship of $49 or $59. This would automatically qualify you for their compensation plan, which would be listed below.
Then you have to choose between the following starter product packs:
- Fast Start Pack – This product pack costs $110.
- Value Pack – This product pack costs $210.
- Builder Pack – This product pack costs $459.
Additionally, you will have to pay $49 per year for your affiliate membership.
Cloud 9 Life Compensation Plan
Cloud 9 Life’s compensation plan is focused on building a team than selling products, but this isn’t a red flag or anything because they have actual products to sell.
Right off the bat, you have a total of 11 ranks that you can get. These are based off of the GV and PV that you acquire over your entire business duration.
Here are the qualifications for the rankings:
- 1 Star – produce 1000 accumulated GV
- 2 Star – produce 2500 accumulated GV
- 3 Star – produce 5000 accumulated GV
- 4 Star – produce 10,000 accumulated GV
- 5 Star – produce 20,000 accumulated GV
- 6 Star – produce 40,000 accumulated GV
- 7 Star – produce 80,000 accumulated GV
- 8 Star – produce 150,000 accumulated GV
- 9 Star – produce 250,000 accumulated GV
- 10 Star – produce 500,000 accumulated GV
PV refers to Personal Volume, which is your sales produced to retail customers made within 30 days.
GV refers to Group Volume, or the PV produced by you and your entire team.
You get 25% commission on your retail sales. Commissions simply refer to the profit you make from purchasing the products at wholesale price (discounted at 25% from retail). The difference between retail and wholesale pricing would be your commission.
You get a matching bonus on retail on sponsoring commissions earned by your personally sponsored recruits. This incentivizes people to help build their downlines’ downlines.
Residual commissions follow a unilevel structure, as illustrated below. Your recruits are placed under you on the first level, and their recruits are on your second level, and goes on from there.
You earn commissions from the sales generated by these recruits, so the more recruits you have and the more that they sell, the higher your commission.
Cloud 9 Life Ugly Truths Revealed!
#1 Recruitment Is Needed
While it’s not a red flag, you do have to recruit a lot of people to make some decent cash here. Much like with other legitimate MLM companies under this niche, recruitment plays a huge role in their passive income opportunity.
This may not be case for all MLM’s though, since we’ve reviewed some that have higher retail commissions than recruitment commissions.
Either way, if you don’t like to talk to people or do sales pitches, then this might not work for you.
#2 Oversaturated Market
The nutritional supplements industry is a saturated market, with products coming in from other MLM companies and corporate competitors. You have other more established companies such as Forever Living, Amway, and Herbalife that have a wider audience.
This might make it difficult for you to market these products if your area has more than 1 health and wellness MLM company promoting their products.
#3 No Income Disclosure Statement
The absence of an income disclosure statement means that there’s no proof that people are making money. And when I say people, I am referring to those that belong to the lower ranks. The owners and his management team are probably earning more than anyone in the company, so we’re not counting them.
Most MLM companies will have 80 to 90% of their members earn an income that’s below average, or that could barely be considered as a source of full-time income.
What I Like About Cloud 9 Life?
It’s still too early to tell what this company has in store that puts it ahead of its competitors. It’s your typical health and wellness MLM company and it’s relatively new.
The only thing they have going on for them is that they’re new and it’s easy to get people into the program if you know how to pitch the opportunity.
Is Cloud 9 Life a Scam?
Cloud 9 Life is a decent MLM company with a vanilla (meaning typical) compensation plan that doesn’t really stand out. There’s nothing suspicious about their operations, so I would say they’re completely legitimate.
They’re relatively new to the industry despite having a veteran leading them. However, I wouldn’t really recommend them at this time.
- They’re so new, so it’s difficult to gauge whether or not people are making money from the program. It would probably be a few more years before we see people’s results here.
- They’re heavily focused on recruiting. While it’s not exactly a bad thing, it reduces the incentives for retail sales, so you have to reach out to others to build a team.
Again, a lot of things can still happen and they’re sstill ne
