Jobs2Shop Review Summary
Product Name: Jobs2Shop
Founder: Not disclosed
Product Type: Get Paid To Rewards Site
Price: Free To Join
Best For: People who love to earn a few bucks online doing tedious tasks like completing surveys
Summary: Jobs2Shop is a GPT (Get Paid To) rewards site that provides a unique task to its users: mystery shopping. However, it's not enough to turn this negative review around into a positive one, as I found out two things that made me not want to recommend this program to anyone. First, there were issues on members not getting paid, and these were very recent (as recent as late 2018), so that's quite alarming when there's a chance you're not getting paid. Second, the income potential is really low (and I'll show you the math) so it's not really worth your time at all.
What is Jobs2Shop?
Jobs2Shop is an online GPT or Get Paid To website that pays you to complete tasks like completing surveys, doing mystery shopping tasks, and a lot more.
The site is based out of Port Washington, New York and was founded back in 2012. No other information is posted about their founders or the company running it.
Currently, the site has more than 1.7 million members to date and paid out $1,250,000 so far.
There are a lot of ways for your to earn money via Jobs2Shop, and I am going to be listing them down based on their popularity and income potential.
1. Survey Evaluations
Completing surveys is probably the easiest task to do in Jobs2Shop.
Like a lot of survey sites, you’ll need to fill out a demographic profile before you can start taking them. This is a pretty short process based on what I read from other users.
You can earn up to $2.00 per survey, while users say that it averages between $1 and $2, which is not that bad.
2. Mystery Shopping
This task is probably what sets apart Jobs2Shop from all the other GPT sites.
Jobs2Shop matches you with assignments from major mystery shopping companies. These companies range from high profile retailers to top-of-the-line restaurants.
The assignments vary from time to time, so sometimes you’ll purchase a specific item and sometimes you’ll be asked to evaluate the retailer’s customer service.
Insert Jobs2Shop Shopping
Here are some of the guidelines that go with the assignments:
- Each assignment comes with step-by-step instructions.
- Assignments are based on a flat-rate
- You'll be reimbursed for any purchase you make on their assignments
- You are reimbursed for other expenses
- You must keep receipts to get reimbursement.
In order to get paid, you need to follow the specific instructions for each task listed by the company.
All in all, I think it’s a fun way to earn money. There are a lot of mystery shopping tasks listed on Jobs2Shop and the options are diverse.
The payouts are varied as well. Some will pay out $15 for each task, while others can go as high as $100.

3. Free and Paid Offer Signups
Free and paid offer signups are also very common tasks on GPT sites, and they’re often very lucrative.
Free offers don’t require you to input your credit card information or make purchases. All you need to hand out is your name and e-mail address.
Paid offers will require you to sign up for products or services with your credit card, or you’ll be asked to make a purchase.
You’ll receive $5.00 for every friend you refer to Jobs2Shop. However, I couldn’t find any more information about their referral program.
Signing Up With Jobs2Shop
Jobs2Shop apparently is only open for residents in the USA and if you’re 18 years old and up.
For registration, you just need to provide your name and email, and then you’ll be asked to proceed with the demographic profile questionnaire.
Here, you’ll be asked for your gender, birthday, and other pertinent questions.
Once you’re done with the demographic profile questionnaire, you’ll be asked to confirm your registration on your email.
Then once that’s done, you’ll be able to take part in Jobs2Shop’s program.
On top of that, you’ll get a $5 bonus too!
How Do I Get Paid?
The minimum cash payout for Jobs2Shop is $25, but $12.50 of the balance must come from completing surveys and offers.
The rest may be from the other tasks.
Payment is made via PayPal in increments of $25.
So if you have $27.00 in your account, you can only cash out $25.00 while the $2.00 remain in your account until you reach your next $25.
Who's Jobs2Shop For?
Jobs2Shop is a decent GPT site and may be perfect for you if:
- You don’t mind the low payouts
- You just want to earn a few bucks online
- You’re not expecting a full-time income out of this program
- You love to do mystery shopping tasks
Jobs2Shop Ugly Truths Revealed!
#1 – Issues With Members Not Getting Paid
Now a common issue amongst GPT sites is that members don’t get paid, which sadly affects Jobs2Shop as well.
I read a lot of customer complaints, especially dating back from last year, that a lot of members didn’t get paid.
This is a cause for concern because here you are working your way towards $25, only to find out that you never received a single cent from the website.
I wouldn’t assume either that all of the members weren’t paid and that this was merely a technical issue.
But even then, this is something that hinders your income potential and greatly affects your entire user experience on their site.
Now whenever I see complaints like these about a program, I would immediately point it out so people like don’t waste your time signing up.
#2 – Low Income Potential
Another common issue with GPT sites is that the income just doesn’t justify the amount of time and effort you wasted on reaching a minimum payout.
With Jobs2Shop, they made it so easy for me to do some simple math on how much users are earning.
This was taken from their site.
To date, they’ve boasted a whopping 7.2 million surveys handed out with more than $1.25 million paid out to their 1.7 million users.
So how much did their users earn?
Just about $1.36 per user, assuming that all 1.7 million members were active.
But let’s give them a benefit of the doubt and say that only 250,000 members were actively going for the $25 payout.
Even with 250,000 active users only, they only got paid about $5 per.
But how many members got paid their $25?
Just about 50,000 out of 1.7 million.
What I Like About Jobs2Shop?
#1 – The Task Payouts Are Slightly Higher
If they didn’t have any issues at all with their members not getting paid, this review would’ve gone on a positive note.
With that being said, there’s still some saving grace to Jobs2Shop with their slightly higher payouts for each task.
You have the lucrative mystery shopping tasks that could get you to the minimum payout with just one task, which to me is a great time-saver since you only need to do it just once.
Now I couldn’t find any other review or feedback about the frequency of their mystery shopping tasks, so I assume that there’s more than enough for everyone to complete.
But then again, half of your minimum cash payout should be via surveys and completing offers, so that’s another limiting factor.
Is Jobs2Shop A Scam?
All in all, Jobs2Shop is a somewhat decent GPT site with a decent rewards program and a decent lineup of paid tasks.
Sadly with issues like members not getting paid and a very low income potential (I showed you the math), this program is definitely not worth the time and effort at all.
Their only saving grace could’ve been their mystery shopping tasks, but even then you need to fill up half of your minimum cash payout with surveys.
You’re not going to be churning out cash as often as you like.
That is, if you’re going to be paid too.
