What is Max International?
Max International is an Utah-based health & wellness Multi-Level Marketing (MLM) company with a mission to "Empower people to build a legacy of significant change in their lives and the lives of others".
They call themselves "The Glutathione Company" because their entire nutritional supplement product line is based around this thing called "Glutathione".
In fact, they are considered to be a leader in the research, development and distribution of glutathione products that fight free radical damages in our body.
What Exactly is Glutathione?
Glutathione (GSH) is the primary protector and detoxifier of the human cell.
It is literally the cell’s first line of defense and even reduces inflammation at a cellular level.
In fact, our body is constantly producing GSH but as well get older, the production slows down.
In order for us to remain healthy, it's important to so-called "stimulate" our body to produce more GSH because according to studies, here are the benefits of GSH to our body:
- Antioxidant defense
- Metabolism regulation
- Cellular regulation
- Anti-aging
- Detoxification
- Reduces inflammation
- Accelerates recovery
- Promotes endurance stamina
- Increased immunity and protection against disease
And that's where Max International comes in.
They have their own doctors and scientists who have done their research and come up with this new nutritional formula that increases glutathione production and supports glutathione in our body.
And that's the basic concept behind Max International.
Max International Product Line

Max GXL is their flagship product and the purpose of this product is what I've just explained - help your body product and support more glutathione.
It costs $85 for a 30-day product supply, which is pretty affordable as compared to other MLM companies like Jeunesse, Purium and Yoli.
Many MLM companies today are charging hundreds of dollars for just one single dietary supplement product.
Apart from this, there’s also a performance boosting drink, an immunity boosting supplement, a weight loss program and skin care products:
- Cellgevity (cell nutrition) – $97 for a 30 day supply
- Max ATP (performance drink) – $85 for a pack of 15 single-serve drinks
- MaxN Fuze (cellular defense) – $92 for a 30 day supply
- Max One (immune system) – $92 for a 30 day supply
- Meta-Switch (weight loss) – $89 for a 30 day supply
- Visible Solutions (skincare) – $239 for a Visible Solutions “System” (replenishing cream, “youth recovery” serum and “one minute wonder” cream)

How to Make Money with Max International?
Just like any other MLM business, there are 2 main ways for you to make money with Max International:
- Sell their products and earn retail commissions
- Recruit people and build your downline teams to earn various bonuses, incentives and other commissions
But before that, we need to understand how to get started and actually qualify for all these commissions...
How to Get Started with Max International?
There are a couple of things you need to pay before you can start earning.
First of all, there's a $49 one-time sign up fee which includes the Max Starter Kit.
Inside this Max Starter Kit, they provide you with examples of sales materials, welcome brochure, and a USB to help you get started with your Max International business.
Secondly, you are also required to pay an annual fee of $25.00 USD to help maintain the functionality of your Virtual Office.
Thirdly, you need to purchase an Enrollment Pack because so far you still don't have any products to sell.
Enrollment Packs vary on price based on the products you wish to buy to keep in your personal stock for retailing.
- Personal Pack: $150
- Professional Pack: $549
- Premiere Pack: $999
Lastly, you need to maintain 100 PV monthly to remain qualified. (PV stands for Personal Volume)
In order for you to meet this requirement and stay active, they'll encourage you to sign up for the monthly autoship.
I'm not sure the exact amount you need to spend in order to meet the 100 PV. But from my experience, its usually around $150/month.
So, let's do a quick recap on the costs involved to start Max International business:
- $49 one-time sign up feee
- $25/year annual renewal fee
- Enrollment Pack (ranges from $150 to $999)
- Monthly Autoship 100PV (Probably around $150/month)
Max International Compensation Plan
Now comes to another exciting part which is Max International compensation plan and how you get paid.
Max International is pretty smart by categorizing the different types of income you can earn into 3 different categories:
- Residual Income
- Bridge Income
- Customer Income

Max International Compensation Plan
Residual income is what most people are looking for because that's the type of income which you don't have to trade your time for money.
But for those of you who've tried to build a residual income, you'll know that building residual income takes time, just like the concept of the Pipeline story:
That's why Max International has 3 different ways for you to earn "Bridge Income", which is to help you persist through the time needed to build your residual income.
Customer Income is very straightforward. It's just the commission you can earn by selling products. This type of income is not passive as well.
In total, there are 8 different ways for you to get paid by Max International:
- Customer Income - This is basically your retail profit when you purchase products from Max International at wholesale price and resell them at retail price.
- Fast Start Income - Commissions you earn for any Enrollment Pack sales within your first 60 days of enrolling
- Prime Bonus (3 Levels) - Special commissions earned by maintaining certain amount of autoship purchases from your preferred customer and/or downlines
- Binary Team Income - Monthly residual commissions based on the performance (sales volume) of your left and right legs in the binary tree
- Global Bonus Pool - You can get a 1% profit share from 1% of Max International's entire global sales volume (The requirement is for you to accumulate 1,000 sales volume more than your previous month's sales volume)
- Matching Check Bonus - Rewards you for being a leader and helping your downlines to succeed
- Max Living Bonus - Leadership incentives for Platinum Associates and above
- New Business Center - Build a new binary leg once you achieve the rank of Crown Diamond for you to make even more residual income
Although it can seem appealing for beginners, let me tell you the truth...
Most people can only earn up to the Binary Team Income. Only a very small percentage of people can actually benefit from the last 4 types of commissions because it's really hard to achieve.
You need to recruit a lot of quality downlines and maintain it which is a lot of work.
And let me remind you, 99% of the members FAIL! You can just take a look at their Income Disclosure Statement which I'll show you in a second.
For now, if you want to learn more about their compensation plan, please watch the full explanation video below:

Is Max International Ugly Truths Revealed!
1. Stockpiling
First of all, this is something I really need you to avoid.
Max International asks their Associates to purchase as many products as you can and then you can keep those inventory at your house.
This way you can then resell these products to your retail customers.
To be honest, this is an outdated strategy.
If you need to stockpile your inventory, many people will run into the trouble of having "dead stocks", which means extra products that you didn't manage to sell.
What many companies are doing now is that all you need to do is to ask your customers to order online and they can either pick-up the products themselves or have the company ship the products to their house.
This way you won't be keeping any inventory and there's no "dead stock" issue.
There are a lot more much better opportunities out there. You shouldn't be having such risk using outdated strategy.
2. Lawsuits after Lawsuits
Max International has been involved in a number of lawsuits in the past.
- In 2011, the company paid a $1.2 million settlement to another health & wellness MLM company called Melaleuca because Max International was accused of poaching members from the Melaleuca's sales force. (Source: Deseret News)
- Max International was also accused of patent infringement by Tripharma. Tripharma claimed that Max International allegedly engaged in false and improper marketing, labeling and advertising. (Source: MLM The Whole Truth)
3. A Little Shady
Max International does not disclose pricing information on its website, which can be frustrating for potential customers.
Hiding of product price does happen to some companies which I'm not sure about the reason for doing so.
But it just shows that they're hiding something.
Why must we become a member in order to view the product prices? I don't get it.
4. Most People FAILED!
This is the most exciting part where you've probably been waiting for to see the real proof!
Now, take a look at the screenshot I took from Max International's Income Disclosure Statement:

As you can see, 97% of the members fall within the rank of Associate to Silver. And the average annual income for Silver is only $4,085/year, which is only $340.40/month.
In other words, majority of the Associates are making less than $340.40/month, yet they're investing hundreds or even thousands of dollars into this business.
This doesn't make sense.
I wouldn't consider people in the Gold rank are making a sustainable income as well.
The table shows that people with Gold rank earn an average annual income of $10,161.03 which is only $846.75/month.
Yes, you can pay off some of your bills and mortgage with that. But remember, most people are probably investing a lot more than $800 into this business.
So, from Associate to Gold rank, it represents 99% of the members in the company.
That's why I was saying 99% of the member are failing at this business.
This is the proof. Right in front of your eyes!
One last thing the income disclosure told us is that the average monthly commission paid to all Active Associates in the U.S. was $140.50, or $1,686.03 USD annually.
Once again, according to the table above, only less than 100 people in the entire company are making the huge money. I believe these are the top leaders in the company.
By the way, this is a pretty outdated income disclosure as it's from 2011. But I couldn't find any updated income disclosure. This is the latest one I could find.
I'm guessing probably the stats were so bad that the company stop disclosing such statements.
Who knows...
P.S. This program that has enabled me to generate a 4-Figure Monthly Passive Income at just 21 years old is FREE to get started and only cost $49/month fee to go full-time!
What I Like About Max International...
1. Clinically Tested Products
Unlike many health & wellness companies that has pretty questionable products, Max International's products seem more convincing.
Just take a look at the number of studies they've done on their products.
They also have a patented compound called RiboCeine which is presented in most of their products.
Basically, Max International has done a ton of research, studies, clinical tests on their products. (At least that's what we see from the outside)
Also, they also provide a full disclosure of product ingredients on its company website.
2. Great Training
Lack of training is one major problem many MLM companies are facing.
However, Max International actually has a 90-Day Training Program which consists of 14 modules that teach the best practices and business skills to its Associates.
There are videos and worksheets within each module to guide students along the way.
New distributors will also receive sales materials and product guides to help them learn more about what the company has to offer.
At least from what I see, this looks pretty legit.
3. Money-Back Guarantee
Lastly, Max International offers a Money-Back Guarantee to customers who return products within 30 days.
Is Max International a Scam?
No, Max International is not a scam, nor is it a pyramid scheme.
They have real patented products that are based on science which are also clinically tested.
So, I have no question regarding their products.
But I assume you're here to make money. And that's why I will advice you to stay away from Max International.
I'm not saying you can't make real money with Max International.
Yes you can. But the income potential and success rate is just too low as you've just seen from the income disclosure statement.
Only less than 100 in the entire company are earning a sustainable income.
So, avoid this company and let's see how I make my money...
How I Make a Living Online...
I'm not a fan of MLM, not because it's illegal or not profitable, but because of all the restrictions and the expensive costs involved.
Instead, Affiliate Marketing is my top recommended business model for anyone to make money online.
The reason is simple...
- You don't have to recruit anyone to make money
- You have the freedom to promote any products you want and not being restricted to only promote the products from one MLM company
- It's Free to get started
In fact, with affiliate marketing...
I've personally created a 4-Figure Monthly Passive Income Stream and become financially independent at just 21 years old without any College degree or working experience!
Through my own hard work, I went from a broke restaurant waiter to living my dream laptop lifestyle in less than a year's time...
