Jewelry in Candles Review Image Summary

Summary:  Jewelry in Candles is a decent and legitimate MLM opportunity, but it's a relatively new company. With that said, there are few reasons why this program isn't intended for anyone looking for a full-time income. The income potential is low since its compensation plan only relies on commissions from direct selling and nothing else. They also have certain issues with product shipment and delivery that causes conflict between their members and their clients.

What is Jewelry in Candles?

Jewelry in Candles (JIC) is a MLM or multi-level marketing company that markets scented candles with jewelry inside of them. The company is relatively new, but unfortunately, we couldn’t find any information as to who founded them or when they started.

All we know is that the company operates somewhere in the United States because they advertise that their products are manufactured in the United States. Other than that, there’s no other information about the company.

They have a Better Business Bureau profile, so that’s quite a turnaround from calling this a scam simply because there’s a lack of transparency.

Jewelry in Candles Product Line

Jewelry in Candles’ product lines is exactly what it provides. They provide scented candles with jewelries inside them. The candles are made from soy wax and come in different scents.

The candles are cheap to resell, but the jewelry items are kind of like a gamble since they may range anywhere between $10 and $10,000. Granted, you’re probably going to get the cheap jewelry pieces more frequently than the expensive pieces, but there’s some level of excitement involved in not knowing what you’re going to get.

Now, you might think that this is probably a scam, but I dug around and true enough, there are other companies (non-MLM) that actually sell candles with jewelries in them. A quick search in Amazon led me to three other brands of scented candles with jewelries.

Does the Product Work?

The products may look and sound nice, but there are certain issues with the shipments of their products. Customers have complained about the serious delays they face in the shipment and delivery of their products.

And you can check these complaints over at their BBB profile.

Other than that, there have been mentions of their candles’ scents as reviewed by third party bloggers but couldn’t find any article about it. These bloggers supposedly say that the candles smell surprisingly good and are at par with the high-end scented candles.

Again, I would take this comment with a grain of salt until evidence of these reviews is provided.

How To Make Money with Jewelry in Candles?

You know why you’re here. You want to know how to make money with Jewelry in Candles.

To make money with JIC, you have to sign up to become their consultant (which is free to do). This allows you to get access to their scented candles.

But there’s a catch.

You’re only entitled to wholesale pricing for these candles. The starter kits are from another company called Jewelry Candles (their partner). According to their page, consultants get 10% off on the pricing.

These starter kits cost anywhere between $99.95 to $499.95, and then the candles will have subsequent pricing, so you get some decent margins.

How to Get Started with Jewelry in Candles?

As mentioned above, it’s free to sign up to become a consultant, but you’ll have to purchase a starter kit to get started.

Jewelry in Candles Compensation Plan

As a consultant for Jewelry in Candles, you earn a commission by selling the items from their product line at retail price.

Members get 20% commission when making a sale. They don’t have anything else in place for bonuses or recruitment incentives, so your only way to earn is through making direct sales.

To get into the commission program, you have to purchase their starter kits, which cost anywhere between $99 to $499cal at wholesale price, but they’d retail for about $109 to $225 respectively. A 20% commission from these sales could mean that it might not be consistent enough to get you to anywhere close to a full-time income.

Jewelry in Candles Ugly Truths Revealed!

#1 – Low Income Potential

To expound further on their compensation plan, you’re roughly getting at least a $5 profit from each candle you sell (from the starter kits) and then a 20% commission from the sales you make.

This might be impressive for a sideline business, but if you’re looking for 4-figures a month and beyond, then that might require you to do a lot of selling. While it’s not impossible to attain a 4-figure income, you’d have to work twice as much.

And because they don’t have an income disclosure statement, we’re not getting any idea as to how much consultants are earning every year.

#2 – Low Business Ratings from BBB

I have never seen any business rating from Better Business Bureau go to a low D-, except for the case of Jewelry in Candles.

Is Jewelry in Candles a Scam - BBB Rating

The reason why this has bearing is because the BBB is a reputable complaint platform for businesses, and even the big Fortune 500 companies are part of the BBB to establish their credibility.

Getting an accreditation from the BBB adds to the legitimacy of your business as well.

But with Jewelry in Candles, their rating leaves a lot to be desired because of the numerous complaints about their products and other undisclosed issues.

#3 – Lack of Customer Service

They also fail to get accreditation from BBB because they have poor customer service. The complaints range from not getting their items shipped to their credit cards getting randomly charged or getting charged the wrong amount.

Again this is a big deal because you’re trying to market their products and sales are the only way for you to make money. When people complain enough times, they’ll avoid your products like the plague. This hinders you from making any real money big time.

What I Like About Jewelry in Candles?

#1 – Candles Are Within Market Range

While you’re not guaranteed the value of jewelry you’re getting, the price range for their scented candles are actually within the market value so it doesn’t really put your customers off.

Jewelry scented candles on Amazon cost about the same price as candles from Jewelry in Candles.

Is Jewelry in Candles a Scam?

Jewelry in Candles is a legitimate MLM opportunity that markets scented candles with jewelry inside them. However this unique MLM opportunity is not something I would recommend if you’re looking for a program to make you a full-time income.

The income potential is really low due to their compensation plan, and there’s no other incentive provided other than to push sales.

On top of that, members have to deal with the products’ issues with shipment and JIC’s customer service reputation, so they have a long road ahead of them if they want to churn out some serious cash.

But if you’re just looking for something to sell on the side, this program might be worth looking into.

How I Make a Living Online?

I'm not a fan of MLM, not because it's illegal or not profitable, but because of all the restrictions and the expensive costs involved.

Instead, Affiliate Marketing is my top recommended business model for anyone to make money online.

The reason is simple...

  • You don't have to recruit anyone to make money
  • You have the freedom to promote any products you want and not being restricted to only promote the products from one MLM company
  • It's Free to get started

In fact, with affiliate marketing...

I've personally created a 4-Figure Monthly Passive Income Stream and become financially independent at just 21 years old without any College degree or working experience!

Through my own hard work, I went from a broke restaurant waiter to living my dream laptop lifestyle in less than a year's time...
